In the 2014 article, „ Understanding the Internet of Things (IoT)“ GSMA shares its vision of the evolution of The Internet of Things that will lead to the so-called Connected Life.
The future of mobile connectivity goes beyond tablets and cars, allowing to connect virtually everything. It is assumed that there will be a significant rise of connected devices throughout the world, allowing the growth of new services , transforming the way people work and live .
The lack of human interaction will probably cause the emergence of new business models and promote the delivery of services across diverse socio- economic sectors. A research by Machina Research predicts that the Internet of Things is likely to boost the economy by an enormous amount up to US$ 4.5 trillion yearly .
The needs of variable industries are already met by the use of Machine to Machine (M2M) solutions using wireless networks . Being a relatively new sector , the M2M connections are expected to grow up to 55% a year in Europe , North America, Oceania and Asia between 2010 and 2013. Approximately two-thirds of mobile operators in Europe provide M2M services, being a sign of market maturity, in comparison with about half of the operators in the Americas , Asia and Oceania.
By 2020 the amount of connected devices is anticipated to ascend to 25.6 billion , of which 10.5 billion use mobile technology .
The automation of services and cross -industry cooperation will presumably be beneficial for the sectors of transportation, healthcare and utilities . It is predicted that the socio-economic influence of the Connected Life will save a vast amount of lives and money in healthcare and transportation and gives the opportunity for education for the children in developing countries.
The economic growth of businesses in the mobile ecosystem will likely depend upon consumership financing the enhancement of mobile networks. New revenue opportunities, cost reduction and service improvement possibilities will probably arise from the influence to businesses worldwide .
Development of the IoT market could be triggered by establishing a common understanding of the extraordinary opportunities of the IoT.
Progression of the IoT will presumably promote the productivity for enterprises and implement life-enhancing services for consumers, starting from intelligent buildings to agriculture and environment.
For cities the IoT is likely to provide innovative management of energy, traffic and security . E-health services are said to enhance the quality of care and lower the cost for the healthcare system. Education could be suited for one’s needs, making it overall more

Swifts A Modest Proposal

The use of satire in Swift's A Modest Proposal According to Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary satire is a way of criticizing a person, an idea or an institution in which you use humor to show their faults or weaknesses; a piece of writing in that uses that type of criticism: political/social satire (1180). Jonathan Swift, one of the ambiguous and interesting figure of the Anglo-Irish Literary Tradition, the greatest pamphleteers, and a master of satire, denotes that 'Satire is a sort of glass wherein beholders do generally discover everybody's face but their own; which is the chief reason for that kind reception it meets with in the world, and that so very few are offended with it' (Swift). The current essay attempts to analyze the use of satire in Jonathan Swift's most discussed pamphlet A Modest Proposal and the purposes of using this specific genre. The pamphlet reveals a vast number of social and religious problems: one of the major at those days was

ABOUT SERIAL KILLERS

There are lots of other problems with trying to profile serial killers - for example, Finnish serial killers tend to be alcoholics. German serial killers tend to have lower-than-average intelligence. That being said, here are some commonalities: Serial killers tend to be people of average intelligence from troubled homes. They have been subject to psychiatric evaluation, but only 20% received psychiatric treatment. Many of them are employed in stable jobs. One thing that is not consistent is motive. The most common motives are theft, revenge, and sex, but the range within those motives is vast. CONCLUSION Serial killing is surprisingly common, and unsurprisingly disturbing. Popular media 2 has sensationalized and glorified the killers themselves, giving them yet another motive: fame. One of the reasons I didn't go into depth or detail about all of the various serial

To what extent does the media influence foreign policy?

Media is growing every day and influencing even more as the days go by. The word media is derived from the word medium. Singly the different media channels such as radio, TV, books, newspapers, magazines and mobile devices are called mediums, but as one, they are considered as media. (Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary, 2017) The media’s role in society depends on how society chooses to use media. In today’s world, the media has become a crucial thing for society, hence it has the power to mobilize a mass movement. Media has different roles to fill in society. The main role is communication, entertainment, and socialization, but it also has a role to create awareness and be a watchdog that will put the government in check. (Warren Francke, 1995) It is the fourth pillar of power in democracy along with the executive, legislative and judicial government. As media has become more accessible worldwide, it has

RE English is spoken on all five continents

has enriched it. About 70 precent of all native speakers of English live in America. The British people who settled in America ub the 17th century brought their language with them. The vocabulary of American English probably started developing on the first day after the arrival of the first English-speaking settlers, and it has continued to change for 400 years. As the New World had many plants, animals, and other things that were not found in Britian, the settlers added new words to their vocabulary every day. Their language was also influenced by the languages of the Native Ameircans and the settlers from other countries like Spain,France, and Germany. Examples of Native American words include tomato, potato, maize, tobacco, moccasin, and barbeque. Vocabulary changes are not as easily accepted by older people, but young generations often use a mixture of both types of English

The Death of the Author

3 The Death of the Author — The absence of the Author (with Brecht, we might speak here of a real “alienation:’ the Author diminishing like a tiny figure at the far end of the literary stage) is not only a historical fact or an act of writing: it utterly transforms the modern text (or — what is the same thing — the text is henceforth written and read so that in it, on every le- vel, the Author absents himself). Time, first of all, is no longer the same. The Author, when we believe in him, is always conceived as the past of his own book: the book and the author take their places of their own accord on the same line, cast as a before and an after: the Author is supposed to feed the book — that is, he pre-exists it, thinks,
