BAKALAUREUSETÖÖ Merekaitseala võrgustikud Läänemeres

2010. aasta seisuga oli merekaitsealasid juba 5880, mis on üle 150% rohkem kui 2003. aastal. Pindalaliselt on kaitse all ligi 4,2 miljonit km2 merealasid. See on 1,17% kogu maailma merepinnast, kuid peamiselt asuvad merekaitsealad mandrilava piirkondades, hõlmates umbes 4,32% maailma selfialadest.

The most common types of tree are pine, spruce and birch. Estonia, along with Finland and Sweden are the countries with the greatest percentage of forested land. Forest management and wood production are particularly important for the Estonian economy. One third of Estonian forests are protected areas. In these protected forests you can come across types of primeval forest cover, which have long ago disappeared from other parts of Europe. Examples of such primeval forests are the Järvselja forest in Tartumaa County and Poruni in Ida- Virumaa County. Meadows in Estonia are rich in different species much more so than in Western Europe. Toompea lossi inglisekeelne kirjeldus

This is Toompea Castle. The history of Toompea is actually the story of rulers and power in Estonia. The times and rulers changed and so did power and mentalities – each new ruler built and fortified this place according to his needs and taste. Today, visitors to Toompea can find here buildings mostly dating from three periods: the medieval order’s stronghold with its impressive western wall and towers, the most well-known of which is the tower of Tall Herman; the Russian-era government administration building with a facade representing classical styles and opening onto Castle Square; and the building of the Riigikogu, which originates from the time of the First Republic of Estonia and is hidden behind the walls of the castle Time has been generous to Toompea castle. The well-protected fortress has been almost impregnable. It has been spared big fires and, even more importantly, the palace has always had its masters. Being a centre of...

Ways of using the money to benefit the environment and the..

The purpose of this proposal is to make recommendations regarding the best ways to use the money to benefit the environment and the local community. Local concerns It would be a good idea to put money on animal pounds. This would mean that people can walk on streets without frightening homeless animals. One another suggestion would be to use this money to arrange parks and children's playgrounds. In this way, there will be a good place where to walk and play. Moreover, children could play in a protected place. Another good solution would be to buy christmas decorations. By doing this, the city will be beautiful and people will always be in a good mood and they also will be happier. Conclusion On the whole, I believe that if we consider some of the suggestions above, we will able to create a safer environment and a friendly community. In this way, the public will have a clear understandig of the aim of our community and also will be interested in helping.

Assessment Report

Assessment Report To: Mr Emerson From: Egert Kaegas Subject: Hillside Camping Bagsbottom-by-Sea Introduction As requested, the purpose of this report is to describe and assess the suitability of this camp site for inclusion in our brochure. Location The site consists of a 500 m2 field overlooking the village of Bagsbottom-by-Sea. It is easily accessible to customers arriving by road or rail. Although the site offers an outstanding view, it is not protected from the wind. It can, in fact, become quite chilly in the evenings. Features Hillside has large shower block consisting of 10 showers and toilets for men and the same for woman. However, the cleanliness of the shower and toilet blocks is not of an acceptable standard. There is a bus service to the village, yet it is inconvenient as since it runs only every 30 or 60 minutes. Hillside also has launderette, a restaurant and a bar, although the restaurant and bar are expensive. Conclusion

Should parents be obliged to immunize their children against childhood diseases?

world. Preventive medicine is a very useful way to eradicate illnesses because by applying it we do not need to cure diseases or treat their symptoms, we just prevent them. Every year thousand of children’s lives are saved thanks to timely vaccination. In addition, history also demonstrates us that childhood illnesses of previous centuries such as measles, tuberculosis and diphtheria have declined dramatically nowadays due to preventive care, which has protected children from potentially deadly diseases. Some members of our society will mention freedom of choice and insist that parents can make their own decision. But some old diseases still exist in the world and those who fail to take their assigned dose of medicine may negate the efforts of those who do. So those some parents have to think about the rest of mankind and immunize their children as well. In conclusion, immunization is one of the factors supporting the health of people. I firmly

Biggest dangers to wild animals in Estonia.

Firstly, big forest machines disturb animals. For example, in winter the machines disturb animals who hibernate in winter. As a result, animals can leave their habitations and go somewhere else where is quiter. In addition to disturbing animals, the forest industry endanger wild animals' lives. Some machines can simply kill some animals accidentally. Besides, there are some species which are rear in Estonian forests. These species should be protected. A further problem is poaching- although it is not a very big problem in Estonia, it affects the number of animals. There are, however, a lot of wild animals in our woods and their life is pretty good, compares with some other country, where are more poaching for example. In conclusion, it can be said that although human activities damage and pollute the environment of wild animals, their life in Estonia is not neccessarily inevitable.

There are viruses computers and hackers who try brake in computers and all companies computers need to protected from those threats. The third most needed profession is a good government employee. People want some changes in their lives, but government employees think only about, how to earn more money. They have to think first about people and then about themselves. Estonia's most needed professions are likely the same as in other developed countries. I think that modern society needs more professions who know how to use new technologies, and toctors who help we make our life better.

Ohustatud liigid - NB! inglise keeles

Elephants live in Central Africa and are the largest land animals alive today. They eat grass, twigs and some fruit. In many Asian countries elephants are symbols of wisdom and are famed for their memory and high intelligence. Once numbering in the millions, the African elephant population has dwindled to between 470,000 and 690,000 individuals because of people hunting them for their tusks. The elephant is now a protected species worldwide, also the hunting and trading of ivory has been banned to protect them. The Rhinoceros, often colloquially abbreviated rhino, lives in Africa. They eat grass and plants. Rhinoceros also have acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight. However, they are hunted for their horns. To protect them, the selling of rhino horns has been banned and their areas are guarded.

To Protect or not Protect Minor Languages

To Protect or not Protect Minor Languages Minor language is a language that is spoken in a minor area in a territory. For example Estonian is a minor language, because it has so little amount of speakers, just over a million comparing to German that has at least 100 million native speakers. Many minor languages have been mixed together or been developed from other languages. I think that the minor languages should be protected, because with languages come with a part of culture and if we terminate the variety of cultures that have developed throughout the evolution of mankind then the world would be boring. There would be no languages to learn, no foreign songs to sing and no joy of knowing that you can speak to a foreigner in his mother tongue. Also people are more friendly and open to you if they can speak freely in their mother language. But not protecting the minor languages can also be a good thing

Phuket

The island is connected to mainland Thailand by two bridges Country : Thailand Capital : Phuket City Area : 576.0 km2 Population : 600,000 (2013) The relatively recent name "Phuket" is apparently derived from the word bukit which means "hill", as this is what the island appears like from a distance. The reason for the use of the pictures of these heroines is because they protected the province from the Burmese in 1785 AD. informatsiooni juhtmevabalt WLAN seadmetelt, milleks võib olla näiteks sülearvuti ja ühendab neid internetiga. Ruuter ise on reeglina ühendatud internetiga juhtme kaudu. WLAN süsteemile on aastate jooksul loodud mitmeid turvalisuse süsteeme. WPA ehk Wi-Fi Protected Access on parandatud variant WEP-ist, kus on parandatud suuremad WEP-i turvaaugud. Samas oli see ainult ajutine parandus kuni parem turvalisuse süsteem WPA2 välja tuli. WPA2 ehk Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 on väga kõrge turvalisusega. WPA2 on nii suure nõudlikkusega, et masinad mis seda impliteerivad, peavad varustatud olema eraldi kiibiga mis tegeleb ainult WPA2 impliteerimisega. (Indiana University, 2013) 1.3 WiMax
