The report is based on a survey that was carried out by Mari Maasikas at Aru Secondary School earlier this year. Girls Approximately one third of the female students are interested in romantic novels. Thrillers account for slightly below a quarter of the pie chart. Poetry makes up 17 percent of total and historical novels roughly 30%. Boys Slightly over than 50% of the male students prefer to read books from the thriller genre. The romantic novels account for one tenth of the chart. About 30% of the boys are interested in historical novels. Poetry makes up 9 percent of the results. Secondly, I think commercial advertising on television is important and good, because it helps television stations to get money for buying new films etc. The programmes shown on television have a higher standard and all this thanks to the profit from commercial advertising. Thirdly, although the advertisements on television help the television stations, I think they are also very annoying and therefore make watching a programme a slightly stressful experience. The average advertisements can be as long as 10 minutes and this waiting is anything but enjoyable. In conclusion, I think commercial advertisements are good because even if it means waiting 10 minutes between the programmes, because they help to inform people of new products and also make profit for the television stations.

Rewards cards Firstly, I think it would be a good idea to start giving out rewards cards to loyal customers to show them that we value them as clients and it would also show to our future clients that we are a company that supports their customers. Lower prices Secondly, I would suggest slightly lowering our prices and letting the public know of it. We should grow a reputation as a company that is not trying to rob their clients of their money. Comparison of "Beowulf" and "Grendel" by John Gardner The text has more or less the same meaning in both of the extracts. The differences lie in the language use, character types, speakers, layout etc. In the original "Beowulf" epic Grendel displays nothing but the most primitive human qualities. He is a grotesque monster who terrorizes a small community of Danish warriors. Therefore he can be called a flat character. In the book "Grendel" the protagonist and antagonist have been swapped. The question we have to ask ourselves is this, do sports stars really deserve to be paid five times the salary of a scientist? A scientist who is working for the benefit of humankind and, perhaps, in the interest of extending the longevity of our stay in this universe? I am of the opinion that it is beyond a joke, it is no longer a laughing matter that those who exercise their brains instead of their bodies are so undervalued. Over the years I have gradually begun to view sport in a way that is slightly off kilter to the way I had viewed it as a youth. The arrogance of former sporting superstars is one thing and the godlike status they attain in the eyes of the populace is another. Where will these sports stars be in the event that we have to leave this planet because of the downward spiral of pollution? Everything is described through Holden's perspective. Holden had quite complex character. He sometimes acts like a 13-year-old but in the same time he can be quite reasonable. The book has a slightly depressing undertone because Holdens thougts about the situation he was in and his surroundings were often very gloomy. The author uses slang and repeats often same words which is essentially quite similar to something that a teenager would do. This does not make, however, the text duller but makes it more lifelike.
