Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking world. It is also one of the world's leading academic institutions. Oxford has 38 independent colleges. The University of Oxford The University of Oxford, located in Oxford, England, is the second oldest and still remaining university in the world. The first one is the University of Bologna in Italy. For years, Oxford only accepted male students until four womens' colleges were opened thanks to the Association for Promoting the Higher Education of Women...

Reporti kirjutamine

This means that the writer knows more about the subject than the reader. You may be asked to give information, evaluate something, or make suggestions and recommendations. MAKE YOUR REPORT CLEAR AND SIMPLE. What style should I use? A report is based on facts and/ or data. Think carefully about the best way to present the facts. Be clear and avoid unnecessary detail. Give essential information and recommendations. A report is a formal piece of writing and it is impersonal (avoid using the pronoun " I "). Say what you have to say in as few words as possible. How should I structure a report? Every report, like an essay, should have the following parts: A. INTRODUCTION- state what you are going to write about. If the report is based on a survey, state when and by whom the survey...

Miks on komplitseeritud ühe konkreetse ülikooli nimetamine esimeseks Euroopa ülikooliks? Loetle nimekamaid ülikoole (ca 5). Missugune ülikoolidest sai keskajal teistele nö eeskujuks ja miks? Eeskujuks sai Pariisi ülikool, sest seal kujunesid kõige selgemalt välja tänapäevase ülikoolile omased jooned ülikool jagunes teaduskondadeks ja õpetada võisid need, kellel on taduskraad. 11. Rasedate ja imetavate emade toitumissoovitused

Toitumise rolli tervise säilimisel tuleb vaadelda esmatasandi tervishoiuteenuste lahutamatu osana.

Old English Literature

D The action of the poem takes place around 500 A.D The storyteller is a Christian poet, we know it, because he is often at pains to attribute Christian thoughts and motives to his characters, who frequently behave in un-Christian ways. Beowulf describes Saxon society. Beowulf was re-discovered in 19th century, when the interest in the poem was primarily historical. In 1936, Oxford scholar J.R.R.Tolkien discovered the literaturistic side of the epic. Beowulf has influenced Tolkien and all the other writers after him. The epic has 3 parts, each focusing on Beowulf's fight with a particular monster. The mains ideas of the epic is: 1) The importance of establishing identity 2) Tension between the heroic code and other value systems 3) Christian elements 4) The difference between a good warrior and a good king 5) Monsters 6) Oral traditions...

Politoloogia ja poliitika

Politoloogia ja poliitika Poliitika (kr politike linna- või riigijuhtimiskunst < polis riik) tähendas algselt tegelemist linnriigi (polise) avalike asjadega ehk kodanike ühiste probleemidega. Selle eesmärk jõuda kõiki kodanikke rahuldava elukoralduseni üldise hüveni. Üldine hüve kreeka arusaamade kohaselt on võimalus elada Jumalatele meelepärast (vooruslikku) elu. Ethos... Epsiloniga ( ) tähistas ,,kommet", ,,uudsust" polises kehtivaid käitumisnorme, ,,moraalikoodeksit" Eetaga ( ) : eetika kitsamas mõistes inimese iseloom. Selline inimene ei järginud ainult käitumisreegleid, vaid püüdis teha head. Antiikeetika keskne idee: tõeline, õnnelik, õnnestunud (kordaläinud) elu. Antiikmõtlejad arvasid, et tunnetus on võimalik meelelise kogemuse kaudu. Aristoteles (,,Nikomachose eetika") Eetika avaldub inimeste käitumises, mis omakorda on seotud koduse majapidamise (oikos maja, kodu) ja poliitikaga. Eetika, ökonoomika ja poliitika m...
