Uurimustöö Sloth

Sloth Sloths live in Central and South America. Sloths are mostly about the size of the small dog. They are about 50- 60 cm long. Sloths have short, flat heads , big eyes , a short snout, long legs and tiny ears , and they also have stubby tails. Sloths move only when necessary and even then very slowly : they can move at a marginally higher speed if they are in immediate danger from a predator (4.5 m or 15 feet per minute), but they burn large amounts of energy doing so. They may eat insects, small lizards, and carrion, but their diet consists mostly of buds, tender shoots, and leaves, mainly of Cecropia trees. It lives about 30 years long. Sloth moves very slow , thats why they are called a lazy animal. On the ground their maximum speed is 0.54 meters per second (1.2 mph).

Gothic story

Home alone Ella was left all alone in the mansion. She hated that but since she was only seventeen her opinion was often unheard. Nobody cared that she hadn't even wanted to move there. A big house with three storeys and an attic is usually the place where all scary movies take place and she knew that. Ella was feeling terrified. She was on the ground floor, in the living room. It wasn't exactly the best place to be in, since the walls of the room were covered with old paintings of men with harrowing looks in their eyes, eyes that seemed to be moving. But she couldn't move. The thought of being anywhere, closer to the attic made her faint.

ICE AGE The earth is very old. During its long history there have been many changes in climate. Between one and two million years ago one of these changes took place the great Ice Age began. It grew colder in the Far North. More snow fell in the winter than could melt away in the summer. The snow grew deeper and deeper. It changed to solid ice. As more snow fell, the ice grew thicker. It began to move. Great sheets of moving ice, or glaciers, were formed. The edges of the sheets were pushed outward. At last the ice covered most of what is now Canada. And it spread southward into what is now the United States. The ice was probably a mile deep in places. It moved over hills and valleys, rivers and forests. It moved slowly perhaps only a foot a day. Millions of plants were buried by the ice. Many animals moved south. Among the animals able to stand

Forgiveness and punishment

So should people forgive or should they decide to punish? Firstly people often do not want to forgive others and want them to feel the same pain as they did. As a result of that people want to punish the people who hurt them. Although if the defendant is sorry and regrets what they did, maybe it's okay to forgive. Even though it may be hard to let go of the hatred and emotions in the end it might help to move on. Secondly if the culprit is not sorry, do they even deserve redemption? And all the people in prisons who don't feel guilt, should we keep them in prison until they do? However the problem with that is that it costs a lot of money. On the other hand there's the death penalty, but that is not really a solution. To sum up I would say that although forgiving is hard, people should do it more often to move on. Also I believe that if after prison people do not regret their

Formal cause: - what form, definition or property it has - why is this salt? because made of sodium and chloride 3. Efficient cause: - what initiated the change or movement - why did the baseball move? because someone hit it 4. Final cause: - what end or goal does it have? - why does he walk? because he wants to be healthy - also nature operates in terms of final causes - things don't happen spontaneously, every action that nature takes is for the sake of something, everything has a purpose - where a series has a completion, all the previous steps are done for the sake of that - art partly competes with and imitates nature

Motivatsiooni kirjand

Always keep moving fowards no matter what happens in life! There is never such thing as “I can’t move on, I am hurt, I am feeling depressed”, there just isn’t. Motivation isn’t something what just comes by a random chance. It is something what needs to be understood and observed with feelings and emotions. Motivation comes from the past incidents what I have had and have been through with. I know what I have been thorugh with and how hard the times can get in life but then I can’t just give up my life, I can’t surrender my body to drugs or alcohol in order to forget or ignore

Healthy mind in a healthy body

HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY Taking care of your body is becoming more popular nowadays. Many companies are starting to make healthy and organic food products and you can even hire a personal trainer to get in shape. It’s very important that people move their bodies because human body is structured for moving. Before the cars and public transport people had to walk everywhere. That’s why overweight wasn’t a problem back then. Their foodtable was more various because they ate everything what was edible and available in nature. Nowadays it’s very popular that people eat junkfood and different products that are full of chemicals, sugars and fat. And if they don’t move it’s easy to get overweighted.

Mozart and his father Leopold Mozart

in Wolfgang. He dedicated his life to supporting his son’s talent. Despite, or perhaps because, of their different characters, Wolfgang and Leopold Mozart were dependent on each other. For the remainder of his life, when Wolfgang had been working and living with his wife Constanze in Vienna for a considerable period of time, Leopold Mozart continued a dialogue with his son by writing letters.  Moving to Vienna Wolfgang left home for good in 1781. The move almost certainly aided Wolfgang's musical development; the great majority of his most celebrated works were composed in Vienna. As indicated by Mozart's return letters (which alone survive), Leopold was strongly opposed to the Vienna move, wanting Wolfgang to return to Salzburg. In 1785 Leopold visited Wolfgang and Constanze in Vienna, at a time when his son's career success was at its peak.  The visit was the last time that Leopold saw his son.

How to keep Estonians in Estonia - kirjand

I think it wouldn't hurt to be able to read before school if the kid is interested in it. But to put pressure on them at such a young age is wrong. School is a place where kids are forced to do things they don't like but it shouln't be like that in kindergarten. What i'm trying to say is young people don't have time to do what they like and enjoy being young because they have to study, study and study. And for what? A lousy job. I have a friend who is really good at sports. He once told me he'd move abroad when he gets 18 because here in Estonia it's really hard to get a supporter who will pay for trainings and equipment. He and he's trainer are sure that if he moves to Finland, he'll be the next world champion! It's really hard to start your own life. If you don't have rich parents to support you, you are not able to buy an aparment of your own. That's why my brother is planning on going to work in Finland. I think if everyone had enough money then a whole lot less people would move abroad

Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary?

learn to speak Russian and English correctly. If we travel, we anyway communicate with different people and it's easier to make contact than we can speak language very well. And communicating with different people make our world-view larger. If your partner, relatives or friends speak a different language, learning that language will help you to communicate with them. It will also give you a better understanding of their culture and way of thinking. I When you move to a different country or region, learning the local language will help you to communicate and integrate with the local community. Even if many of the locals speak your language, for example if your first language is Estonian and you move to the France, it's still worth your while learning the local language. Doing so will demonstrate your interest in and commitment to the new country. It is quite weird if you cant speak this language after 20 years leaving in the country

I'm an advanced user and I don't get viruses while surfing the net. After graduating high school, I'm thinking of buying tablet PC, because it's even more comfortable to use when you're on the move. Sometimes when I wake up early, I open my laptop, visit my webpages and then read news. After school, first thing I do, when I get home, I open my laptop and put some music on play. I always eat behind the computer, study behind the computer, sometimes I even sleep behind the computer. I sit behind the computer everyday until the midnight. I only move away from here, when I have to go to gym, or driving school. I like to keep my files and programmes organized

Usually to music and rhythm. Dance is presented in a spiritual setting or as a performance. Dancing is a good way to spend leisure time. It's good for relaxing and expressioning one's feelings. Dancing helps lift one's mood and gives a good feeling. It is a field of sport that keeps people beautiful. Dancing also develops one's movement. Dance is the world's most famous metaphor. It is the hidden language of the soul. Dancing is dreaming with your feet. All it takes is to convince your mind to move your feet. To touch, to move, to inspire. This is the true gift of dance. The only way to dance, is to believe in yourself and do it. It is not possible to say when dance became part of human culture. Dance has certainly been an important part of ceremony, rituals, celebrations and entertainment since before the birth of the earliest human civilizations. Speech on Fast developing technology

nowadays. When people buy new gadgetry so often, it causes a lot of trash, which pollutes the environment. If we are not careful, new factories cause air pollutioning which also contributes to global warming. However, technology is not bad only for the environment, it can also affect people's health. People do less sport and they are just sitting in front of the computer and TV. We want to have as simple, comfortable life as possible, and we think that we don't even have to move our finger to get things done but actually maybe in future we doesn't have to move a muscle to get things done. Modern technology has improved as far as we need, but, people, let's not get lazy! When we use the advantages of the fast development of modern technology reasonably, then it's a really good and useful thing but always remember the disadvantages also and think about them. Thank you for listening! Have a nice day!

BABA IS YOU

replace “Push” with it, so the rule becomes [ROCK] IS [WIN], you can just control Baba to touch the rock to win the game. Although the game is called “Baba is You” and the goal is usually “Flag is Win” in most levels of the game, and players also need to control the little creature in first few stages. But if you want to complete these levels, you need to change the rules and characters by moving and replacing the words. Sometimes “Wall is You”, so you can move all the walls every time you move; Sometimes “River is Push”, so you can push the river without sinking in it. And your goal in the game is not touching the flag in the game, you can become a flag by changing the order of the words or touch Baba itself to win the game. Of course, not every combination of words will work well in the game. Some sentence like “Stop is Win” is nonsense in the game and it won’t help you win the game. It must be something is You, or you will end the game
