KICKBOXING EHK KICKPOKS

spordiala ja soovisin teada saada, kas ja kus on Eesti üldse võimalik kickpoksiga tegeleda. Lisaks huvitas mind see, mida kickpoks täpsemalt endast kujutab, sest tean, et võitluskunste on mitmeid ja pealtnäha neis väga suuri erinevusi ei märka. Ajalugu Kickboxing e. kickpoks on spordiala, mis sisaldab jala- ja käelööke. Jalalöögid pärinevad karatest, taipoksist ja taekwondost, käelõõgid klassikalisest poksist. Kõige esimesena kasutas terminit Kickboxing jaapani poksi edendaja Osamu Noguchi 1950. aastal. Kickpoksi tunti alguses Full Contact Karate nime all. 1970 aastal toimusid USA-s esimesed kohtumised karatekade ja poksijate vahel, mis saidki aluseks uue spordiala tekkele. Mõned kickpoksi koolkonnad kasutavad harrastaja taseme määratlemiseks (nagu traditsioonilised budoalad) vöösüsteemi: valge, kollane, oranz, roheline, sinine, pruun, must vöö. Esimeseks kickpoksi meistriks tuli Joe Lewis, kellest sai kickpoksi suurimaid propageerijaid
