France school

The French education system is split into three stages: primary school (école), secondary school (collège) and high school (lycée). Primary and secondary education is free, neutral, secular and compulsory between the ages of 6 and 16. However, there are some private schools that are not subject to these obligations and particularities of the French education system. Nursery school classes accept toddlers at 2 or 3 years of age, starting in September. The children develop their basic faculties, improve their speaking skills and are introduced to the world of reading and writing, numbers and other key areas of learning. From age 6 to 11, the children attend elementary school which is mixed and freein the case of public (state) schools. The 'collège' accepts all pupils after elementary school without the need to pass an entrance exam. The teaching is structured by subject: French, mathematics, history-geography, 'civics' or civil education...

Kas kõik on juhus kokkuvõte

Kuid millest me räägime kui öeldakse juhus? Vennad Grimmid on kirjutanud, et juhus on juhtum, mis tuleb ootamatult. Samuti lisasid , et juhus tähistab ettearvamatut sündmust, mis ei allu meie kavatsustele. Just niisu...

on Newfoundland. It died out during the 14th and 15th centuries. 500 years later Europeans started looking for a waterway to Asia, because travelling with spices over land wasn't very safe anymore. The first explorer was Christopher Kolumbus who reached America's shore in 1492, although he thought it was Asia. The next explorer was John Cabot in 1497. He sailed to Newfoundland. The first European who explored further inland was Jacques Cartier in 1534. The King of France wanted to settle nowadays eastern Canada and call it New France. To avoid the high costs building the settlements, King of France made an agreement with a fur trading company if the company brought settlers to New France, they'd have monopoly to trade for furs and they would receive all the profits. First attempts of colonization failed. In 1604, French nobleman and a mapmaker named Samuel de Champlain established first permanent French settlement in the New World on an island

Kanada ajalugu, regioonid ja kliima

The first colony was established what was described as Vinland by the Vikings. It was located on the northernmost tip of todays Newfoundland. There has also been a theory that the Vikings penetrated Hudson Bay and reached the Great Lakes region but recent investigations have cast serious doubt on it. The Greenland colony died out during the 15th century and the Viking adventures in Canada must have come to an end long before that time. The Colony of New France By 1600 French interest in Canada was renewed because of the beaver pelt trade and the fishing industry. First French colony was established in eastern Canada. Because of the French settlement the French established a claim to the Gulf of St. Lawrence area. An agreement was made between the King of France and a private fur-trading company that if the company brought settlers to New France then they would have a monopoly on the fur trade.

The Norman Conquest

The Vikings who had settled down in England had mixed with the Anglo-Saxons. They lived under the rule of the English kings. In the 9th century a territory in northern France was conquered by another branch of the Vikings. That territory was called Normandy. They took over the French coustoms, traditions and language. The Normans lived under the rule of their own duke. By the 11th century the dukes of Normandy had become very powerful. Altought the kinf of France was their lord, they were very independent. Letter of enquiry

At the moment our company is in search for new suppliers, therefore we might be interested in selling some of your products in our shops in France. As the advertisement was rather brief, we have some questions about the possible business arrangement. The main concern is about your price range. We would be very grateful when you could send us the price list. In addition, it would be nice, when you could add the list of products and their qualities. Our company has eight stores in France, so our orders could be quite big. Thus we would appreciate if you could advise us of your terms of payment and any discount available. The last thing we are interested in is your delivery policy. We need to be sure that you can deliver our order in two months time. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely, SIGNATURE J.F.Morreau

Nice

Nice Nice or Nica is a city in southern France located on the Mediterranean coast. With its natural beauty and sandy beaches, Nice, is the perfect destination for those who like sun and sea. Nice, is one of the most beautiful cities you will ever see. The main place of interest is the promenade des Anglais, which is a celebrated promenade along the Mediterranean at Nice, France. It is a walkway along the sea, where you can enjoy amazing view and see many luxurious private ships. Another place worthy of visiting is the small street parallel to the promenade des Anglais; leading from Nice's downtown, beginning at Place Massena, and shadowing the promenade towards the airport for a short distance about 4 blocks. This area of the city is off limits to cars, and by eliminating traffic creates a more serene setting. On this small strip

A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue is an icon of freedom and of the United States, and was a welcoming sight to immigrants arriving from abroad. ● Due to the troubled political situation in France, work on the statue did not commence until the early 1870s. ● The statue was constructed in France, shipped overseas in crates, and assembled on the completed pedestal on what was then called Bedloe's Island. ● They made an fundraiser to get the money to build The Statue of Liberty ● It was an gift from the French ● In France they have the original, but smaller. ● At the beginning it was used as an lighthouse,

Greenland, whose settlers lacked lumber. In AD 1000 Leif Eriksson became the first European to land in North America. According to the sagas this was the first of many Norse voyages to the eastern shores of the continent. Leif Eriksson established a colony what the Vikings described as Vinland.
