Miks me selle ettevõtte valisime? Olympic Casino valisime sellepärast, et see tundus olevat huvitav ettevõtte millele koostada kommunikatsioonistrateegiat. Reklaamiseaduse piirangute tõttu on Olympic Casinole kommunikatsioonistrateegiat keerulisem teha ning on väljakutsuv. Sports

Sports. Sports has a very old history. The ancient Olympic Games were the first big sports competitions. The history of the Olympic Games is linked with many myths referred to in ancient sources, but in the historic years their founder is said to be Oxylos whose descendant Ifitos later rejuvenated the Games. According to the tradition, the Olympic Games began in 776 B.C. when Ifitos made a treaty with Lycourgos the king and famous legislator of Sparta and Cleisthenes the king of Pissa. In this treaty that was the decisive event for the development of the sanctuary as a Panhellenic centre, the "sacred truce" was agreed. That is to say ceasing of fighting in all of the Freek world for as long as the Olympic Games were on. The Olympic Games were held, after the completion of four years during the month of July or August

Topic - Sport

For some people sport plays a very important part in their lives. And to some, it is even a way of life. There are different kinds of sports. For instance, there are sports meant for playing indoors, some can be practised only at a certain time of year. There are winter and summer sports also. Skiing, figure-skating, sledding and snowboarding these four most popular are practised during winter. Good examples of summer sports are: swimming, badminton, roller skating and golf. 2. The ancient Olympic Games The first recorded Olympic Games took place in 776. B.C. at Olympia but the city may have functioned as a meeting place for worship and other political practices many years earlier. The city is located in western Greece. The games were held every four years. It is also presumed that such competitions pleased the spirits of the dead and were organized as part of funeral ceremonies for important people. Later games became part of religious festivals of honouring

Health, Healthy habits and sports

Sports are divided into amateur and professional sports. The most popular sports in the world are track and field, football, basketball, boxing, volleyball and swimming. The sports have changed greatly since the mid 1900's. Performances once thought to be impossible are common today. There are a number of reasons for this remarkable progress in athletics. They include increased competitions, especially in Europe, as well as improved training methods, equipment and techniques. The Olympic Games is an international multi-sport event subdivided into summer and winter games. The Olympic Games bring together thousands of the world's finest athletes to compete against one another. No other sports event attracts so much attention. Several million people attend the games, and hundreds of millions throughout the world watch them on television. The first recorded Olympic contest took place in the Stadium of Olympia in 776 BC

for the will of doom: in fact his parents lived there fleetingly owing to their job. Third of five sons, he spent his childhood in Willingboro together with his younger sister Carol, Bill, his dad and Evelyn, his mother. Since his first years of life he could breath the soft and clean air of sport: his father used to train athletes at university and his mother was 6th at 80 m hurdles in the Pan-American games of 1951.He saw the Olympic games of 1968 on TV and could admire Bob Beamon: he was so impressed that after the jump of 8,90 m he went out with a friend to take the length of a limousine in order to realize how far Bob flied! But for the moment Carl was really thin, so thin that the doctor suggested to make him do sports. His education, beyond studies, embraced a lot of fields. He learnt to play musical instruments, to dance, to sing and applied himself to a large variety of sports: football, soccer (he played

Michael Phelps (Biography of a Sportsman)

He took up swimming at the age of seven mainly to provide himself an outlet for his energy. At the age of 10, Phelps held a national record for his age group. He improved rapidly and by the age of 15 he qualifyed for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Phelps finished fifth in the 200 metre butterfly. Five months later he broke the world record in the same event and also became the youngest man ever to set a swimming world record. He has broken four Olympic records, two American records, one championship record and 14 world records, some even twice. He has 14 Olympic gold medals, two Olympic bronze medals and seven World Championship gold medals. In my opinion, Michael Phelps is a young man with great achievements and he definitely is a role model for many aspiring swimmers.

Rhythmic gymnastics was added to the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, with an individual all-around competition. The most interesting hobby snowboarding I haven't tried snowboarding yet, but i have plans in the future to try it out, because its very interesting sport and it seems fun. Snowboarding Snowboarding is a sport where you use a snowboard which is attached to special shoes. Snowboarding was inspired by surfing and skateboarding and has a lot of similarities with skiing. It was started on 1960s in United States and it became a Winter Olympic Sport in 1998. Styles Freeride is the most common style of snowboarding. It involves riding down any terrain available. In freestyle the rider uses terrain features such as boxes, handrails, half pipes etc. Freecarve is similar to skiing, it's slalomriding. After regaining independence in 1991, Estonia has participated in all Olympics. Estonia has won most of its medals in athletics, weightlifting, wrestling and cross-country skiing.
