ENGLISH GRAMMAR KAS SA TEADSID? Väidetavalt on üle poole inglise keele sõnavarast mitte anglo- saksi päritolu, ehk siis laenatud – kontrolli hoolega, kas ‘sympathy’ ikka tähendab ‘sümpaatiat! kaastunne Aari Juhanson, MA 2009 Tenses – Tegusõna ajad • Olevik (Present) • Minevik (Past) • Tulevik (Future) • Kaudne tulevik (Future-in-the-Past) ...

AMBER AND RUSSET - LATE COLOUR CHANGE GENES Copyright 2014, Sarah Hartwell The ancestors of the domestic cat were nondescript black/brown striped tabbies. Over the centuries, mutation produced a wide array of colours based on 2 different pigments. Eumelanin gives the blacks, browns and blues while phaeomelanin gives the reds, fawns and creams. A few other genes give further variations on those colours such silvers, colourpoints and solids/selfs. Mutations continue to occur and unexpected colours also turn up due to inbreeding where recessive genes, hidden for generations, start showing up. AMBER AND LIGHT AMBER During the 1990s, some purebred Norwegian Forest Cats in Sweden produced chocolate/lilac and cinnamon/fawn offspring. However, those colours are not found in the purebred Norwegian Forest Cat gene pool. Had the gene pool become polluted by someone, perhaps generations ago, breeding their Norwegian Forest Cat to another breed? ...
University of Tartu Faculty of Social Sciences and Education Institute of Government and Politics Marie Allikmaa The strategies of creating a dominant party the case of United Russia Tartu 2011 After the collapse of USSR in 1991, many observers expected Russia to develop into a competitive party system. Yet, the reality quickly challenged this view. The developments of party politics in post-Soviet Russia have accurately been described in terms of a pendulum effect, as in the 2000s, Russia's party system did finally begin to take for, but with a remarkable twist. Following the break of one-party rule, Russia's party system became strongly fragmented - during the 1995 parliamentary elections, 43 parties competed for popular votes (McFault 1996: 90). In the 21st century, the pendulum has moved back, ...

Triploidia (69 kromosoomi) põhjuseks võib olla munaraku viljastumine kahe seemnerakuga, munaraku viljastumine diploidse seemnerakuga või diploidse munaraku viljastumine. Aneuploidia tekib inimestel peamiselt kromosoomide mittelahknemise tõttu meioosis. Enamik defekte tekib oogeneesi esimese meioosi faasi käigus. Esteetika eksamikonspekt (kordamisküsimuste vastused) : 1. loeng: Mis on esteetika? 1. Mida pidas Baumgarten silmas mõistega ,,esteetika"? Mõiste ,,esteetika" vermis 1735. aastal saksa filosoof Alexander Gottlieb Baumgarten. Esteetika sildiga tähistas ta teadust meelelisest tunnetusest. Kreeka keeles aisthesis aisting, meeleline taju. Esteetika o...
