and 1890. The Russian press took up the topic of German influence in the Baltic provinces. As early as the 1860s, the Slavophiles demanded the end of the autonomy in the Baltic provinces and a standardised administration. The unification of Germany (1871) and its subsequent development into a Great Power during the reign of Wilhelm II considerably increased the military-strategic importance of the Estonian and Latvian territories which bordered the Baltic Sea, between the extensively autonomous Finland and the rebellious Poland-Lithuania. The security of the capital St Petersburg became a serious issue for Russian. Tsarist Russia's government circles were afraid of the Baltic Germans' possible orientation towards Germany; especially worrying was the thought that by Germanising the Estonians and Latvians. The first decisive steps in diminishing the Baltic German influence were taken at the end of the rule of Alexander II who was assassinated by the terrorists. The Russian central power

Museum of Estonia (AME). There have been several architectural competitions; in 1933 one of the competitors was Alvar Aalto, who took 3rd prize with his historical project, which was later built in Denmark. Due to World War II the museum was never built and AME had to wait another 50 years for the next opportunity. In 19931994, an open international architectural competition was held, in which architects from ten countries (Estonia, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Germany and the USA) took part. The competition was organised by the government of the Republic of Estonia, the Art Museum of Estonia and the Estonian Union of Architects. The winner of the international architectural competition to design the building (19931994) was the Finnish architect Pekka Vapaavuori. In February 1999 a contract between the AME and Vapaavuori was signed, which launched practical activities for the building of the museum

This equivalence is based on a general assumption, according to which an English word has on the average five characters. Toda (2009) refers again to the "10 characters per foot of film, i.e.: 15 charac- ters per second". As far as Spain is concerned, the author points out that reading speed values up to 15 CPS are common practice, both for cinema and television. For other European countries, figures of 10 CPS for Belgium (Flanders) and 16 for Finland are mentioned in his presentation. As a conclusion to this initial overview of the scarce literature on reading speed, Romero Fresco's contribution (2009) must be highlighted. Although his article deals with reading speed considerations related to subtitles produced with "respeaking" techniques, it mentions the most rigorous and documented experi- ment carried out so far regarding subtitling reading speed: the one by D'Ydewalle et al. (1987)

Elmer Diktonius född 1896 i Helsingfors, Finland, död 23 september 1961 i Grankulla, Finland, var en finlandssvensk författare, översättare, litteratur- och musikkritiker samt tonsättare. Han var en av de ledande gestalterna inom den finlandssvenska litterära modernismen tillsammans med Edith Södergran, Hagar Olsson och Gunnar Björling. Elmer Diktonius var i unga år inställd på att bli kompositör, och tonsatte bland annat dikter av Vilhelm Ekelund och Gustaf Fröding, som framfördes vid Helsingfors musikinstitut i maj 1920 men möttes av ett svalt mottagande[1].

Olen ametilt hoolduse ja remondi juhataja ning minu töö seisneb matkaautode (Touring Cars-Camping Cars) hoolduses ja remonditööde teostuses ja organiseerimises ning ka vajalike varuosade tellimises nende matkaautode tootja tehastest. Kuna töötasin eelnevalt Soomes metallialal, siis läbi juhuse leidsin huvipakkuva töö Soome firmast TC Vehicle OY, mis asub Helsingis Vantaal ning sealt edasi suunati mind 2011. aastal siia Rootsi sama firma Rootsi-poolsesse ettevõttesse TC Vehicle OY Finland Filial. Tööga olen rahul, sest see meeldib mulle tänu oma mitmekesisusele ja sellega kaasnevatele tehnilistele nüanssidele. Ainus ebameeldiv tõik on see, et töökoht on kodust ja perest liiga kaugel. Kuid töögraafik on seatud selliselt, et olen kolm nädalat Rootsis tööl ja nädala kodus koos perega. Kuid peagi olen kogu Soome emafirma toimingu toomas Eestisse ning siis olen juba Põltsamaal koos oma perega ning teen sama tööd kodumaal edasi.

Vanarehve saaks kasutada ka katlamajades sooja tootmiseks. See lahendus on ka juba maailmas kasutusel, näiteks on transporditud purutatud rehve Soome, kus rehvid põletatakse kohalikes katlamajades ja põletusseadmetes [20]. Kasutatud rehvide põletamiseks katlamajades oleks vaja vanad katlamajad vastavate saastetasemete nõuetele ümber ehitada või kasutada spetsiaalselt kasutatud rehvide kütmiseks mõeldud katlaid. Selliseid katlaid toodab näiteks Soome firma Ecomake OY Finland Ldt. Nendes kasutatakse kahekambrilist kombineeritud põletamise tehnoloogiat, see tagab 100% jääkgaaside puhastamise ja põlemisproduktide täieliku eraldamise, mis võimaldab rehvides sisalduva metelli uuesti kasutusele võtta. Katlas saab põletada maksimaalselt ¼ suurusega rehve. Lisaküttena kasutatakse veel kütteõli või gaasi, mis on rehvide põlemisprotsessi reguleerimiseks. Põletamine toimub 31
