cost so much nowadays, it is perhaps the cheapest and the fastest way to travel. The secound reason why i thought that a plane ment for passengers is the greatest invention is that it is an technological wonder. I still find it hard to believe, that a metal construction, that is enormously heavy is able to take off from the ground and fly. Every piece of the plane has been exactly measured and no mistakes are allowed, since every false calculation can cause multiple deaths. The fact that engineers have accomplished to make the plane fly and carry passengers with an almost zero risk is extraordinary and it is one of the reasons why i want to be an engineer, to be able to understand the things that seem so simple to us, but when you think about it, it makes no sense. To sum it all up, i find that a passenger carrying plane is the greatest and most useful invention of all time

Overview Shape of the tower Eiffel and his engineers, as renowned bridge builders however, understood the importance of wind forces and knew that if they were going to build the tallest structure in the world they had to be certain it would withstand the wind. The shape of the tower was therefore determined by mathematical calculation involving wind resistance. Installations Since the beginning of the 20th century, the tower has been used for radio transmission. · GNP is product produced by enterprises owned by a country's citizens. International Standards The international standard for measuring GDP is contained in the book System of National Accounts (1993), which was prepared by representatives of the International Monetary Fund, European Union, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations and World Bank. Nominal GDP and Real GDP The GDP calculation is distorted by inflation. This unadjusted GDP is known as the nominal GDP. In practice, GDP is adjusted by dividing the nominal GDP by a price deflator to arrive at the real GDP. · GDP usually is reported each quarter on a seasonally adjusted annualized basis In an inflationary environment, the nominal GDP is greater than the real GDP. If the price deflator is not known, an implicit price deflator can be calculated by dividing the nominal GDP by the real GDP:

Sensitivity alone does not tell us how well the test predicts other classes (that is, about the negative cases). In the binary classification, as illustrated above, this is the corresponding specificity test. Sensitivity is not the same as the positive predictive value (ratio of true positives to combined true and false positives), which is as much a statement about the proportion of actual positives in the population being tested as it is about the test. The calculation of sensitivity does not take into account indeterminate test results. If a test cannot be repeated, the options are to exclude indeterminate samples from analysis (but the number of exclusions should be stated when quoting sensitivity), or, alternatively, indeterminate samples can be treated as false negatives (which gives the worst-case value for sensitivity and may therefore underestimate it). A test with a high sensitivity has a low type II error rate. 7.Mis on meetodi spetsiifilisus?
speaking task) and uncontrollability (time constriction and possible outcome) was the strongest predictor for the cortisol response. Detecting an association between repeated measures combining several time points, for cortisol the most widely used formulas are the area under the curve (AUCg and AUCi), where AUCg is ´area under curve with respect to ground` and AUCi is `area under the curve with respect to increase´. The calculation of the AUC is used to simplify the statistical analysis with increasing the power of the testing without loosing any information enclosed in repeated measurements (Pruessner et al, 2003). The aim of this study was to investigate any association between psychological variables and the biological stress response. made to tighter caliper or thickness specifications, particularly for case bound books. Typically, books papers are light weight papers 60 to 90 g/m² and often specified by their caliper/substance ratios (volume basis). For example, a bulky 80 g/m² paper may have a caliper of 120 micrometers (0.12 mm) which would be Volume 15 (120×10/80) where as a low bulk 80 g/m² may have a caliper of 88 micrometers, giving a volume 11. This volume basis then allows the calculation of books PPI (printed pages per inch) which is an important factor for the design of book jackets and the binding of the finished book. Different paper qualities are used as book paper depending on type of book: Machine finished coated papers, wood free uncoated papers, coated fine papers and special fine papers are common paper grades. 5/15 Wood block printing
representativeness of the sample with respect to the variables of central substantive interest only if these variables are related to the attributes used in the weighting scheme. Biemer and Christ discuss weighting for survey data in detail in Chapter 17. Finally, nonresponse figures should be clearly reported in surveys. This often takes the form of a response rate figure. When reporting response rates it is important to state how the response rate was calculated. For details of response rate calculation and a description of sources of nonresponse, see the brochure on standard definitions of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). A regularly updated version and an online response rate calculator can be found on the AAPOR website (www.aapor.org). 1.4.4 Measurement and Measurement Error Measurement error is also called error of observation. company pays one fourth of the CPT amount for the preceding tax period. This method cannot be used if a company suffered a loss in the preceding tax period. On the basis of the presumed CPT amount: every quarter a company pays one fourth of the estimated CPT amount. The amount of tax so paid should be at least 80% of the actual amount of CPT according to the results of the current tax period. The taxpayer can change the tax payment method (if the second calculation method replaces the first method). For this purpose it submits an adjusted tax return not later than the twentieth of the third month of the quarter in which the calculation method changed. 77 Current CPT payments are made not later than 22 March, 22 June, 22 September and 22 December of the current tax period. 2.8.2. Withholding tax (WHT) Taxpayers paying withholding tax (WHT) are foreign companies that receive income from

For the calculation of costs of delay the author used available financial data from Estonian Air annual reports and data from the studies conducted by different organisations. As the findings of this study represent only passenger flights, these results may not be used for describing military or freighter flights’ delays. The author of this study established transparent reference values, which are operationally meaningful, for the costs incurred by airline as a result of airborne and ground delays

the output. You know that an ideal sensor should produce an output voltage X for temperature T, but the real sensor produces an output voltage Y for temperature T. By measuring the output at several temperatures, you can build up a table of information that relates the output of that specific sensor to temperature. This information can be stored in memory. When the micro- processor reads the sensor, it looks in the memory (or does a calculation) to determine the actual temperature. You would want to look at storing this calibration with the sensor if it is not physically located with the microprocessor. This way, the sensor can be changed without recalibrating. Figure 1.1 shows three means of handling this calibration. In diagram A, a microprocessor connects to a remote sensor via a cable. The microprocessor stores the calibration information in its EEPROM or flash memory. The tradeoffs for this method are:
all its horrors. "Berenice" a man digs out the body of his dead pride, pulls out her teeth. Metempsychosis the belief in the transmigration of the soul. "Ligea" a revenant (she has returned from earlier ages, centuries). Arabesque. Grotesque "The Mask of the Red Death". Other favourite themes and symbols are death and fleeting time(time runs fast) imply the inevitable triumph of death over mankind. Poe is never optimistic. He tries to avoid the world of shroud calculation and callousness (being disrespectful of other people's emotions). Ratiocinative more optimistic. Poe shows the triumph of human intellect. "A Decent into the Maelström". Other tales display the power of sharp logic. Detective stories where the protagonist is called Auguste Dupin the first great detective in the world's literature. "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", "The Story of the Purloined Letter" (purloined stolen) two systems of detection. Method of deduction

g. territorial sea is 12 nm. Some seashores are not very straight, they are complicated in this case you can connect the outstanding points, these are straight base lines. Then it is easier to make measurements. The water in the straight line is considered as internal waters not covered by PIL, under full sovereignty of the state. Territories of the seaports, of historical bases belong under the state. In case of tides: low water mark is used for calculation for base lines. Difference between high water mark and low one are internal waters. The beach in side view: from the beach is the baseline. The first territory is territorial sea or territorial waters. According to the UNCLOS (1982) convention (not ratified by all countries, but important, contains all stuff) territorial sea can be max 12 nm. Original idea of territorial sea possible to cover by the artillery from land, so
