Protecting endangered species will make a difference in humans ’ life
In the nature of humankind it is natural to hunt animals . However, nowadays hunting endangered species will make humans be just killers , because it is not necessary to kill something just to have a trophy on the wall at home. People can be proud of what they have done , but decreasing the population of a species largely will cause the specific animal breed to go extinct faster than it would happen via natural causes . Therefore , humans should stop hunting endangered species to slow down their extinction , as these species offer balance in the wildlife , are used without purpose in medicine , and may even reduce poverty .
Species on the brink of extinction affect us more than we realize. Sure , pandas are cute , and rhinos are fun to look at, but is there anything more to that? All animals and plants form a very important part of our ecosystem that also includes our lands and waters . Remove one part from the environment and damage will be done. For example, after the last wolves were killed in Yellowstone Park in 1926, problems began to emerge. During the 70 years before wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone Park there were many problems with the rise in deer population, conditions of the park were impaired by erosionding land and eradicating all kind of greenery. In 1995, the reintroduction of the wolves fixed the problems. The natural situation was restoredadvanced, new species appeared and the deer population was got under the control . Therefore, all animals are important to our environment and if one of the species goesis going to extinct, then the whole natural ecosystem will be disheveled. It will affect humans as well because we are a part of wildlife. Animals and plants benefit us just by being there. These benefits, whichthat are called "ecosystem services ", which most of us take for granted . Some of these services are obvious; fFor instance , there are the plants and animals that we eat. Meanwhile , photosynthetic plankton in the sea and green plants, provide us with the oxygen we breathe. If those things disappear humans will lose physical goods in their life.
From a lot of different animal species that are in a danger of extinction we, humans, get the medicine that cures will cure our sicknesses. The use of animal parts in traditional medicine can also contribute to a species’ decline, despite there being no real evidence of the efficacy of these treatments. The rarity of a creature does not protect it from being killed in the name of “medicine”; it just raises the market price and by that humankind is destroying its own environment. We do not know are the parts of the animals that are used in the medicine actually helpful to us. There is no proof that those things will help us with our ailments. There is no solid evidence to prove it. And we still inside of each one mind never think do we actually need that medicine thatwhat has taken an endangered animal’s life. An innocent life of an animal, that could live many long years and be useful to nature and society some other way, for example, reduce poverty. If humankind and scientists are not absolutely sure does it pay off to use the substances in medicine, then why do we keep making money out of it. It is not right to sacrifice endangered species for something that is not useful and just makes the companies money.
Saving endangered species like pandas, gorillas and tigers helps reduce poverty and improve the lives of local communities. Ginette Hemley, who is World Wildlife Fund senior vice president has said: “Problems that threaten species like the destruction of habitats and natural resources often contribute to poverty.” So with protecting the threatened species, poverty can be reduced. For example, according to the report of World Wildlife Fund, some ecotourism projects based on the observation of species in the wild - such as marine turtles, pandas and mountain gorillas in the wild -generate significant amounts of money for communities. Applying knowledge of species’ movements in and across habitats can help implement such sustainable land-use planning . Only with that one fact there is proof that protecting endangered species can help reduce poverty in many places of the world. When we read the World Wildlife Fund report even further, there are more significant things that have happened and been useful to poor areas in the world, for instance, in the Indian village of Farida, a World Wildlife Fund awareness-raising program aimed at conserving the rare Ganges river dolphin helped the community to address critical basic needs such as clean water. After five years, the number of families below the poverty line significantly declined. We have proof, that helping and protecting endangered species makes things better for the poor parts of the world. From alive endangered species like dolphins , mountain gorillas, pandas or rhinoceros can help protect some land areas for people to use, get fresh water or outgrow money for one region to grow and find a way out of the poverty.
In the nature of humankind it is natural to hunt animals and use some of the animal substances in medicine. But we do not need to do it because we do not know is using animals useful or not. We know only little steps that has been done to protect endangered species and how it helps the world, but not the whole big perspective of the thing . There is proof that endangered species help the world to be better place only if people do everything for animals. We need to protect them because otherwise soon there will not be anything left of humans’ humanity and animals. If we keep doing the cruel actions, we will destroy our chance for better life.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS

ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS Our environment is constantly changing. However, as our environment changes, so does the need to become increasingly aware of the problems that surround it. With a massive influx of natural disasters people need to be aware of what types of environmental problems our planet is facing. Current environmental problems make us vulnerable to disasters and tragedies, now and in the future. Unless we address the various issues seriously we are surely doomed for disaster. Current environmental problems require urgent attention. 1. Pollution: Pollution of air, water and soil require millions of years to recoup. Industry and motor vehicle exhaust are the number one pollutants. Heavy metals, nitrates and plastic are toxins responsible for pollution

Reasons why human beings are unique

"I am become death, the destroyer of worlds." So said the physicist Robert Oppenheimer, who helped to invent the atomic bomb. The two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 killed around 200,000 Japanese people. No other species has ever wielded such power, and no species could. The technology behind the atomic bomb only exists because of a cooperative hive mind: hundreds of scientists and engineers working together. The same unique intelligence and cooperation also underlies more positive advances, such as modern medicine. But is that all that defines us? In recent years, many traits once believed to be uniquely human, from morality to culture, have been found in the animal kingdom (see part one in this two-part series). So, what exactly makes us special

Essay about necessaty of zoos

Zoos are sometimes seen as necessary alternatives to a natural environment. Not only people are trying to keep endangered species and rare animals in the nature reserves, but also the number of zoos built around the world is slowly growing. Do we actually need those kind of man-made "homes" for animals or is it better for them to live outside cement walls in their natural habitat? First of all, nowadays we need to help the nature and animals that are the ones facing quite big danger of becoming extinct. Mostly it is caused by our selfish attitude: we do not take care of nature. Zoo is one of the solutions to help to preserve nature and to protect it from poachers. For example Loxodonta africana is an African elephant who has been hunt down and whose population was significantly reduced in 20th century. The population in the Tanzanian Selous Game Reserve, once the largest of any reserve in the world, dropped from 109 000 in 1976 to 13 000 in 2013

Environmental problems (Keskkonnaprobleemid)

Environmental problems Nimi Klass Biodiversity The variety of life on Earth, its biological diversity, is commonly referred to as biodiversity. The number of species of plants, animals, and microorganisms, the enormous diversity of genes in these species, the different ecosystems on the planet, such as deserts, rainforests and coral reefs are all part of a biologically diverse Earth. Appropriate conservation and sustainable development strategies attempt to recognize this as being integral to any approach. In some way or form, almost all cultures have recognized the importance of nature and its biological diversity for their societies and have therefore understood the need to maintain it. Yet, power,

Inglise keele report: Animals in danger of extinction

Subject: Animals in danger of extinction Date: 20.04.11 The aim of this report is to make an overview of the status of wild animals in the world. The report is based on up-to-date statistics related to the topic. There are several disappointing facts and figures. a) Over the last couple of years the list of animals in danger of extinction has grown rapidly. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has calculated the percentage of endangered animals as 40 percent of all organisms. Recent research indicates that 70% of the world's most threatened mammal species are currently receiving little or no conservation attention. On 29 January 2010, the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species identified 842 extinct species and subspecies. b) The rarest animal on Earth today is the Pinta Island Tortoise (originating from the Galapagos Islands) , which is critically endangered, since there is only

Rare animals Rare Chinese tiger seen in the wild Researchers have confirmed that a wild tiger, photographed by a farmer in the Qinba Mountains of Shaanxi Province, Central China, is indeed that of the critically endangered South China tiger. The South China tiger classified as one of only five subspecies of tiger still alive today is extremely rare, with only an estimated 20 to 30 still remaining in the wild. The wildlife and conservation group WWF says the South China tiger is actually native to the Hainan most forests of south-east China, and because there are so few individuals left, it is regarded by many scientists as being "functionally extinct" in the wild. But a group called Save China's Tigers

degradation, climate change, animal cruelty and indigenous rights abuses in the countries where it is produced, as the land and forests must be cleared for the development of the oil palm plantations. According to the World Wildlife Fund, an area the equivalent size of 300 football fields of rainforest is cleared each hour to make way for palm oil production. This large-scale deforestation is pushing many species to extinction, and findings show that if nothing hanges, species like the orangutan could become extinct in the wild within the next 5-10 years, and Sumatran tigers less than 3 years. In total, 50 million tons of palm oil is produced annually, supplying over 30% of the world’s vegetable oil production. This single vegetable oil is found in approximately 40-50% of household products in countries such as United States, Canada, Australia and England. Palm oil can be present in a wide variety of products, including: baked goods, confectionery,
