Protecting endangered species will make a difference in humans life

Protecting endangered species will make a difference in humans' life In the nature of humankind it is natural to hunt animals. However, nowadays hunting endangered species will make humans be just killers, because it is not necessary to kill something just to have a trophy on the wall at home. People can be proud of what they have done, but decreasing the population of a species largely will cause the specific animal breed to go extinct faster than it would happen via natural causes. Therefore, humans should stop hunting endangered species to slow down their extinction, as these species offer balance in the wildlife, are used without purpose in medicine, and may even reduce poverty. Species on the brink of extinction affect us more than we realize. Sure, pandas are cute, and rhinos are fun to look at, but is there anything more to that? All animals and plants form a very important part of our ecosystem that also includes our lands and waters. Remove one part from the environment

sustain themselves. · Yet, the pressures to destroy habitat for logging, illegal hunting, and other challenges are making conservation a struggle. Climate Change Affects Biodiversity · The World Resources Institute reports that there is a link between biodiversity and climate change. Rapid global warming can affect an ecosystems chances to adapt naturally. What have governments around the world been trying to do about it? Climate Change Flexibility Mechanisms · Flexibility mechanisms were defined in the Kyoto Protocol as different ways to achieve emissions reduction as part of the effort to address climate change issues. These fall into the following categories: Emissions Trading, Joint Implementation and Clean Development Mechanism. · However, these have been highly controversial as they were mainly included on strong US insistence and to keep the US in the treaty (even

Letter to Editor

Sample Letter to the Editor Letter to the Editor [ Date ] [ Newspaper Name ] [ Newspaper Address ] [ RE: Headline and author if you're writing in reference to a story OR "Performing Animals in the City of _______" ] Dear Editor: While circuses and traveling shows featuring wild animal acts may seem innocent enough, it has become apparent over the past decade that wild animal acts are inherently cruel and unsafe. Most circuses and traveling shows that use wild animals keep them for months on end in cramped transport cages, sometimes hardly larger than they are, with only brief periods outside to perform. The animals have no opportuni- ty to move or behave in a natural way. That's why veterinarians, animal behaviourists, biologists and animal welfare organizations around the world have condemned wild animal acts. Circuses and traveling shows with wild animals also pose a risk to human safety. Numerous circus employees have been seriously injured or killed by performing animals

production was primarily responsible, while others cited natural causes as well. Recently, more intensive research has been done so that countries have the information they need to prevent acid rain and its dangerous effects. The levels of acid rain vary from region to region. In Third World nations without pollution restrictions, acid rain tends to be very high. In EasternEurope, China, and the Soviet Union, acid rain levels have also risen greatly. However, because acid rain can move about so easily, the problem is definitely a global one. Global warming Global warming, also known as the greenhouse effect, immediately received international attention. Scientists, environmentalists, and governments around the world took an interest in the subject. Global warming is called the greenhouse effect because the gases that are gathering above the earth make the planet comparable to a greenhouse. By trapping heat near the surface of the earth, the

"Wild animals in danger". Ettekanne inglis keeles.

Wild animals in danger 11.02.2010 Wild animals in Estonia, like in many other places in the world, are in danger. Forest industry, agriculture and other human activities in the nature, as well as pollution, disturb and even endanger the life of wild animals. Firstly, there is a serious habitat problem because, after pollution or destruction, habitats take many years (sometimes hundreds or even thousands) to grow again. Pollution and destruction change the balance of nature. Each species in a habitat (for example, wood, jungle, marsh or forest) needs and helps the rest. As a result, forests are been cutting down. And what has taken the place of these green, natural places? Houses, farms, cities, streets, roads and factories. Because of this (and pollution, too) several species are dying all over the world. In addition , if one animal, bird or insect disappears,

Animal rights movements and their views on hunting

Animal rights movements and their views on hunting Koostaja: In Wikipedia there are listed 34 animal rights organizations [8], so in this report author has picked out some of these organizations and will introduce their views on game management and hunting. First hypothesis before deeper research is that all such organizations are against all sort of hunting. When mentioned animal rights people usually think about people fighting against wearing furs and keeping animals in cages, but when delving deeper into this there are many problems that animal rights organizations/ movements are addressing. There are also those organizations that have not made any statements about hunting, some of those concentrate only on pets (mostly cats and dogs) but some just don’t mention hunting in any way. These types of organizations have been left out from this report.

Examples: Simple non-inferential passages where nothing is said to be proved. ● Be careful! (Warning or piece of advice) ● I believe that good behaviour is always rewarded (Statement of believe or opinion) ● The protest started at 3pm. The main place was crowded… (Report about something) Expository passages where we develop an opening sentence (without attempting to prove it). ● There are two types of elephants: the African elephant and the Asian elephant. African elephant has large ears and both females and males have tusks. The Asian elephant has smaller ears and only males develop tusks. Conditional statements of the form “if...then…”. ● If it rains, then I will take my umbrella. Conditional itself is not an argument
