Rare animals

Rare animals Rare Chinese tiger seen in the wild Researchers have confirmed that a wild tiger, photographed by a farmer in the Qinba Mountains of Shaanxi Province, Central China, is indeed that of the critically endangered South China tiger. The South China tiger classified as one of only five subspecies of tiger still alive today is extremely rare, with only an estimated 20 to 30 still remaining in the wild. The wildlife and conservation group WWF says the South China tiger is actually native to the Hainan most forests of south-east China, and because there are so few individuals left, it is regarded by many scientists as being "functionally extinct" in the wild. But a group called Save China's Tigers has been working on a captive- breeding programme and hopes to reach an agreement with China's State

Marriage is/is not an outdated institution

Dear audience, I am here to discuss about marriage. I would like you to ask yourself: ,,Is marriage an outdated institution?" I would say that it is, but I would prefer a word ,,special". Marriage is a rare sight, you don´t see the whole package every day: bachelor party, wedding ceremony, big fluffy white dress, bridesmaids, wedding march ,,Here comes the bride" and afterwards big celebration party. But why is marriage such a rare occasion? Firstly, women are more independant. It is not the time where women sit at home doing housework, cooking or taking care of the children anymore. Nowadays most of the women have gone out from home to build a career and discover the world. There are a lot of women who are famous or on top of their career. For example Birgit Õigemeel, who doesn´t know her, she is not married, but she is really successful in her singing career . This takes all their time

Russian 2nd year translation. Prose. The Childhood of Mikhail Lomonosov The great Russian scholar Mikhail Vasil'evich Lomonosov was born in the beginning of the eighteenth century in a little village near the White Sea. His father was a fisherman and he often took his son with him when he went fishing. When Lomonosov was a little boy he wanted to study. After that, Mikhail Lomonosov began to look for books. One man in the village had an arithmetic book. When Lomonosov saw this book, he ased the man to give it to him. He read it so often that soon he knew it by heart. He managed to get more books from his friends and spent many days reading them. How far can we go being tolerant?

How far can we go being tolerant? One of our most valuable and rare qualities is tolerance. It is the ability to see things from the other side, capability to take our companions as equal and bravery to show out all those things. Just like all valuable things are uncommon, tolerance is rare too. It is caused by the fact that comparing to the previous centuries people have changed more self-centered and envious, forgetting others around. Tolerance as a characteristic feature is an acknowledged ideal in today`s modern society. The democratic state is based on tolerance. Over the last few years the attitude against ethnic monorities has been a frequently discussed topic in Estonia. Russians, who settled in Estonia during the USSR occupation are causing economical,

Thylacine AKA the Tasmanian Tiger/Wolf • The Tasmanian Tiger was the largest known carnivorous marsupial of modern times. • Native to continental Australia, Tasmania and New Guinea. • Believed to have become extinct in the 20th century. • Became extremely rare or extinct on the Australian mainland before British settlement of the continent, but it survived to the 1930s on the island of Tasmania. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vqCCI1ZF7o • The thylacine was able to open its jaws to an unusual extent: up to 120 degrees. This capability can be seen in part in David Fleay's short black-and- white film sequence of a captive thylacine from 1933. The jaws were muscular but weak and had 46 teeth.

between the years 1904 and 1925. Then, the remaining population was estimated to be 12 individuals. Mountain lions apparently existed at very low numbers between 1925 and 1940. They maintain a secretive profile in the Yellowstone region. Although the cougar population numbered in the hundreds during the early 1900s, controlled hunts between 1904 and 1925 decimated the population. Today, twenty to thirty-five mountain lions reportedly inhabit Yellowstone Park, but sightings are rare. Shy and elusive, mountain lions live solitary lives and practice mutual avoidance. Males and females interact for breeding when females are about 2 1/2 years old. Giving birth throughout the year, females can have litters of up to four kittens, but usually only one or two survive. Born spotted, the kittens stay with their mothers for about 18 months, after which time they will leave in search of their own home range.

It's easy to repair a Lada when you know something about cars. I like musclecars because they look cool and have a powerful engines what makes a nice noise. In the future I want to buy a Chevrolet camaro ss or Pontiac Trans am. I also have a favorite rally car which is the Lada VFTS. Nowadays a real Lada VFTS is a really rare car, most of the Lada VFTS you see on a rally nowadays are called Lada VFTS replica because they are self-built. I think that's all about my favorite cars.

William Shakespeare, sonett 130

If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun: If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head: I have seen roses damasked, red and white, But no such roses see I in her cheeks, And in some perfumes is there more delight, Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks. I love to hear her speak, yet well I know, That music hath a far more pleasing sound: I grant I never saw a goddes go, My mistress when she walks treads on the ground. And yet by heaven I think my love as rare, As any she belid with false compare. ***** Mu armsa silmad pole päiksest loodud, (11) korallgi punasem, kui värv huultes. However, space missions to Venus have shown us that its surface is covered with craters, over 1600 major volcanoes, mountains, large highland terrains, and vast lava plains. Venus is usually visible with the unaided eye. On June 8 2004, Venus passed directly between the Earth and the Sun, appearing as a large black dot travelling across the Sun's disk. This event is known as a "transit of Venus" and is very rare: the last one was in 1882, the next one is in 2012 but after than you'll have to wait until 2117. Venus orbits the Sun at an average distance of about 108 million km, and rotates once every 243 days. Studies have suggested that several billion years ago Venus's atmosphere was much more like Earth's than it is now, and that there were probably substantial quantities of liquid water on the surface.

Seven pounds

Because of that, Tim decides to save the lives of seven good people, who deserve being alive. He donates a lung lobe to his brother, a liver to a child services worker Holly, a kidney to a junior hockey coach, bone marrow to a young boy Nicholas. He also helpes a woman who lives with an abusive boyfriend. Tim gives Connie and her kids his beach house. He also finds a blind meat salesman who plays the piano and a selfemployed greeting card printer who has a heart condition and a rare blood type. One day Tim fills the bathtub with ice water and commits suicide by pulling his box jellyfish into the water. The piano player receives his corneas and the selfemployed woman who he falls in love with, receives his heart. I think Will Smith is an excellent actor. He makes the movie so real and his acting really touches me. I also enjoy his performance in the movies ,,The pursuit of happiness" and ,,I am legend". The film ,,Seven pounds" shows, that there are not only

one remaining in existence. Tortoises on the Galápagos have been hunted for their meat by sailors and fishermen to the point of extinction. Also, the habitat of the tortoises has been eaten away by goats introduced from the mainland. There have been several attempts to breed the last representative of the species with similar tortoise varieties, but none of the eggs hatched. On the other hand, there is hope for the successful conservation of rare animals. A number of different international organisations have the same goal and work hard to protect both endangered wildlife and natural habitats. a) The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has been protecting nature for already more than 45 years. WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 5 million members globally. b) Animal Rescue Facilities provide homes for animals in need. They are not being sold, transferred or used for breeding. Where possible, many animals

Review: Educating Rita

Frank Bryant, who is played by Michael Caine. Educating Rita deals with relationships and changes. It also speaks about how different people find different things important. The film begins with Rita's arrival to the university, where she wants to discover herself and get educated before having children. There she also meets first time with her tutor Frank. Since the first time they meet, Rita knows that she wants Frank to be her tutor. Frank, however, finds that Rita is rare and unique. That is also the reason, why Frank did not want to teach Rita, he did not want her to change. Thanks to the efforts and sacrifices Rita is able to achieve what she was wanting. The film ends as Frank is sent to Australia and Rita realises that the life with education has the same problems. I think that this film is for everybody. It speaks about finding yourself and about desire to find and develope yourself, which can come anytime, at age 15 or at age 55. For kids

It means that you describe what you believe and practice it in positive ways, with as little reference to other religions as possible.
