Töö põhieesmärk on tutvuda lähemalt Google Docsi omaduste ja rakendamise võimalustega ning anda sellest lugejale võimalikult head tagasisidet. Eesmärgi täitmiseks on seatud järgmised ülesanded: · Google Docsiga tutvumine; · Google Docsiga seotud elektrooniliste materjalidega tutvumine; · Tagasiside andmine. Referaadi käsitlemiseks on kasutatud teooriat käsitlevaid elektroonilisi allikaid. Töö koosneb põhiliselt kahest osast. Esimeses osas tutvustatakse tarkvara omadusi: sisu ja kasutamisvõimalusi. Töö teises osas tutvustatakse tarkvara rakendamise võimalusi: sarnaseid tarkvarasid ja kasutusvõimalusi/lihtsust. 1.TARKVARA OMADUSED Google Docs pärineb kahest eraldi tootest: Writelyst ja Google arvutustabelitest. 6. juunil 2006 tehti Google Docs kättesaadavaks vaid piiratud arv kasutajatele, kuid beeta versiooni kättesaadavusega veebruaris 2007, sai Google Docs kõigile Google konto omanikele kättesaadavaks.
