Are mistakes necessary for discovery and progress?

is often an efficient way of finding out something new which can help people to make progress on whatever that is worked on. It is often the mistake that tell us what is wrong or what needs to be corrected. Through correcting any mistakes that are made and learning from those errors, deffinitely help to make progress. Homework that teachers give to students are a good example, like submitting something to your teacher and getting it back later with corrections. By carefully analyzing the mistakes made in the work, many important discoveries which might be ignored before would be noticed that can later help to progress in something. What can also be brought up as a good example is analyzing errors after losing, so later, after correcting the mistakes, a win would be more likely to come. But progress and new discoveries can sometimes be achieved also without any mistakes made

Instead a portrait, which is painted of him shows all the changes Dorian is going trough. That is somehow making Dorian evil, he starts enjoying life at first, but later on his actions take a darker turn. All of that starts when Dorian meets lord Henry Wotton, who tells him that one should cherish his youth, because youth is only temporary. job making instruments with Glasgow University, who gave him a place where to live and a workshop. In 1763 John Andreson asked him to repair an early steam engine he had bought. This early model, known as a Newcomen engine, was very unefective. The cylinder (where the piston was) had to be heated when steam was admitted, and then cooled again to condense the steam. This wasted a lot of time and fuel. Two years later, while walking through Glasgow Green, Watt hit upon the idea of condensing the steam in a separate place. This removed the need for heating and cooling, making the engine faster, safer, and it used a lot less fuel. A stone in Glasgow Green marks this spot, where the industrial revolution really began. Watt's engines were initially used for pumping water from copper mines. Later, the new cotton mills, which had been built near fastflowing

Buying on credit is an alternative way

Buying on credit is an alternative way, it is said because it is a form of borrowing. MAIN BODY: First of all, credit card offer us a useful form of short term borrowing if you can repay your bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later. We should live according to our abilities and don't buy things when we haven't got enough money. CONCLUSION So, as you can see buying on credit is an alternative method and we should use it only then, when we know if we can afford the repayments.

Friends have more Influence than Family on Teenagers

rebel inside of us. Teenagers act according to the norm that is prominent in the group they are apart of. For example, the punk movement will possibly penetrate different groups and to feel apart of the group, teens will also dress accordingly. On the other hand, our parents behavior will have an influence on us, especially in our younger years. The way we are brought up and how our parents communicate with us is directly correlated to our development and later life. While it can be argued that friends will have the strongest influence on each other, one must not forget that we first befriend our family and later on find friends outside of the family circle.

We were getting on the plane and I was getting more and more nervous, when our instructor told us that if we did not jump he would kick us out with his leg and that made me even more nervous. After we got to the jumping altitude our instructor opened the door and told me: “You are first”. As I was making my way to the door I tried to calm myself down but thinking about jumping made that very difficult. Few seconds later I took all the courage that I had collected and just jumped off the plane and after that everything started to calm down. I screamed from joy and had the best time of my life, few minutes later I started preparing for the landing. I executed the landing very smoothly and my instructor was pretty impressed with it. So overall I think that skydiving is a great hobby and I would recommend it to other people as well, because it is a once in a lifetime experience.
