Accommodation in Lahemaa region
Introduction
Lahemaa region consists of tree rural municipalities – Kuusalu, Vihula , Kadrina and one small town – Loksa, in North-Estonia. Accommodation in Lahemaa represents almost all allowed types according to Estonian tourism law. There are some differences between accommodation types in Estonia and Great Britain.
Comparison of the accommodation ways in Lahemaa and Great Britain
The types of accommodation in Lahemaa are: villa, guesthouse, hotel , tourist farm , bed and breakfast , manor hotel, hostel , motel, cottage , campsite, caravan and lodge. Officially in Estonia there are no accommodation types like lodges and caravans, caravans belong under the accommodation type campsite. Lodges in Estonia, also in Lahemaa are managed by State Forest Board (RMK) and are meant to be independently used free of charge by any tourists. If there is a lodge in a tourism farm, it is considered to be an alternative accommodation type.
Several Lahemaa accommodation enterprises have stars (hotels) and other rural tourism enterprises have quality grades, which mean better conditions than the standard level. They are marked two cornflowers or tree cornflowers. For example - Toomarahva tourism farm and Hara cottage have two cornflowers, Eisma holiday village, Adami tourism farm and Raudsilla hiking centre have three cornflowers.
There are some accommodators who provide unusual accommodation and other services , for example Raudsilla holiday centre near Kolga manor. Raudsilla’s buildings are all tipi’s. Adami tourist farm in Vainupea village has a smoke sauna in the Vainupea river valley .
There are several examples of co- operation in Lahemaa tourism. Some riding farms provide riding trips along Lahemaa, where they have accommodation and catering services organised with co- operating manors and other service providers. Many accommodation providers use local nature guides to provide hiking services in Lahemaa National Park.
The co-operation network – genuine experiences in Lahemaa (14 tourist farms), all provide local food, including home baked bread , different home baked pastries, local fish dishes, traditional old dishes etc. For example Mätta riding farm always serves their home baked bread, goat milk and meat dishes. Kuusiku Nature farm also serves home baked bread, farm honey and several different pastries. Beside that Kuusiku Nature farm has long- term co-operation with nature guides Urmas Rauba and Saima Gordejeva.
There are some enterprises who do not have their own homepage: Sae hostel, Altmäe cottage, Männiku B&B and Võsu post office hostel. All other enterprises have their own homepage, most of them have it in several languages .
Most average homepages are in two languages – Estonian and English . Homepages rarely have five or more languages: Estonian, English, Deutsch, Finnish , Russian, Latvian etc. For example Sagadi Manors homepage is in five languages: Estonian, English, Latvian, German and Finnish.
Conclusion
The holiday guide published in 2010 gives detailed information about the Lahemaa regions accommodation and other tourism services. In Lahemaa there are represented almost all of the accommodation types allowed by Estonian tourism law. In all there are no big differences between Estonia and Great Britain. The Lahemaa region has to offer more than enough choices for different tastes of accommodation services.

    Economy of Estonia.

Economy of Estonia The economic growth during the recent years has been very fast. The Estonian economy is diverse industry and transport, as well as commerce and different branches of services are all equally important. Due to the available natural resources Estonian economy largely relies on the branches related to the forest; Estonian energy sector is based on oil shale. Finland and Sweden are the most important trade partners. The Estonian economy profits significantly from the business generated by more than 2 million tourists a year. The important sectors of the Estonian economy are the processing, transport, warehousing and communications, commerce and estate, rental and letting, as well as business services, agriculture, construction and government, education and health care. In order to be able to import all the products and services, something must be exported, that's why export holds such a prominent position for the Estonian economy and its growth.

Project ESTONIA MAP OF ESTONIA Southern Viljandimaa The southern part of Viljandi county catches the eye with its sublime scenery. The area today lies in the very heart of the historical Mulgimaa the home of hills, deep valleys and lakes brought together by a beauty spot Halliste primeval valley. According to several folk tales, it is also in these valleys, woods and bogs that Old Nick found refuge. The great variety displayed in the nature is also reflected in the local cultural heritage. At the beginning of the 19th century growing linen spread and became the basis of the legendary wealth of Mulgi farms. The ancient barn-dwellings and decaying manor houses are the mute witnesses of those times. The riches and cultural heritage of Mulgimaa owe to the diligence and tenacity of the local people. Village handicraftsmen and masters have always been honoured. Mulgikapsad (stewed sauerkraut with barley groats), Estonian cheesecakes and kama (a roasted me

Cuisine of South Africa has had a variety of sources and stages: · Cookery practised by indigenous people of South Africa such as the Khoisan and Xhosa- and Sotho-speaking people · Settler cookery introduced during the colonial period by people of Indian and Afrikaner and British descent and their slaves and servants - this includes the cuisine of the Cape Malay people, which has many characteristics of Malaysia and Java, and recipes from neighbouring colonial cultures such as Portuguese Mozambique. Indigenous cookery traditional South African cuisine In the precolonial period, indigenous cuisine was characterized by the use of a very wide range of fruits, nuts, bulbs, leaves and other products gathered from wild plants and by the hunting of wild game. The domestication of cattle in the region about two thousand years ago by Khoisan groups enabled the use of milk products and the availability of fresh meat. However, during the colon

LIQUEURS Not for the faint hearted, Estonian Liqueurs are well worth a try. You can't say you've been to Tallinn until you've drunk Vana Tallinn (Old Tallinn). It is available in 40%, 45% and 50% varieties, but if that scares you perhaps you may like to try the cream variety. Kiiu Torn (Kiiu Tower) tastes something like Baileys, and is produced in the small town of Kiiu about 25 minutes East of Tallinn. You can visit Kiiu Tower and sample the liqueur on EstAdventure's Lahemaa National Park Tour Pirita is another local liqueur, which has a bottle adorned by the ruins of the Pirita convent. A true experience can be to drink Pirita at the Pirita Convent ruins, Vana Tallinn in Old Tallinn, and Kiiu Torn in Kiiu Tower! VODKA While they may not drink us much as Russians, Estonians certainly love Vodka. Vodka is used to cure just about every ailment. For example at the onset of a cold, an old Estonian folk

Forests cover approximately 30% of land and 9.4% of all the planet earth. They are also responsible for regulating our planet's climate and act as large purifiers of airs, by absorbing carbon dioxide, and giving out oxygen. Different types of forests Forests are divided into following main types: o Tropical forest o Subtropical forest o Plantations o Boreal forest o Temperate forest o Seasonal or monsoon forest Tropical and Subtropical Forests Tropical and subtropical forests, also known as rainforests or tropical rainforests, are lavish and ample forests with broad leave tree. Estonian Economy Estonians earn about half of the average European income, despite the fact that the economic growth during the recent years has been very fast and the differences have been diminishing. Although the extremely vigorous period of economic reforms is now over, the changes that Estonia is presently going through are far more extensive than those in the developed countries. The Estonian economy is diverse industry and transport, as well as commerce and different branches of services are all equally important. HOUSE AND HOME tööleht

HOMES Almost 63% of British people own their own homes. There are about 25 million homes in the UK, of which seven out of 10 are owner-occupied. Most live in terraced houses and tower blocks located mainly in town centres, semidetached houses in districts nearer to town centres, or detached houses which usually lie in expensive suburbs, closer to the countryside than the centre. Many people live in rented accommodation, including council flats and houses built and owned by the local government. Modern council housing estates may be a mixture of different buildings, providing a variety of facilities for their inhabitants, such as play areas for children, a community centre, etc. Since the 1980s, council tenants have been allowed to buy their own homes very cheap if they have lived in them for more than two years. Since the early 1990s, building new houses and flats has been very slow. But today the number of new homes b
