.. As you already know how to play the chords and the strum for the song, all we really need to work on today with this lesson is getting you to remember the changes and getting into the feel of the song. The first part of `The Midnight Special' is the chord D followed by the chord G. Interestingly the WHOLE song uses the same structure, the guitar plays the same progression in both the verses and the choruses. In tomorrows lesson I will also give you a chance to play along with other instruments, but today we will try and work with a singer and your guitar. You will have noticed by now that I like to break things down and give them to you in small, manageable steps. Nothing is going to change for this lesson. There are going to be four parts to this lesson. Firstly I want you to listen to the song, then I want you to try and play it by yourself, thirdly I would like you to play it with another guitar, and finally we will get you playing it with a singer.

Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech is a wide speared conception. I can understand it in many different ways. For example in my state, Estonia, the freedom is a very important for every human. At least to me it is seemed to be like that. But at school is a little bit sad story with freedom of speech. Some teachers are not used that student expresses her own strong opinion. When another way some teachers are just waitening it. As well as people can not speak along with state public topics and express their opinion. Therefore freedom of speech is debateable. Already from the old times Estonians have been fighting for their own freedom, because they do not like to allow to another country or state, foreign public and foreign language. Estonian public have been fighting with German, Russian and a lot of other states. Estonians has strongly tried to keep alive their own nationality, independent that Estonia is a very small state in

Nice, is one of the most beautiful cities you will ever see. The main place of interest is the promenade des Anglais, which is a celebrated promenade along the Mediterranean at Nice, France. It is a walkway along the sea, where you can enjoy amazing view and see many luxurious private ships. Another place worthy of visiting is the small street parallel to the promenade des Anglais; leading from Nice's downtown, beginning at Place Massena, and shadowing the promenade towards the airport for a short distance about 4 blocks. Spain Culture presentation

The Spanish culture is rich, colorful and mysterious. Its culture and lifestyle differs tremendously from that of the other European countries. Bull Running: Every year in July thousands go to Pamplona to start Spain's most famous bull-running fiesta to honor the saint San Fermin. Runners, mainly young men, gather at the bottom of Santo Domingo. Then, a number of fighting bulls are let out onto the streets. The bulls run along the narrow street to a bull ring. The runners dash along in front of the bulls, trying to avoid getting gored by their sharp horns. When the bulls finally reach the end of the street, they go into enclosure and are kept until that day they are killed in a bullfight. Flamenco: The Spanish culture is also closely related to the famous Flamenco style. This passionate form of dance first originated in Andalusia, is around 200 years old and was originally considered to be a gypsy dance. It is a colorful dance that is accompanied by the soulful

What i value most in a friend

Kaidi Kiidemaa 10E What I value most in a friend. My friends play very big role in my life.Me and my friends get along very well.We almost never fight. It's very important, that we can trust each other. I got my first friend in playschool. Her name is Anna. We started to get along very well and we did everything together. I think people make friends because they need someone to talk to and a friend who can play with. I have a lot in common with my friend Merit. We do a lot of thing together.Like..go shopping and study together. Also we like to watch comedy movies. And in summer we always go beach together to sunbathe and swim. She is very trusty, friendly and funny. Both of us enjoy dancing. We use to visit clubs very often and party there.

Advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city

buy clothes whenever they want. Secondly, in a city may happen that some very noisy people move next to you. They could disturb you and you may have to call to the police very often. It is very usual that people who live in a city can not get enough sleep, because their neighbors listens too loud music. Thirdly, in a city there is more stealing than in a country. People have to buy different kind of locks to protect their property. Also then you walk along the street you have to be very open-eyed, because of the pickpockets. They can steel your wallet and you do not notice anything. Living in a big city is fun, but sometimes it brings along some difficultys. Deal your problems and you will begin to enjoy living in a city as much as living in a country.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

KEILA KOOL NORTHERN LIGHTS Northern lights is a common name for the Aurora Borealis in the Northern Hemisphere. Where can we see the northern lights? The Northern Lights, as the name suggests, are especially related to the polar regions. They occur most frequently in a belt of radius 2500 km centered on the magnetic north pole. This so-called auroral zone extends over northern Scandinavia, Island, the southern tip of Greenland and continuing over northern Canada, Alaska and along the northern coast of Siberia. How often can you see the Northern Lights? In Troms and Finnmark, we can see the Northern Lights every other clear night, if not even more frequently. From southern Norway, only a few times a month while in central Europe hardly more than a few times a year and they have even been seen from the Mediterranean but only a few times each century. To the north of the auroral zone, the Northern Lights are a common sight, although they don't appear as

carefully, then it would end up the wrong way. The word „Leisure“ meaning changes in every 10 to 20 years. 50 years ago spare time was usually considered as that part of a day when people took a nap or children played with each other. Nowadays technological tools are killing off leisure time, especially for younger workers and students, who are working longer hours, taking fewer and shorter vacations but still bringing their cell phones and laptops along. Constantly in health magazines are headlines like „Too much stress“ or „Stress is killing people“. It is like that because the boundaries between work and play are blurred. Computing and communications technologies are destroying the idea of privacy and leisure. Nowadays some youngsters can say that their hobby is playing computer games or reading iBooks. Since computer came along teenager would rather spend their time on the computer or playstation than spending time outside

Artikkel Eestist

Estonian dialects are divided into two groups, Northern and Southern, usually associated with biggest cities of those regions Tallinn, the capital, in the north and Tartu, second largest city, in the south. In some of the southern regions, people speak Seto and Võro dialects, which are sometimes considered to be separate languages altogether. Dialects spoken in northern Estonia are more influenced by Swedish and Finnish, especially along the coast and on the islands. One of the oldest traditions in Estonia is The Song Festival. The Estonian Song Festival is one of the largest amateur choral events in the world. It is held every five years in July on the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The tradition of the song festival was born along with Estonian national awakening. The first national song festival was held in Tartu in the summer of 1869. One of the organisers of the first song festival was Johann Voldemar Jannsen

Recreational use of Pärnu river (essee)

in a way, that when the water level exceeds some point, the sewage water will be sent directly to the outflow or in some cases to some biopools. There are a lot of straight drainage systems, ditches and dykes near the forests and farmlands which used to be excessively damp. This contributes a lot to the flooding in the spring, because the water will reach the main river in a very short time. The flood plain grasslands located along the riverbanks are the typical example of plant communities formed as a result of the joint influence of river floods and human activities. They used to maintain the grassland through hay-making but now the endorsements are very low and owners don't take care of the land at the river bank. Some scientists think that letting the grasslands grow untouched is good for the biodiversity, but this is not the case here. For example eagles, which hunt on these grounds just abandon these areas and

St. Charles Church (Kaarli kirik)

the number of members. It was originally built in the 17th century, during the time of Swedish rule, when king Charles XI commissioned the construction of a church for the Estonian and Finnish population in 1670. At first it was wooden and not very large, built in a Greek cross style. Traditionally, the church was named after the king that built it. In 1710, right before the invasion of the Russian troops and during the Great Northern War, the church was burnt down along with many buildings surrounding the city fortification wall. The destruction led to decreasing of the congregation - some of the members left to join other neighbouring congregations. Discussions about re-establishing the place began around the middle of the 1800s. By the end of 1850s, money was being raised collectivley in order to build a larger and more durable church for the use of Estonians. The construction lasted from October 1862 to December 1870, the two towers

On the east there is another geographical unit called the Applachian Region after the range of mountains which run through the New England states north into Canada. Moving west, we come to the largest region of all, the Canadian Shield. This extends like a huge semi-circular ring around Hudson Bay. It is rugged, stony and with thin soil. Southeast of the Shield is the Valley of the St. Lawrence River which embraces the parts of Quebec and Ontario that lie along that river and Lakes Ontario and Eire. West of the Shield, we find two vertical bands of land that run from the Arctic southward into the US. This is called the Interior Plains Region. Next, the most westerly area is nearly all mountain, running from north to south along the Pacific coast. This is called the Cordilleran Region after the system of mountains which dominates the entire west coast of North America. The St. Lawrence river and the

Railgun

I wanted to learn more about how they're supposed to work and it is important because the research has done great leaps since 2009. Metaphorically it could be a crowbar used to break into a new military age in which the use of conventional guns changes drastically. And as a side effect new uses could be found in everyday life, not to mention the advancement in spacecraft related research. The purpose of this essay is to explain what a railgun is and how it works along with a little history and the recent advancements in railgun related science. 3 1. What a railgun basically is A railgun is an electrically powered electromagnetic projectile launcher and a large electric circuit, made up of three parts: a power source, a pair of parallel rails and a moving armature. Along the pair of parallel conducting rails a sliding armature is accelerated by the

economic power in the country. Canada's capital city is Ottawa, Ontario. Toronto and Montreal are the two largest cities in Canada. Central Canada is also the most heavily populated and industrialized area of Canada, particularly in the south around the Great Lakes and the St Lawrence River. The Great Lakes are the largest body of fresh water in the world. In order of size, they include Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario. These waterways along with the St Lawrence River are an important transportation route from the Atlantic Ocean to Canada's interior. Between Lake Eire and Lake Ontario, the Niagara River plunges over a rocky ledge and forms the famous Niagara Falls. In the far north we find the Hudson Bay Lowlands, which are cold, flat, and swampy, with very few cities. This area is home mainly to Inuit and other indigenous peoples who have lived there for centuries.

Unfortunately, my grandmother got seriously ill and has to stay with my family for this summer and because of that you cannot stay at my place. However, Mari has a spare room for whole summer where you can stay at the time while you are in Estonia. Mari is my friend from childhood and she is great, I’m sure you two will get along just well. Waiting forward to see you again, Tiiu
