Marta Sillaots Marta Sillaots, kodanikunimega Marta Adolfine Reichenbach, sündis 30. aprillil (uue kalendri järgi 12. mail) 1887. aastal Virumaal, Rakkes. Tema isa Heinrich Alexander Reichenbach oli postiametnik kohalikus postijaamas. 1892. aasta algul määrati isa postkontori ülemaks Loode- Venemaale, samal aastal tuldi Eestisse tagasi. The Holiday Habits of Estonians The aim of the report is to find out how Estonian people spend their holidays. It is based on the interviews with people in different ages. How many trips and where The interviews revealed that most people have travelled in Estonian neighbour countries - Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Russia. The majority of young people told that they went to Finland or Sweden, because these kind of trips are cheap. People travel approximately 1-3 times a year. The older people surveyed said that they want to travel more, but their health or money does not allow that. The most popular destinatios is Egypt. The average length of trips is 3-7 days. What kind of transport and accomodation people use. With whom they travel. The majority of young people said that they often use a bus or thumb lift. Older people said that they prefer a comfort, so they use a plane and they stay in a hotel.

My dream home My dream home would be a beautiful two-storey detached house in a small town. The house is surrounded by a nice garden full of gorgeous plants and a lot of types of flowers. I would also hire a gardener, so I can have time for my other duties. There are many spacious rooms in my house that are in well-lit and pastel tones. There are a living room, a kitchen and lightly coloured guest room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is also a living room, two nurseries, a toilet and a study with a bookshelf that covers the entire wall. I would hang pictures of my travelles on the walls, so it's easier to talk about my trips to my friends and family. As I'm the quiet type I would like to have the house in the suburbs. Before i went to trip, i read a book about Turkey people and culture, i got a lots of information from there. I went there last summer in July. Before packing i made a list of things i take with me to trip. It´s important not to over pack. The weather in July the was amazing and sea water was so blue and warm. I was visiting the resort city called Kemer. Our hotel was near to sea and great shopping places so it was great. Also we visited a lots of sigthseeings and went to many boat trips. As i said the shopping was great so i bought a lots of differents souvenirs for myself and for my family. Ofcourse there were some intresting incidents, as you now turcish people are very opened and friendly so they were very open to communication. So my trip to Turkey was sortly like that. hundreds of old books. There would be a huge section only for romantic novels and books about love stories. The lessons would start at 9am. In my ideal school I'd have to study the average level of general subjects. There would also be certain amount of specialty studies, which I could be able to choose for myself. There wouldn't be too much homework, because the students would manage to finish their tasks in class. After the lessons students could go on free bus trips to anywhere in Estonia. They could visit different museums and churches or just see the beauty of our nature. That would be a great get-away from our everyday life! Let's not forget about the rules! Although I would like to have some more freedom like students have in Britain with choosing the subjects exactly to their liking, I would not be fond of the facts that compulsory education lasts 11 years and all of the students must wear school uniforms.
