Everyone has the right to the higher education, but for some people it`s more difficult than to the others. To leave your parents` home for the first time brings a lot of unexpected outgoings. A book worth reading A year ago I managed to find time to read an extremely profound book entitled The Fault in Our Stars. This tragic, yet realistic drama was written by John Green, a famous author of young-adult fiction, and it provides a valuable insight into the life of children fighting with cancer. The Fault in Our Stars is about a teenage girl Hazel, who has stage 4 thyroid cancer. Hazel’s daily routine contains taking meds, reading books and taking part of the support group meetings for cancer- fighters. In the support group she meets an extraordinarily handsome boy Augustus, who, full of metaphores and mystery, catches Hazel’s attention immediately. As the plot evolves, these two spectacularily appalling figures get close and share unique experiences. By his thirteenth film, Caught in the Rain (1914), Chaplin began to direct his own films. Chaplin now slowed the pace of his films, reduced the number of visual jokes but increased the time spent on each one. Chaplin placed the emphasis on the character rather than slapstick events. The themes of his films became more serious and reflected his childhood experiences of poverty, hunger and loneliness. Chaplin's work revolutionized film comedy and turned it into an art form. As a paradigm or worldview, constructivism (as a learning theory) states that learning is an active, contextualized process of constructing knowledge rather than acquiring it. Knowledge is constructed based on personal experiences and hypotheses of the environment. Learners continuously test these hypotheses through social negotiation. Each person has a different interpretation and construction of knowledge process. How to find work you love Ted Talks, Scott Dinsmore His point is that if you want to find work you love, you must understand yourself, your unique strengths (the things you want to do, even if your not getting paid) and become a self-expert, to know what you are looking for in a job and what success means to you. You must also figure out what are your values and analyze your experiences. Once you have this framework together, you can start to identify the things that you want in your life and work. Do the impossible and push your limits. I think that Scott Dinsmore thinks in the right direction. If you want to be happy with your life you must find work that you love. And I know that the most difficult `'thing'' for peole is to actually think, think what they are, what they want and what makes THEM them. I think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices.
Courses that should be of particular relevance to the present position include computer engineering, operation systems, network administration and database management. I have learnt about the latest technology in these areas, and I have confidence that I can self-learn continuously to keep up with the rapid development in this field. Other than my studies, I have been earnestly seeking for opportunities to gain understanding of my potential and the world around me. One of these experiences that I treasured was a study tour to Taiwan I made last year, in which I had to compete with 120 candidates to become one of the 40 participants in the tour. We visited the Legislative Council of Taiwan and met the vice president of the Council to understand the issues of their society. We also visited government departments and met the famous economist, Woo Jia Ching. From this tour, I have gained much insight about the Taiwan society
William Blake William Blake was borned in 1757 and died in 1827. He was an English poet, painter, and printmaker. He was the third of seven children.
