Sports Centre

Sports Centre Jyri sport centre is a modern building with up to date technology. The sports centre includes a gym, budo hall, dance hall, swimming pool and a room where you can play pall games. I think Jyri sports centre has more advantages than disadvantages. I am rather optimistic and think it is such a privilege that we have sports centre in jyri. Thanks to the sports centre there is many hobbies you can choose from. You can learn different martial arts, different dances, basketball, football and table tennis. you can take swimming lessons and much more. When you just want to take a time out you can take a steam bath, a regular sauna or just relax in a bubble bath. To me jyri sports centre has only one disadvantage. That you have to pay for these things which the sports centre includes. I find this as a disadvantage because in these hard

The Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn

The Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn is an exceptionally complete and well-preserved medieval northern European trading city on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The city developed as a significant centre of the Hanseatic League during the major period of activity of this great trading organization in the 13th-16th centuries. The combination of the upper town on the high limestone hill and the lower town at its foot with many church spires forms an expressive skyline that is visible from a great distance both from land and sea. The upper town (Toompea) with the castle and the cathedral has always been the administrative centre of the country, whereas the lower town preserves to a remarkable

From 2010 to 2015, the percentage of female students, who chose one of these two training programs, stayed at 45%. The reason for the lack of shift might be that the interests of the young women, who are acquiring education and practicing yoga or Pilates, have not changed. Male students

London - The City and Beyond

The statue of a bronze dragon on Fleet Street is the entrance to the City of London. This is where the Romans founded Londinium almost two thousand years ago. The City covers about 2,6 square km (1 square mile) and is often called the Square Mile. Today, the City of London is one of the world's most important business and financial centres, with over 500 banks. Over 400 000 people work within the Square Mile during weekdays and it is a crowded and noisy place. The Barbican Centre is a very big complex of buildings, towers, garages and walkways. It was built in the 70s and most Londoners don't like the way it looks. It is the largest performing arts centre in Europe and home to two symphony orchestras, and art gallery and the amazing Museum of London. Fleet Street once was a road between the City and Westminster. Then it became the centre of publishing and newspaper business for centuries. The Daily Courant was the first newspaper published there.

building with a facade representing classical styles and opening onto Castle Square; and the building of the Riigikogu, which originates from the time of the First Republic of Estonia and is hidden behind the walls of the castle Time has been generous to Toompea castle. The well-protected fortress has been almost impregnable. It has been spared big fires and, even more importantly, the palace has always had its masters. Being a centre of power also meant that the best master builders and architects of their time worked here. In the second decade of the last century the Estonians had, for the first time in their history, the opportunity to build up a state of their own. By that time, the image of Toompea as a centre of power was so deeply rooted in the people that the voices of those who considered it a stronghold of foreign landlords remained in a small minority. With the construction of the Riigikogu building

Inglise keelne report supermarketitest

The purpose of this report is to describe and give an assesment of a supermarket named Selver which is part of a large national chain. Convenience and Comfort To begin with there are a lot of different sections for example a meat counter, a bakery and a cosmetics counter. So you can save a lot of time because you can do all your shopping in one place. Furthermore the way the shelves are arranged makes it easy to find what you want. However Selver supermarkets are quite far from the town centre, and sometimes it may be hard to find a parking space. Prices You can save a lot of money by buying their own brand of goods. In addition they have many extremely cheap special offers. Although their normal prices are not cheaper than the prices at other supermarkets. Recommendation All in all I think that Selver is a good place to do your shopping because you do not have to go to ten different shops because you get almost everything what you want from Selver and the prices are affordable

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities?

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities? Is the air in our cities clean? Unfortunately does not seem like it. Air is getting more polluted every day and we are constantly breathing that air. We need to do something fast before it is too late. Firstly, there is too much traffic in the city centre and cars emit bad fumes. A good idea would be to introduce parking and riding schemes. In this way there will be fewer cars in the city centre and in longer perspective air will get a lot cleaner. Another problem are factories polluting the air. There are so many factories that there is always smoke covering the city. It would help if we could create industrial parks. In this way less smoke will cover the city. My home town of Valga

· The Roman-Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit (Pühavaimu kirik) was built 1907 and unlike other churches, has no tower as the Tzar did not give permission to build it. · Right by the market square, there is a remarkable sample of an historic style church: The Apostolic Orthodox Issidor main church with it´s 5 towers. It is one of the four representative apostolic orthodox churches in Estonia. · Jaani church in the town centre represents neo-classical style and is the only oval-planning church in Estonia. The local organ is among the best organs in Europe and every midday and midnight, the bells of Jaani church play a melody composed especially for Valga. · The wooden town hall, dating from 1865, represents the late-classical era and is a place that most tourist will want to visit, as it houses the local Tourism Information Centre.
