Drugs and how they affect your health.

sleepy, less stressed out, or like their head is stuffed. Some people may use these drugs illegally to slow themselves down and help bring on sleep - especially after using various kinds of stimulants. (See below.) High - A high is the feeling that drug users want to get when they take drugs. There are many types of highs, including a very happy or spacey feeling or a feeling that a person has special powers, such as the ability to fly or to see into the future. Inhalant - An inhalant, such as glue or gasoline, is sniffed or "huffed" to give the user an immediate rush. Inhalants produce a quick feeling of being drunk - followed by sleepiness, staggering, dizziness, and confusion. Narcotic - A narcotic dulls the body's senses (leaving a person less aware and alert and feeling carefree) and relieves pain. Narcotics can cause a person to sleep, fall into a stupor, have convulsions, and even slip into a coma

Topic - Health

Broadly speaking, the term refers to the fields of surgery, clinical medicine and medical research. Medical care consists of three main elements: 1) the diagnosis 2) the treatment of disease 3) the promotion of health and prevention of disease. First of all, every health problem requires a diagnosis. To identify the disease, doctors use tools and devices and ask the patients about their previous illnesses. Samples of blood and urine are sent to laboratories for analysis to determine the disease. Ultrasound scanners, X-ray machines etc. are used by doctors for necessary information for treatment. People usually recover from minor illnesses without special treatment. In serious cases a doctor may prescribe drugs, surgery or other treatment. In case of surgery a patient must go to the hospital where they receive around-the-clockcare from doctors, nurses and other skilled workers

Steve Krug-Dont Make Me Think 2014

Ifwewentroundthemoonitwouldnotmakeapennyworthofdifferencetome ortomywork.” I find that the most valuable contributions I make to each project always come from keeping just a few key usability principles in mind. I think there’s a lot more leverage for most people in understanding these principles than in another laundry list of specific do’s and don’ts. I’ve tried to boil down the few things I think everybody involved in design should know about usability. Not present at time of photo Just so you don’t waste your time looking for them, here are a few things you won’t find in this book: Hard and fast usability rules.I’ve been at this for a long time, long enough to know that there is no one “right” answer to most usability questions. Design is a complicated process and the real answer to most of the questions people ask me is “It depends.” But I do think that there

Libraries

Libraries. We know a lot of things thanks to books, but we do not know exactly when and where they originated, and what should be considered the first book in the world. Ancient document, written on parchment, papyri and vellum can hardly be qualified as books the way we understand the word today. Centuries went before paper replaced parchment and papyri. In the 15 th century Johann Gutenberg invented a mechanical process of duplicating texts, which we today call book printing. The first book was printed between 1444 and 1446, so these years can be considered as the beginning years of book printing. His most important preserved printings are the 40 copies of the Bible. By the end of the 15 th century there were about 1000 print-shops in Europe already. The oldest Estonian book dates back to 1535. Libraries form a vital part of education. They make available-through books, films, recordings and other media- knowledge that h
