Water Imagine, it is a hot summer’s day, you are walking down the street, the sun is burning your skin, you have been walking quite a while now and suddenly, you feel you are thirsty. So what would you do …. Probably you go to the nearest store down the street and buy a bottle of water; a bubbly water, a vitamin water, a water from the fridge, there is so many variety of waters and still you have something to complain about how the water is to expensive how the day is too hot, how the water is too cold
Weather forecast. Millions of people tune into the weather forecast each evening on television. Most of them imagine that the presenter does little more than arrive at the studio a few minutes before the broadcast, read the weather, and then go home. In fact, this image is far from the truth. The two-minute bulletin which we all rely on when we need to know tomorrow's weather is the result of a hard day's work by the presenter, who is actually a highly-qualified meteorologist. Every morning after arriving at the TV studios, the first task of the day is to collect the latest
In my opinion music is a real art, not only a sound and lyrics. It makes people want to sing or dance. It makes us feel happy, sad, inspired or uplifted. Music influences our mood in all kinds of infinite ways. Music is outlet for my feelings. I can't find one song that doesn't remind me someone or something i've been went through. Music is all around me and influences my feelings and sometimes my opinions as well. It brings me up when I'm down and it also brings a smile on my face. I can't imagine a life in silence without radio, music videos and probably without movies either because a movie without music is an authentic. Life is not the same without it. In conclusion I can't imagine a world without music, but in fact it is impossible to imagine things that are possible. There will always be music in the world, so there is no way to imagine what it would be without it.
Imagination will make us infinite Can you imagine life without imagination? Now i know that sounds like a silly question, but really think about it. What if we didn’t have the ability to mentally time travel and we were froced to live and think in the present moment at all times? To be perfectly honest, life couldn’t exist this way. You see imagination at its core is the beginning of all creation. Everything that we see, everything that we touch, all came from someones thought. Their imagination running wild
The magic of London Close you eyes and imagine you are in a huge and comfy city. In front of you there are huge market street. There are not only shops. When you walk a litte bit around there you can find very beatiful and huge parks. Can you guess where you are? You're in London, of course, the most fabolous city in the world. What makes London such a special place? It's the friendly environment and the many diffrent cultural peole who live there. Just imagine you can meet one street at least five different culture peoples. What do to in London when you are tourist? There are many intresting places. Every human can find something intresting. There are many art galleries, museums and parks. I love London huge Ferris Wheel that named London Eye.There are also many street performes. They are actually pretty funny. My favorite tourist atraction is street markets because there are hugh variety of clohtes
I think that the main reason so many like it, is because it's unpredictable and understable. In addition it's not very difficult to read. But I had to read the novel from laptop and that made my eyes hurt, so that really didn't work for me. Novel has been classified as a classic love story. That is one big reason why I loved this book. I love those classic love stories, that are just so good and make me think along. I haven't seen the movie, so that gave me free hands to imagine the story like I would like. It's not only me who can imagine the people and places in my mind, I think that's the reason too why so many like that novel. And the characters are also very different and surprising. For ending I would like to recommend this book to everyone because it's interesting, unpredictable and just amazing. I was really surprised when I reached in the middle of the book and started thinking that it's really good novel. I'm really glad that I choosed this novel.
way up the career ladder. Usualy they have studied very hard in school, to get to where they want to be. Most of them have gotten to where they want to be. Of course there are people who have gotten to important positions in life thanks to luck and many of them have had a lot of good ideas or have the imprtant knowledge, but majority of people are not that talentes so they have to work hard in life. I belive that if you set lifegoals to yourselt and imagine yourself completing those goals, you have the morale and motivation to actually complete those goal. You just have to think what you want, imagine that you have what you want, and there is a great chance that you will get what you want. Martin Ilsin 11A
Losses of our life Losing is an everyday phenomenon, whether you lose a sock, a pen or your keys, but aswell things, people tend to get lost too. Some are found and alive, but some are not, and it´s a tragedy. I can´t imagine losing a beloved one, it would be awful, but so many of us have to face this terrible situation, where you don´t know if the person is safe and alright. As always, there are situations where the person doesn´t want to be found, or where she/he disappears without a trace. The reasons of disappearing are very variable, from criminal cases, trafficking in human beings, getting recruited as prostitutes to very hidden and deeply personal matters.

It was Nokia 3310 (I can bet my life on it, that everyone in this class knows what Nokia 3310 looks like). It is thick and heavy as a rock, but I was so happy when I got it, because many years ago it was a really new model, a really new. When I got my second cell phone, I thought again that wow, it is so new and unique, I have a prettier phone than my friends do. Some months later, my friends got the same phone, only newer version of it. You can't imagine, how disappointed I was when I realized that technology develops sooooo fast and we just can't always keep up with the times. When I think about the future and what developments are coming I just hardly can imagine what may come. Smartphones are in same level as cheaper laptops. Every month there is something really new and better applications and improvements for every new car or phone. Maybe in future we can fly with the cars, travel to space very cheap and use our house
Events take place these days in United States and Genovia. My favorite character is the queen because she is youthful, calm and understanding. I recommend it, because if Main characters: you read that book, then you *MiaThermopolis can imagine and feel simply that you are part of all events. This book suit all, but especially teens.
I'm not from a country of fortune and fame, I'm just from a group that thinks it's a game. I'm not from a place of emotional flow, But more from a place where nothing will show. I am from the seaside, I'm waiting for tide, The amount of their feelings that people will hide. I am from a country with a colorful past, "How long?" they said, "How long will it last?" Dark clouds sent by gods as they form in the sky, Like millions of people on the streets walking by. Now, imagine that people would become extinct, Their knowledge, their data all lost in a blink. But maybe our lives are not what they seem, Maybe, just maybe, it's all just a dream.
techniques. The structure took more than two years to complete. Each one of the about 12,000 iron pieces were designed separately to give them exactly the shape needed. All pieces were prefabricated and fit together using approx. 7 million nails. Inaugurate March 31, 1889, the Eiffel Tower would be the tallest structure in the world until the completion of the Chrysler Building in 1930.Eiffel Tower is 990 feet tall.No Parisian imagine Paris without Eiffel Tower, in fact it has become the symbol of the City of Light.
Firstly, the figure which I ordered was told to be delivered within ten days. But I received it after three weeks and due to that, I could not hand it to my friend in time. Furthermore, there was a crack on one side of the figure; so as a consequence, it also did not look the same anymore because of it. And the gold plaque, where you engraved my message was completely wrong. That is why I could not gift it to my friend after all. As you can imagine already, I am quite disappointed about your company. I also feel that I have certain rights to receive a refund in addition to an apology from your company manager. I look forward to recieiving a quick reply. Yours faithfully, Rainar Kaegas
I don't remember when I last used subtitles when watching movies, just because I felt that it would also improve my English skills. I also have many friends abroad and I use English to communicate with them almost daily. I feel like English is around me all the time and I just cannot get enough of it. Right now, when I think back on the time when mathematics was the most important subject for me and how the teachers kept pushing it on, I actually laugh, because I would not imagine myself studying something related to that. How do I imagine my future in English? That is the question I would like to know the answer to myself as well. I get asked very often if I will be a teacher or a translator in the future and I always answer no, because those two professions are not the ones I see my future in. One of my former teachers said that I should not worry about my future, because having a degree in English actually gives plus points everywhere you go
leaves. Then, I was served a really tasteless steak. It was tough and chewy. I called the waiter to bring me new steak. After waiting, the waiter finally came and gave me a new steak. To my astonishment, it was as bad as the first one. As if that was not bad enough, when I decided to eat my apple pie, I found out that it was stale and dry. Once again, I called waiter, but he claimed that it had been freshly made that morning. As you can imagine, I was extremely upset by the treatment I received and I will certainly not visit your restaurant again. I hope that in future you will take care of these mistakes in order to prevent them Yours faithfully, Name
Many people who live in Estonia are dreaming of a home in a warmer place. There are many reasons why I would not want to live there. One reason is that the weather stays excactly the same every day but in Estonia we have different seasons. Furthermore why I like living in Estonia is that the nature is amazing and if I am very tired I could just go 10 kilometers out of the city and I would be in pure nature, but in China it would be impossible. I am happy about my life in Estonia. I cannot imagine a better place to live. I am never going to move a different country to live because I love Estonia and this is the perfect place I would want to live.
INKA ISESEISEV TÖÖ ARE WOMEN BETTER PARENTS THAN MALE ? I think that it is hard to tell who is better parent mum or dad . I have no idea who is the better parent but a parent should give a child everything what a child needs to survive . My father left us when we were little . I have lived all my life with my mum . Sometimes it is hard but I don 't even imagine what life I would have if I should live with my dad . Because I don 't trust him . He was very violent to my mum . He is never there If I need him . My father should pay us alimony every month . He did it few months but now he has not sent us the alimony abot three months . Everytime when he came to our village , he didn 't came to visit us or to ask how we live . I have been thinking about him lately . Just wanna know how is he , is everyting OK and just wanna see him
Computer is Man's Best Friend Nowadays computers have a big part in our everyday life. It is difficult to imagine our lives without them. Unfortunately the development of technology has changed people's priorities too much. Instead of being with their loved ones, people spend more and more time in front of the computer. Has computer really become man's new best friend? On the one hand, computer can be really useful in many circumstances. For example, thanks to computers people can do their job more easily and faster, search information they
Dear Kaisa, 09.10.2011 Hello! How is it going in Estonia? If you remember I'm in Canada and that is why I'm writing you. I miss you and all classmates. Tell hey them from me. The School where I am studying is Académie Ste. Cécile International School. I can take music, drama and languages courses. That is really interesting and I like here. All the classmates are really friendly and understanding. The family where I am living with is big. There is a mother and father, two sons and one daughter. They are really nice. I get along with their daughter whose name is Carlis. My English is better than before and I am more confident. This is a positive experience. I hope you are okay and I hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes, Mari Mets
The gerund form -ing The gerund form -ing is used: After some main verbs. (admit, appreciate, consider, delay, deny, detest, dislike, enjoy, escape, face, feel like, finish, forgive, give up, imagine, involve, mention, mind, miss, postpone, practise, prefer, put off, recommend, resent, risk, suggest, understand) I do not recommend going to that restaurant. After an adjective, verb or noun followed by a preposition. She is really good at swimming. He apologised to arriving late. I quite like the thought of working in a travel agency. In some fixed expressions I can not bear listening to people who complain.
with a hopeful eye on the future than to have such a long empty difficult life though eternity. To begin with ,if most of us one day have the opportunity to extend our lives indefinitely, how will that change the dynamics of society and culture? A typical person living to 80 years of age goes through several dramatic changes in his lifetime: his opinions and attitudes change, his interests, his friends, his career, sometimes even how he remembers the past. Imagine how much change would take place in a thousand years of life! We wouldn’t be a shadow of the persons we once were. The idea of living forever remains locked to science-fiction. I believe there are many different aspects to take into consideration . Secondly let’s have a look at the advantages. I think that one key benefit to being around forever would be the experience gained during this eternity. Anything and everything on our list of "to-do"
Pros and Cons of Technology Today we are so used to live surrounded by technology. We could not imagine our lives without it. But what are the pros and cons of technology? Time is money. Of course those wonderful inventions can save our time and nowadays when the pace of life is very fast, it is so important. In my opinion the communications technology is the most valuable, because it makes possible to resque people who need help. A development of transport is also important in this field. But the fact is that people are getting lazy. Machines do all the work for the people. We just sit and
Has the Growth of Technology Improved People's Lives? It is known that technology was created to be useful for people. Nowadays there are different opinions whether technology has made our life better or it is the worst achievement of the human being. On the one hand, technology makes our life easier and it saves our time. Just imagine, if machinery had not been invented, we would spend whole days on doing our house work. Moreover, as we live in the information society, collecting data is essential for us. It is also more comfortable to search for information without having to leaf through an encyclopedia and using a contemporary computer instead.. On the other hand, up-to-date technology may replace human's labour. We entrust technology a lot of duties, so that it can have harmful consequences
I strongly disagree. First of all, there is so many countries , which have their own language. I do not see a problem talking in multiple languages. It only helps us develop and communicate with so many other language speaking people. Intercourse is what connects us, but to communicate with others we need to understand one another. What is more, we do not need to be so similar. Speaking some other language makes us more intriguing. Foreign languages are like crayons, all in different colours. Imagine if all the crayons would be in the same colour. If we paint a picture, we need a variety of colours to make the picture interesting. That is why we need to learn not only English, but many others languages too. Of course, there are people who argue that studying English is the only foreign language worth learning. Because it would unite us and make the communicating easier. But things do not have to be easy in life.
Fast Development of modern technology- a blessing or a curse? Science and technology have brought about tremendous changes in people's lives. Scientific research continues to explore the fields that people previously undreamed of. Fifty years ago, few people could even imagine things like computers, lasers and space-scuttles. Now all these newly invented technologies are benefiting people all over the world. In a word, advanced science and technology has made man master of the globe. As is known to all, each coin has two sides. When we are enjoying the remarkable wonders which science and technology has brought us, we are suffering at the same time from a lot of troubles. For example, environmental
Too many people spend too much time playing games and sports Most of the people are not able to imagine their own world without either games or sports. Some say that people nowadays spend too much time playing games and sports. It is my opinion that it is important to do sports and playing games is developing. First of all, there aren’t too many people who do sports, i’d say too less. Most people I know enjoy staying indoors. I think everyone should take part in sports in order to have healthy body and a healthy mind. Secondly, playing computer games is rather good than bad
They think it is boring and parents work really hard to make them study. Also, a lot of students think that the majority of the subjects they are learning are pointless. But actually none of those are pointless and every thing has a reason. In addition to that, if students could choose the subjects themselves, then some classes would be really empty. For example, a lot of students do not like maths or reading. Math develops logic and then we could imagine how many people would be without logical thinking. And reading books enriches vocabulary, so if people do not read books at all, their vocabulary would be quite small. On the other hand, learning different things like history and bilogy expand people's knowledge greatly. With learning so many different things one's brain and memory develops and that makes a person intelligent. In my opinion, students have to learn different subjects, even those that they find boring and
Theatre: Theatre as compared to film and literature Im going to compare theatre to film and literature. There are some seally big differences between thatre and film or literature. Firstly the main difference between literature and theatre is that if you read a book, you have to imagine the whole image in your head and thus everybody sees one thing differently, but in theatre you have a real live picture in front of you. Also in books the feelings, thoughts and emotions are described better than in theatre performances. Secondly, in theatre performances you can only see one stage and one place but in movies the situations are depicted in various places, for example on streets and other places, which can not be depicted on a stage so easily.

Ernest Hemingway once said that at least one Estonian can be found in every part of the world. Many of us have emigrated to the US, Canada or Australia. Some of them came back after the restauration of the independence in 1991. Estonia is a quite young country with painful history but I think we've been strong and kept our heads up. We may have a little country but it doesn't mean that the people are small too. The Estonians are more self-confident than you can ever imagine. We have many talented people, especially athletes like Markko Märtin, Marko Asmer, Kaia Kanepi, Andrus Veerpalu and Mart Poom. We love sports and working out is a part of our lives, that's why you don't see almost any overweight people in the streets. We are reputed to be quite stubborn, I don't think that's true about our stereotype. I do think that we're too reserved. We're too tense all the time and don't really go with it when somebody is trying to make us laugh
My Life Without the Internet The Internet is the latest in a series of technological breakthroughs in interpersonal communication, following the telegraph, telephone, radio, and television. The humanity of today wouldn't imagine the life without the internet anymore. Internet is now dominating in the communication between republics too. The evidence suggests that the Internet has blended into the rhythms of everyday life: the Internet is used at work, in schools, in universities, and hospitals etc. It is used for a wide variety of purposes, such as surfing for information, working, playing online games, and just chatting. The
with friends, buying things and reading interesting articles or newspapers. Even in a small country like Estonia almost in every home there is at least one computer or even more. Firstly, nowadays almost every indoor vocation requires computer knowledge because all paperwork is done with a computer. Work with computer is comfortable and much easier. People are dedicated to computers. They can make researches, find information and cannot even imagine their everyday life without computers. Secondly, in society 15-25-year-old youngsters use computers the most. Mostly they use these for messaging, playing games, commenting pictures and listening to music and watching films. It is common to talk with friends in messenger after the school and usually it takes a lot of time. This may lead to computer addiction. Some children even do not want to do their homework, because they become lazy. Luckily not all people are so dependent on computers
TV It is difficult to imagine our life without TV, radio, cinema and theatre.TV is a great force in the world. It enriches1 our intellect, gives us opportunities to see the best actors and performances, to hear the latest news, to listen to political discussions. TV gives wonderful possibilities for education and helps us to relax after a day's work. There is a considerable variety of programs, and we can choose what we want to see. TV brings the world into our living room. We can learn more of other countries, customs, occupations, opinions, problems -- you can see a programme which enjoy you most: current events, documentaries, sport and educational programmes, films, plays, the arts, news, variety shows, etc. You always decide which programme is the most exciting, valuable, informative or amusing and is worth seeing. Some people think that it is a waste of time watching TV. Besides, it leads, as they say, to poor health through ...
The truth pushes our world forward 1. Truth has helped us to study and learn more about our world, not like religion and bible have done. Religion did not let science to evolve, but thanks to the sciences like Galileo Galilei science evolved because he was brave enough to say that earth is not the centre of the world. 2. Truth always comes out, Crusade wars began because of Turks conquered the holy lands and mistreated the Christians not because Christians wanted to increase their religion that happened later after the Crusade wars. 3. The Bible put humans to believe that we all are Childs of Adam and Eve but in fact humans evolved from apes and the truth helped the science to find the real origin of people. 4. Many people say that they have seen UFO-s but most of us do not believe them and the truth of alien existence may hid...

message was engraved was scratched and silver but it should have been golden, like it was written in the advertisement. Thirdly, it was mentioned that each figure comes on a wooden stand but mine was on a plastic stand and I noticed some trace of glue, this seemed quite careless. Furthermore, it was wrapped up very carelessly and there were many little pieces in the box. They were very dangerous for children. The beautiful China Figure turned out to be an awful cracked figure. As you can imagine, I am very disappointed. I didn't expect to be betrayed by your company and now I feel I am entitled to a refund in addition to an apology for the inconvenience caused. I look forward to receiving a prompt reply. Yours faithfully, Kätlin P.
So he has got many stories to tell from buying a monkey to the storm in the middle of Atlantic. If you are a fisher you surely will have a spectacular life. I guess they get paid quite well too, mostly depending on luck. Sometimes happens that you are said to catch sprat but you get herring and the other way. Being a fisher means that you can't see your family too often, you can get seasick, what's really bad, because imagine that you are travelling across the Atlantic and you puke after each meal. A sure disadvantage is your catch, because your payment depends on how much you catch. If you lack of luck, then I advise you to not become a fisher. Also that job is dangerous, too. You'll never know when a sudden storm can start and the weather forecast is not too reliable. But still, I think that it's an exciting job.
Wonders of the modern world I think that wonders of the modern world are scientific and technological achievements, not buildings anymore, like they were believed to be in the Ancient World. In my opinion the most important so called wonder of the modern world is Internet. It's just because it is so widely used in all over the world. It makes possible to do so many things, of what humankind half a century ago couldn't even dream of. It's only a matter of time, when there will be even more interactivity between the user and the website, like for example allowing us to give instructions to the website using speech. Second wonder in modern world would be space travel. Since Neil Armstrong stepped out of his space capsule onto the surface of the moon in 1969, there have been many space probes to several different planets and even to the sun. So far, there has not been found any intelligent life in...
Advantages and disadvantages of advertising Nowdays advertising is a huge part of our everyday life. We probably could not even imagine a life without commercials on TV, big posters and neon screens on streets and advertisments in newspapers and magazines. But like everything else in this world, advertising also has it is advantages and disadvantages. Starting with advantages the biggest plus is probably that advertising can inform people about different products and services, their utilities, cost and other requirement. Also, advertisements about non-commercial issues like AIDS can help in educating people and

millest räägib? oma arvamus miks valisin? kokkuvõte Hello, my name is Raili and I’m talking to you about how a 2-minute walk may counter the harms of sitting. I read an article about this topic in New York Times. Everyone knows something about the risks of sitting behind a desk all day without any physical activity, or even if not, they can imagine it’s not really healthy for you. Well the researchers at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City have conducted a survey in order to find out if only by walking two minutes every hour can you reduce the risk of premature death? The answer is yes, you can lower your risk of dying by one third by only taking a two minute break every hour to go for a walk. It doesn’t have to be outside or anything, you can do it even at your office.
How has the nature of fame changed? Imagine two celebrities standing in front of you: Audrey Hepburn and Kim Kardashian? Is there anything different in the way they are or how they became famous? It’s no surprise that the way celebrities present themselves has changed immeasurably since the Golden Age of Hollywood. Back in the day, celebrities were presented as incomparably glamorous, flawless beings, closer to gods than humans. Fame was controlled not by the famous and certainly not by the audience, but by the owners of the media
The effects of mobile phones on our lives Can you imagine our comfortable life without mobile phones? Wherever we go, we can see someone talking with their mobile phone. Mobile phones have become an indispensable part of our everyday life. Yet, have the changes they brought about really been for the better? To begin with, the benefits of mobile phones cannot be denied. On the one hand mobile phones are extremely useful communication tool. Mobile phones can help us wherever we need it
stronger and immune to drugs, because people are using too much medicaments and pathogens are becoming more familiar with them. The biggest problem with advanced medicine is that people are counting too much on it and do not take care of themselves anymore. While the pros of medical development are understood, it still has a lot of disadvantages. My own opinion is that even if the evolution seems initially harmless and life-saving, it has its own demerits that people cannot even imagine. By letting the medicine evolve, we are taking a major step toward ignorance.
think, that when I don't have really expensive technique, then it's impossible to get good photo. I am good example to prove, that it isn't like that. I have small red digital camera. I have learned the programs and now it's easy to use it. It all depends on photographer. My favorites are nature photographs. When the weather is sunny and nice, then I'm often outside spending time with my camera. After I started photographing, I see situations and moments and I immediately imagine them on photos. I really love photographing sky, sunset, bugs, flowers and animals. In my opinion, photographers task is to get message from nature and show it to the people. I publish my photos on the internet. It's not because I want to be famous. It's just really good to have a feedback. Criticism is always good thing. Smart photographer learns from mistakes. Of course photographer don't have to change just because to please others
Of course it is not the only negative thing, actually even students rely too much on computers, they copy their homework from the internet and find the answers just googling around in the web, which does not let them think by themselves and they do not have to search for the needed information all around textbooks, like they actually are supposed to.
