Java algajatele

Üldkuju: try{ //kood, nt tehe vms } catch(Exception e){ System.out.println(e.getMessage()); } Kui me kood tekitab vea, liigub seesama viga catch bloki, kus antakse põhimõtteliselt sellele nimi, et sellega saaks teha soovitud toiminguid. Antud juhul nimetame Exceptioni ehk erandi (=vea) e-ks ja väljastame java meetodiga probleemi. 1/0 näide try catch blokiga:

The pros and cons of working as a fisherman

Essay The pros and cons of working as a fisherman There are many advantages and disadvantages of being a fisherman. I'll start with advantages. First of all, you can eat all the fish you can and there will be PLENTY in reserve. Plenty means that a usual catch is about 3 tons of sprats. Of course you'll get sick of fish, when breakfast, supper and dinner all are mere fish. But still, it's an advantage. In my opinion, the biggest advantage of being a fisherman is that you can travel a lot. My grandpa was a fisherman and he has been to North America, Africa, Siberia (not with the train) and Iran and most European countries. So he has got many stories to tell from buying a monkey to the storm in the middle of Atlantic

A Disaster in Mellowtown

always, but suddenly the truck started to make strange noise and he could not control it any more. Then he crashed. As a result the crates, where the chickens were held, went to pieces and chickens broke free. At the moment there is a real chaos in the middle on Mellowtown, chickens everywhere and pieces of the crates also. And what's worst, as there is worldwide bird flu epidemic, people are frightened maybe some of the chickens are diseased and that they could catch the infection. All the citizens look shocked. I asked local police officer Arthur Brown to comment what had happened. He said it is early to answer. He is still investigating, but he added that it seems that the farmer had been careless, because the load wasn't secured properly. Officer Brown said that the main priority at the moment is to clean up the mess and to catch all the chickens before they make more damage.

Common Kingfisher - Jäälind

Only mother feeds the birds, although father is always nearby. After breeding time the relationship between parents ends and they break up. Common Kingfisher eats mostly fish, whose length does not exceed 6cm. It also eats bugs and other spinelesses, especially dragonfly babys. Very rarely it also eats tiny frogs. Common Kingfighter gets its food as far as 1km from nest. When hunting for food, Common Kingfisher often sits still moveless over the water and monitors the catch. When the catch is near, Kingfisher goes for it. When it spots the catch, it dives into water, grabs the fish and carries it to the nest or goes to hunt for more fish.

Java programmeerimise konspekt

"arusaamatu" lõpuosa lihtsalt ära. Java standardvahendite kasutamine on suhteliselt kohmakas. Näiteks rea teksti lugemine dialoogis käib nii: import java.io.*; .... try { BufferedReader sisse = new BufferedReader (new InputStreamReader (System.in)); System.out.print ("Anna tekst: "); String s = sisse.readLine(); // rida teksti ka"es System.out.println ("Tippisid: " + s); } catch (IOException e) { System.out.println ("S/V viga: " + e); } ..... Sõned Objektide hulgas on olulisel kohal sõned (stringid), millega seotud töötlusprogramme leiab klassidest java.lang.String ja java.lang.StringBuffer, sõne "hakkimiseks" on hea java.util.StringTokenizer. Sümbolite tasemel töötlusvahendeid leiab mähisklassist java.lang.Character. Klass StringBuffer on ette nähtud sõnede töötlemiseks, kui on tarvis vahetulemusi salvestada

Ajalehe artikel "75 year old shoplifter"

discovered that he left he's wallet at the getaway vehicle, therefore shopliftings reason was the lack of time and a killing durst so he just ran out from the store but after a few quick step he fell and sprang his ankle. A young officer named Ricky made the arrest and found a pack of euro's in his back pocket while searching him for stolen items. The criminal admitted his guilt and said that "You may have cached me, but you'll never catch my accomplishers and when I get out, I'll still be a rich man" The CSI says that it will only be a matter of time until they catch the other to elderly because that they have possible suspects and thanks to the local supermarkets security tapes the have confirmed the car that the criminal masterminds were driving and with the help of several international police organizations and the price on there head which was butted there by David Copperfield, is enormous. They have got no change.

Throwing the net creates a driving force that causes the lead line to open the net to a flat form, the lead weights then sink the net. After the net has sunk, and the brail line is pulled, the lead line is forced to close, thus creating a pouch in the net which holds the catch, trapping a school of shrimp or fish. After pulling the net from the water, opening the leadline will cause the catch to fall out. CAST NET BASIC STRUCTURE Swivel: two metal loops or rings attached together, that turn at both ends. Hand line: a rope which is attached to the swivel on one end, with the other end attached to the caster's wrist.

News report

Two very clever burglars were arrested in the early hours of the morning. The incident occured in the alley behind Pearson's Electronics Shop, in the South Street. Joe Lee, 30, and Peeter Brown, 23, had just finished loading a van with thousands of pounds worth of electronics equipment when they were surrounded by policeman. The two men had been breaking into electronics shop in the Forest city area for several months. They had continuosly eluded police by cleverly disarming alarms and changing getaway vehicles. Captain Green of the police department said that they had been on burglars trail for some time now and that they had only been waiting for the right moment to catch them in the act.

Report

The aim of this report is to describe social and economic situation in Estonia. Estonia is well known because for it's highly developed IT-sector. IT-sector is the fastest growing area. In the words of stat.ee about two-thirds of households have a broadband Internet connection. Due to more people go online to vote and do their business with the banks. As time goes by, more and more discoveries are made in the IT field. However, the income of estonians is one of the lowest in the European Union, therefore there is a big gap between different social layers. Estonians average monthly wage is 792 EUR, which means that the average monthly wage is bigger only than in Latvia. Other European Union countries have higher average monthly wages. Small salary is accompanie by aging. That is because families with smaller income do not want to have children, because they can not adequately care for them. That is the reason why the gro...

Clownfish

more than a few yards from it. They lay their eggs about twice a month on the nearest hard surface concealed by the fleshy base of the anemone, and they aggressively protect the developing embryos. If the young fish doesn't find an anemone and acclimatize to its new life within a day or two, it will die. The female is the largest in this "family," followed by the male and the adolescents. A Nemo look-alike species sale has jumped by 25 percent. For years it has cost much less to catch and ship wild-caught clownfish than to raise the fish in captivity. But the economics of wild clownfish have been changing: Rising fuel costs have made shipping them more expensive, and populations have been declining.

"Dangerous situation" lühijutt inglise keeles

home, it was midnight and i called my parents, they were already sleeping and I didn't have money for taxi so I went on foot. I packed everything and started walking home. For some reason street lights didn't work and therefore I didn't see anything at all, it was really scary. I decided to call my brother, I told him to meet me halfway, he agreed. I started listening to my music because I thought this would make the fear go away. Out of nowhere somebody hit me and grabbed my bag, I couldn't catch him because I was wearing heels, I panicked and called my brother saying that someone stole my bag and that mugger was running towards him, my brother told me to stay calm and go straight home. I went home scared as hell and about 10 minutes later my brother came back home to, he had catched the mugger and he handed him over to police so it was kind of happy story for me.

Paper-based media will soon be replaced by online media

money and I think we shouldn’t have to pay for our daily news. People who don’t want to pay for the newspaper are already checking the most important news online which are usually free. Another reason for this progress is that online newspapers have been made so easy to access. There were times when people could only get their newspapers by mail or from store, but now they just have to find Wi-Fi and use their gadget to be able to catch up with the latest news. In addition, even the most frequently published papers are only distributed once per day. This simply means that papers can’t compete with the Internet, because there we can see changes almost every hour. However, I can see why other people may think differently. The newspapers printed on paper have become a tradition which is going to be hard to let go. Quite a few people have grown up with the normal newspaper and for them it has sentimental value.

Computers should be used while studying

Computers should be used while studying Nowadays more and more students use computers while studying. While I believe that students should use more computers while studying, their parents and also teachers do not. I strongly believe that computers are useful while studying if you use them as they should be used. Firstly, using computers can improve their computer skills, which can be used later. For example finding a job. Nowadays there lots and lots of jobs which require atleast basic knowledge about computers. Therefore, it is important for them to have computer skills atleast at basic level. Secondly, using computers while studying can speed up the learning and also writing process, because it is known that the youth can find a missing word or a phrase on the internet in a matter of seconds. Also, they write a lot faster on computer than by hand, so it can drastically improve the speed of learning. On the other h...

It can be freakishly warmer or colder here and there, but it's not likely. What to Wear: Bring a heavier jacket and leave the shorts at home. Consider a hat, scarf, and gloves. Bring an umbrella because you still have to walk to and from subway stops and it's much harder to catch a taxi in the rain, so if you're going to be standing around trying to hail one, you might as well be dry. Inglise keele esese - Which will survive - a traditional paper book or an e-book

Also paper books are not very environmental friendly. Secondly, an e-book has a lot of good qualities, for example, you can purchase a book every time you want in spite of going to the book store. Also, if you have a smartphone or a laptop you will always have your books with you, just in case you want to read. An e-book is also more environmental friendly. But an e-book has also some disadvantages. For example, you have your laptop or smartphone battery life to worry about and you can catch some nasty software bugs in the reader and cause it to freeze up. To sum up, everyone has their favorite ways to read a book and I think that both will survive because there will always be people who prefer a traditional paper book to an e-book and also people who prefer an e-book to a traditional paper book.

For and against modern technology for communication

because of its low cost it is a good way to communicate with friends and family, especially contact with those who are far away for example in other countrys. On the other hand many people work with the Internet because it is the fastest and easiest way to contact others and send files. The other way of modern communication is to call somebody by mobilephone also you can send SMS's to others. Mobilephone is good when you are not at home because everyone can catch you by calling. But the Internet also has its negative sides. The main problem of it is the spreading of viruses. A virus on your computer can cause that the computer to collapse. And then you could lose some files from your computer. Fixing the problem is expencive and takes time. Also the mobilephone has its negative sides because you need a lot of money to buy it and they are not very resistant. Calling somebody by a mobilephone can be very expensive when you call to a dial telephone.

When in Rome do as Romans do

They maintain good eye contact during conversations. They bring small gift of chocolate, wine or flowers if invited to someone's home, but gift giving is not very common in bussiness. They avoid littering and when approaching a queue, they go to the end and wait their turn. Australians shake hands when meeting and when leaving and some women may greet each other wit a kiss on the cheek. Opinions are respected in Australia. Australians are active listeners and if they can't catch something they will ask. They love talking about sightseeing and sports. Australians love tea and they drink afternoon tea at 4pm and evening tea at 6- 8pm. The main things to consider while going to australia are that there is very warm and they are very friendly and open to conversations. Australian population is located in a few major urban centres.

Travelling in the world

They try to make their country more attractive to tourists by building hotels. airports and tourist attractions. Doing this gets a lot of money to the travelling destination country. When a country wants to keep the tourists visiting their country they have to invest a lot of money and keep their country safe and attractive. On the other hand there are several bad sides on travelling. Some countries might be politically unstable and also dangerous for tourists. Sometimes people can catch a dangerous disease from an foreign country so they have to be prepared for that. There might also be a disaster that can seriously affect the popularity of the region. In conclusion I can say that travelling is a very fun and interesting thing to do when there is a chance and proper knowledge of the destination. Artur Aramaa

Class essaay. "Music is the universal language"

Class essay. Music is the Universal Language. Music is everywhere around us.. it is in the wind when it blows.. birds, who are loudly screaming now. The noise of cars.. the noise of humans, expecialli their laughing makes me a little happier everytime when I hear it. There're such beautiful voices. Sometimes we just must stand quiet in center on those voices, and catch their message. Music tells us stories wich were never known. Nowadays young people hear music on MP3. They're like in their own reality. Yes it's great to feel that, but a little bit strange, because when somebody wants to ask something at the bus stop, they can't hear anything. Thats sad. I listen to my iPod too, but sometimes it disturbes me, and then I want to hear the naturalmusic after hearing artificial music, which is just imitted that nature by humans.
