My local supermarket I will be telling you about my local supermarket. It is about 1 kilometre from my house. Book Report Graham Greene ,, Our Man in Havana" Liis Mägi, 12c I chose a book by Graham Greene titled ,,Our man in Havana". The reason why I decided to read exactly this book was that I found the plot introductory quite interesting and as I started reading I realised I was right. I found it quite humorous book, written in the third person and set in Havana, Cuba. The story is quite easy to follow. The novel was written right before the American embargo and the Cuba missile crisis of the 1960's, so the author was quite surely influenced by the political events at that time and created his own vision of the future. Estonians: What we're really like In my opinion Estonians are quite serious, we work hard and we're well-educated. We love to travel and a lot of people have a job or go to school somewhere outside Estonia. Ernest Hemingway once said that at least one Estonian can be found in every part of the world. Many of us have emigrated to the US, Canada or Australia. Some of them came back after the restauration of the independence in 1991. Estonia is a quite young country with painful history but I think we've been strong and kept our heads up. We may have a little country but it doesn't mean that the people are small too. Another language that I have learned in school is Russian. I started with it in the sixth grade. Some people say that Russian is Estonian second official language because you can hear russian in every part of estonia. Catcher in The Rye by J.D.Salinger Catcher in The Rye is a novel written by J.D.Salinger. It and was first published in 1951. The story is about a teenage boy Holden Caulfield who dropped out of high-school because he failed every exam but English. Instead of going home and face his parents he decides to stay in hotel. For two days he wanders in New York and meets different people. Everything is described through Holden's perspective. Holden had quite complex character. He sometimes acts like a 13-year-old but in the same time he can be quite reasonable. Holden´s mood swings and trastic changes of feelings could even could mean that he had somekind of bipolar disorder. He could literally hate a person in one second and love in the next. Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you to express my annoyance at the supreme quality of service that was promised but never delivered. I am talking about the intensive 4-wekk language course provided by you, International Language Centre. First things first the "highly qualified staff" had a terrible sense of time and always arrived late. Not to mention their insufficient language level, which I found quite displeasing. In addition to that, the provided free course materials were in reality just old and used textbooks and the desks were just way too small to work on, and the classes had no heating, which were quite cold in the mornings. Also you advertised small study groups, but the fact that there were over a dozen people in class determined that it was a lie. Now, according to these points that I brought out, I believe I am entitled to a full refund and I expect your full cooperation.
I wake up at 8 o'clock.. After I had push aside about three blankets, I decide to take some coffee and go to window to see what is the temperature. It quite funny to think that me the consequently biggest cryaesthesia in the world, comes here to Antarctica. But my huge affection is penguins. That's why I'm going to see how they are doing, after I have finished my coffee. I'll check how many of them are on the ice and does they have their food. Dear Ingrid, Thank for you letter, you told me that you want to be an exchange student. I would recommend our school to you because we have are lot of friendly students and teachers who are very helpful. Our school year starts on the 1. of September and ends in on the 3. of July. Compared with other European schools our summer holiday is the longest. The winter holiday is 2 weeks long and the spring and autumn holidays are 1 week long. Our average school day is quite long, it starts at 8 o´ clock and ends usually at 3 or 4 o´ clock. It's certainly true that money can't buy you happiness, but can you truly be happy if you don't have any money at all? On one hand, things like food, clothes and having a decent home to live in are quite essential to living a happy and normal life. But, for all that money is useful and good to have around, for all that it can buy, there are quite a few things that it can't buy. From quality papers people can read about serious topics. This kind of papers contain inportant issues and reflect different political views. Also quality papers have financial and sports news. Quality papers are printed on large pages, have an undramatic layout and very simple desing. Althoush they look serious their price is not very low. I like my sister the most because she knows me the best and she knows when to stay away from me when I need my space, but also when I need someone to talk to then I can just easily talk to her and I can trust her with my secrets. I know when I talk to her about some kind of problems she is always there for me and atleast tries to help me out even when there is nothing to help with. From time to time we fight but have you ever heard of sisters who don't have their differences but we resolve them quite fast that sometimes we even forget why we were fighting at the first place. I like the fact that she doesn't get angry when i borrow something of hers and the same goes vice versa. To be quite frank I adore my sister and sometimes even admire the things she is willing to do for me because sometimes I can really act nasty against her but as I said before we resolve our differences fast and the hate part just fades away. In summer they can go on vacation with their families and visit all the interesting places. Some kids like water parks and amusement parks, some are interested in museums. They can also visit relatives. Every child wants to play and spend time with friends outside of school, also develop their hobbies. If summer holidays were shorter, they wouldn't have time to do all this. School is hard work. Learning new things all day, and after school there is homework to do. There is quite little time left for children to keen on their hobbies. Men do all the same things all day and some women stay home and drink coffee, while their kids are in school. Children, unlike adults, don't get paid. Children can be quite difficult to handle. There is the whole class of boys and girl and only one teacher. It is tiring for teachers too. Most children enjoy holidays and teachers need to enjoy them even more to get back to school fresh and rested.

One of them would be master bedroom, another one would be for guests and the remaining one or two would be nurseries. I would also want my house to have dining room as well as kitchen, a living room, an office and/or library and a pool in the backyard. Generally, the house must be comfortable, if not luxurious, and quite well-maintained. It doesn't have to be fully furnished, as it would be even more exciting to furnish it by myself. However, some basic things like beds, stove and bath should certainly be in their place. As for extras, it would be perfect if the house had a nice lawn in front of it with some bushed shapes, and a little running track somewhere in the plot. I always want to see more and to do that you also have to be very determined and brave. I wanted to see more from the Looking-Glass world than just the livingroom and after I was offered the chance to become a queen I did not once give up on the long trip to the Eighth Square. Even when I had to enter the wood where things don't have names alone. I was a bit scared but I kept on going! Oh! And that reminds me! I do love my name and I am so glad it came back to me! I'm quite sure that if I had received a new one it would have not fit me at all. Not that I'm trying to praise myself but I think I'm quite kind hearted and polite too. I try not to hurt anyone's feelings and be kind to others. It breaks my heart when I'm told that the Bread-and-Butterflies die if they don't find their weak tea with cream.
