A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference

A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference For most of us, it’s our dream from a young age: We want to change the world. We all want to live in clean and a better world. We want to make everyone laugh and happy because it makes us happy. While you are getting older your thought to change the world will disappear. As a teenager you are thinking about your dream job. Maybe you want to be a doctor, a musician or start your own business. They are all very different thoughts but they’re not easy. Big dreams are always difficult. So is changing the world. When you want to change the world, you have to start with yourself. If you change your thinking you will change your feelings. While you are feeling positive it is more easy to change others

The Canterbury tales by Geoffrey Chaucer

depicts the picture of the English society at that time. Chaucer depicts the knight as a typical hero. In my opinion he is making fun of him because he exaggerates describing his very polite manners and love for chivalry. He says that the knight had fought bravely for their country, was honest, polite and wise and had never in his life lost a battle. Chaucer also writes that the hero was a perfect gentleman and everyone thought only good things about him. But then he says that the clothes the knight wore were dull and beneath the shiny armour he was a simple man like everyone else. I think because at the time of writing chivalry was becoming less and less popular, Chaucer made fun of the knights and how they were honoured and he thought that it was a bit oldfashioned. There was also a shipman and Chaucer described him with some respect I think. He said that the

His dad looked like he knew I was right, but he didn´t want to say anything because it wasn´t his family. Her mom was nervous about what her dad would do. Only one person at the table said anything. It was Charlies´ great aunt. She said: ´Amen.´ 7 What were Charlie's `Secret Santa ` presents for Patrick? Comment on his choices. How could Patrick know who the presents were from? A mix tape Charlie just knew that it should. Magnetic poetry Charlie thought it very fun. Watercolour paints and some paper Charlie thought Patrick might like them even if he never uses them. A harmonica and a book about playing it Charlie thinks that everyone should have watercolours, magnetic poetry and a harmonica. Actually, right now I'm laying under the palm tree and having a nice vacation at Bahama Island. I've been here for a week already and the time is just flowing by. I'm planning to relax and enjoy my vacation for another 2 weeks. Then I have to fly back home and start to work hard. But as a matter of fact I'm already thinking about my summer plans. Reporti näide

Aim of the report According to a recent survey, many artists could soon be having some serious money problems as The National Art Association is planning to stop paying a financial support to professional painters and it seems that they can not sell their paintings either. The survey which interviewed over 1000 The National Art Gallery guests was conducted by British Government. It found that guests are not flattered to buy art. Expensive Two out of five thought that it is nonsense to buy a painting. They thought that they can see some art in National Gallery if they want. Half of guests thought that they might buy some paintings if they had some spare money to spend. Unfortunately 90 per cent of them told that they never had any free money. Collectors So one out of ten guests told that they buy paintings frequently. But most of them were actually collectors and only two guests said that they collected art from young painters

All ten years they had driven all around the world, but now they shouldn't go anywhere, because they didn't have a place, where five cars hadn't been. Are you experienced- book review

Are you experienced? By William Sutcliffe Have you ever thought about backpackers and what makes them go to such a nerve-racking trip? Or do they regret leaving modern life behind and packing it up to find themselves in 3 rd world countries? I had thought about it before, however newer as thoroughly as William Sutcliffes novel made me think. The author writes about the struggles and triumphs in adjusting to major environmental changes and issues with other travellers that appear in every other backpackers journey. The book is entertaining though it’s full of problems that the 3 rd world has and it highlights them in almost unnoticeable ways. “Are you experienced “ draws attention to food and water problems that are common in India

Lebel and the Jackal

intelligent to find out the real identity of the Jackal and his location. He was as professional as the Jackal, but hard-pressed by the government of France. Lebel and the Jackal are actually extremely similar, they think alike, but on different purposes. Lebel is representing the good side on which are the police and law, but the Jackal is the evil man, who wants to kill the president. In fact the similarities of these two men's thinking worlds, were the keys to the solution. Inspector Lebel thought, what the Jackal could have thought and got the answer. The men were on a similar mission as well, both of them did not work on personal principle. They did what do best and earned their living, the reason why they did it was because they were told to do it. In the end, their determination was personal and they knew, although they had not never met, who they were dealing with. They met only the last day, the Liberation day, where Lebel killed the Jackal with a machine-gun.

Victoria Justice Writes Her Own 'Victorious' Ending

Victoria Justice Writes Her Own 'Victorious' Ending Tonight is the night -- the series finale of Victorious. Star Victoria Justice took to Twitter and Tumblr for her own version of how the ending should be. "Hi guys, as most of you know by now, tonight is the final episode of Victorious. In honor of this I thought I'd write a letter about my journey on Nickelodeon and most of all my gratitude to all of you. "It all started when I was twelve years old and auditioned for a role on a show called Zoey 101 for the part of Lola. I was cast as a series regular on the second season. I knew my life was going to change in many ways, but I didn't know then that that role on Zoey 101 would lead me to almost eight years on `Nickelodeon' (all my teenage years). I remember Dan Schneider approaching me and my Mom

If I were a boy

Dear Teacher, Thank you for your last letter. It was very interesting to read it, because I have never thought to that before and it made me to think that what would it be like, if for one day I were a man. I think that almost every girl have thought sometimes that boys are stupid and they doesn't understand girls. So if I were a boy for one day, I would give my best to be the perfect boy and would try to avoid the mistakes that I think mostly the boys do when they hurt a girl. But definately that day would help me see the world as the way boys see it. And I think that day would help me a lot in my following life because probably I would understand the life better beacause I could see it from different corners.

Ghost Story

Ghost story A family of four moved to a little old cottage. One night, when they went to bed they heard music coming from the attic, but when they got to the attic, there was nothing but the wind howling. They did not pay much attention to it because they thought it was just wind. A few weeks later, when they arrived home around 1 pm and found their dog, who almost never barked, barking and acting very strange. He was barking at their garage. The family at first thought it was a cat or some other small animal; the father turned his attention to the garage. The whole family then went to see what was going on, when they opened the old squeaking garage door; they saw an old lady who was sitting in a chair rocking back and forth very slowly. The father went to the car and directed the cars headlights towards the lady, they saw nothing, when he turned the lights out again, and the lady appeared. He did it again, same thing happened. The family was stunned and scared

There were 24 men on the Niña, 26 men on the Pinta, and 40 men on the Santa María. The Niña and the Pinta were caravels. The Santa María was a larger and slower-sailing supply ship. They left Spain on August 3, 1492. They made one stop, then sailed on toward the west. Two days later they saw land; an island Columbus named San Salvador. Capital Punishment should (not) be abolished

Capital Punishment should (not) be abolished Capital punishment has been an ancient way of punishment, which is thought to have started with blood feud and human sacrifices to gods. There are different points of views supporting or held against this sort of punishment. First of all, it is inhumane, primitive and brutal way of revenge, which is contradiction to the basic values of Christian Europe. What is more, it stands in the way of society progressing morally. With this sort of punishment county sets itself at the same level as the criminal and this may increase aggressiveness and lover the value of human life

Belling The Cat (Inglisekeelne luuletus koos tõlkega)

BELLING THE CAT The Mice once called a meeting to decide on a plan to free themselves of their enemy, the Cat. At least they wished to find some way of knowing when she was coming, so they might have time to run away. Indeed, something had to be done, for they lived in such constant fear of her claws that they hardly dared stir from their dens by night or day. Many plans were discussed, but none of them was thought good enough. At last a very young Mouse got up and said: "I have a plan that seems very simple, but I know it will be successful. All we have to do is to hang a bell about the Cat's neck. When we hear the bell ringing we will know immediately that our enemy is coming." All the Mice were much surprised that they had not thought of such a plan before. But in the midst of the rejoicing over their good fortune, an old Mouse arose and said: "I will say that the plan of

Trend tends upward, so the postponing the desision of purchase can bring company to a higher dollar exchange rate, that, as a result, will mean that expences will be substantially higher. 2)To leave the whole amount of exposure unhedged was too risky at that time. Review: Educating Rita

Thanks to the efforts and sacrifices Rita is able to achieve what she was wanting. The film ends as Frank is sent to Australia and Rita realises that the life with education has the same problems. I think that this film is for everybody. It speaks about finding yourself and about desire to find and develope yourself, which can come anytime, at age 15 or at age 55. For kids under 15 it could be a bit difficult to understand because it is with deep thought. At first the film seemed dull, but when the story developed, then it was interesting and enthralling. I never found it funny, but it was catching. Sometimes it was even a little romantic. The film ended differently than I hoped. I thought that Susan and Frank will stay together and fly to Australia, make family. I hoped to see happy ending and how Susan would run after Frank and shout: ,,Wait for me! I will come with you, I love you, Frank!" but it did

The most important technological invention

The most important technological invention In my mind, the most important technological invention is the jet airliner, the Boeing 707- 120, which was invented in 1958. I concidered different inventions but thought, that the ability to move from one point to another in an innoventional and extremely quick way is worth the title. The four engine plane can carry up to 181 passengers and cruise at 600 mph for 5280 miles on a full tank. This has made continetial travelling extremely comfortable, as voyages that formerly took a couple of weeks can now be passed with only 1 day or even less. The first jet flight took off from New York and landed in Paris, soon after that there was a connection

Why does Marx elevate proletariat? Do you see Wright doing the same? What do you think why?

Why does Marx elevate proletariat? Do you see Wright doing the same? What do you think why? In Karl Marx’s eyes, the society was divided into two classes – the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. He considered bourgeoisie to be the upper class and proletariat the lower class, also known as the working class, which he elevated and believed more in. On the other hand, a man named Erik Olin Wright had a different set of mind. Firstly, Karl Marx thought that proletariat was more powerful than bourgeoisie, because he believed, that if there would be a revolution one day, then it would be carried out by the proletariat. In work, Marx saw a form of human self-expression, which the capitalist mode of production did not allow to develop. He claimed, that the pressure would arise interest in economics and politcs among the proletariats so they could take over power, fight against the injustices the bourgeoisie

The Life-Changing Competition

I've always dreamed about his live-concert! And, now, finally, I can hear his singing!" "He's just opening the competition..." But the woman seemed very happy, so Alice decided not to ruin her mood and agreed to everything she talked about. Matrix finished all the preparations and went to Daemon, whom was drinking soda behind the stage and watching the crowd. "Lots of people, Daemon?" The questioned one smiled and said," Your sister has gotten quite grow-up, Mat." "Alice? Yea, even thought her character hasn't changed at all!" "Well, I first saw her nine years ago..." "Right, I remember! We were in form six then! It was the first afternoon you decided to create a bend!" "Can you believe it? I've known you for nine years...geez, how fast time flies..." And they started laughing. "Sorry to interrupt, but the competition is about to start now. Will you take your places, please?" said one of the stuff members. "Sure!" answered Matrix and they left the stage.

Bullying

think that's because he had glasses or because he didn't study well. He had problems with the teacher also. I was sorry for him but I wasn't bold enough to defend him. And I think I was a little bit scared that the others may bully me too when I defend him. Sometimes I even thought that he didn't understand that he was bullyed. Now I don't communicate very much with my old classmates but I have heard that they still bully him and I don't know how it even provides fun to them any more. I thought they have grown and studied something from that. I am very lucky to not being bullied and if I see someone being bullied at school, I immediately try to stop it because I have seen it so much in my life and I don't think it is right. No one likes to be bullied.

Metallica concert review

Bullet For My Valentine, and avenged septuple. In a review of their concert, it was amazing. Their melodic touch to the “trashiness” was beautifully placed and gave their songs an edge over the others. For example: Fight fire with fire, Battery, Fade to Black, and constant use of melodic sections as seen in Master of Puppets as well. But what really elevated Metallica in my eyes was the album And Justice for All (AJFA), it showed more of their technical side with well thought out phrasing and intricate guitar work, one Song in particular “To live is to Die” is what I consider their best instrumental and Metallica at its peak. One other thing that people don't seem to credit Metallica with is their lyrics. Their lyrical department has always been strong whether it's related to political tension, self-loathing, or social evils.Onto the concert review, I find their music very dense and satisfying. There are so many

Eclipse, Chapter Fourteen – Declaration

Bella's first (and only human) high-school graduation is entirely appropriate. Edward informs Bella of Jasper's concern that they get help in their fight against the newborns. Jasper and Carlisle are trying to track down old friends to join the fight including Maria, but nobody wants to involve the southerners. Edward is convinced that someone will help them: no one wants a visit from the Volturi. Bella feels physically ill at the thought of the Cullens putting themselves in harm's way, and can't even consider the possibility that Edward might be hurt, or worse. Edward's confidence does nothing to quell the terror building inside her at the thought of losing "the core of her existence." In her panic she suggests that in the week it will take to prepare for the fight she could be changed into a vampire and be ready to help them. Edward

lives so far. We are going to start a completely new and different life after graduation. The emphasis therefore should be on the word "life". The real thing, it's coming, it's going to hit us and it's going to hit us hard. Nothing is going to be the same. Life will never ever be as simple, carefree and easygoing again. To me, the expression "life is hard" has never meant anything. I have always been more of a "life is beautiful"-type. I have never really thought that it actually is hard. Mostly because I have never thought what the real life is like. Ofcourse I have seen it, it's all around me, but only seeing and seeing plus thinking through what you see are two really different things. An example: have you ever been to a funeral of a collateral relative as a child? Do you remember what you felt? I remember I felt almost nothing and I never cried. When someone
