A Disaster in Mellowtown Hello! This is Kairi from WLAG radio reporting you about an accident that happened with a truck carrying chickens. The accident took place in Mellowtown, at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway about 12.30. A chicken farmer was driving his chickens to a market, when by unknown reason he made an accident. Tom Phillips, the chicken farmer, said that he was driving slowly and carefully as always, but suddenly the truck started to make strange noise and he could not control it any more. Then he crashed. As a result the crates, where the chickens were held, went to pieces and chickens broke free. At the moment there is a real chaos in the middle on Mellowtown, chickens everywhere and pieces of the crates also. And what's worst, as there is worldwide bird flu epidemic, people are frightened maybe
The Chernobyl accident in 1986 was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. The resulting steam explosion and fires released at least 5% of the radioactive reactor core into the atmosphere and downwind. Two Chernobyl plant workers died on the night of the accident, and a further 28 people died within a few weeks as a result of acute radiation poisoning. The April 1986 disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Ukraine was the product of a flawed Soviet reactor design coupled with serious mistakes made by the plant operators. It was a direct consequence of Cold War isolation and the resulting lack of any safety culture. The accident destroyed the Chernobyl 4 reactor, killing 30 operators and firemen within

31 August 1997. I guess that almost everyone knows how dramatic that date was. England lost the princess who should become the Queen- but all went wrong. The film took place in United Kingdom and it talked about the Royal Family. At the beginning of the film Tony Blair was appointed as the United Kingdom´s prime minister. Blair visited Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen Elizabeth. Three months later princess Diana, the Queen Elizabeth´s daughter, had a car accident in Paris- she died. Blair gave the speech in which Diana was described as "the people´s princess". All the people in England were in shock and in tears. The country was in deep grief. Since Diana was divorced from her husband Charles, she was no longer a part of the Royal Family. At first, Elizabeth insisted that the funeral must be private. Eventually she changed her mind and she agreed to bring Diana´s body back to England. In London, flowers were piled in front of Buckingham Palace
further as central and local governments are forced to spend an increasing amount of money and time fighting or settling legal battles brought by people who have seen a small piece of misfortune as an opportunity to get rich quick. Definitely you can't forget to mention the most normal people from whom comes out greedy evil geniuses, who cleverly defraud companies/governments. Naturally, many people have sought to get rich quickly without having to undergo the pain and inconvenience of an accident. Others have found ways to find someone else to blame for an accident for which they were responsible. For example, one man received a payout of £238,000 in compensation from his local council after that he had broken his ankle in a pot hole. I mean how much more stupid can the justice systems get, unbelievable. In conclusion, I think that the world has gone completely mad with those compensations. I would put it on the conscience of the greedy lawyers who wisely

The episode is adapted from three stories by P.G. Wodehouse: "The Spot of Art", "The Delayed Exit of Claude and Eustace" and ,,Fixing It for Freddie". When Bertie returns to New York he orders a painting of his Aunt Agatha, which is painted by a woman whose Bertie is in love. On Dr House , there he is willful, abstruse but smart doctor. In Jeeves and Wooster hi playes vigorous, correct and cheerful gentleman

fossil fuels. Nuclear power costs about the same as coal, so it's not expensive to make. Although not much waste is produced, it is very, very dangerous. It must be sealed up and buried for many thousands of years. For all that time it must be kept safe from earthquakes, flooding, terrorists and everything else. This is difficult. Nuclear power is reliable, but a lot of money has to be spent on safety - if it does go wrong, a nuclear accident can be a major disaster. One of the most feared disadvantages of nuclear energy is the potential for weapons. Each year, every nuclear reactor is capable of making enough plutonium to build over thirty nuclear bombs. Nuclear plants must be secured well enough to prevent this material from falling into the wrong hands.
Buying a car. The first thing you must decide before you begin your car research is whether you want a new car or a used car. If you decide to buy a used car, there are several things you need to keep in mind. The most important thing about buying a used car is that you know everything about the history of the car, including: · Previous owners · Car condition · If the car was ever involved in an accident · Run · And much more! Also you have to check the fuel consumption because the fuel is quite expensive and addons. Furthermore the car colour is important too, from the dark colours you can see dirt much better. You have to try the car before you buy it aswell. In case that you have a big family you must buy a family car which is bigger than usual four-door sedans. You have to think why do you need the car, you cant buy two-door car for your family
NUCLEAR ENERGY · Can be produced in very small amount of volume and that makes it easy to transport ("Pros of nuclear," ) · Nuclear power plants have a big income, it helps to create more jobs and the countries to overcome the struggle with its bad economy Cons: · High construction costs because of radiation and complicated procedures and long construction time (Buzz, 2009) · Accident risks for example Chernobyl, Ukraine in 1986 or Fukushima, Japan in 2011 and radiation can cause serious health problems · Nuclear weapons may cause tension between different countries · Uranium is hard to get and expensive to mine, refine, and transport, and produce considerable environmental waste (including greenhouse gasses) during all of these procedures (Buzz, 2009) · Wastes lasts from 200 to 500 thousand years (Buzz, 2009)
Most needed profession in Estonia in 21st century Nowadays, it's very difficult to say, which job is most important. There is very much jobs, in Estonia. It is very individual, and every people emphasize different jobs. I think, importand and eventful is medico profession. People who are saving peoples lifes, they need respect. I can only suppose what kind of hard work it really is. Maybe healty people dont value this job, but people who have been sick or take part in some accident, they know how needed occupation it is. Secondly it would be policeman profession. There is very much criminals, in Estonia, and in all world. But policemans trying take care of people safety. I think, if there is no policemans, in world, then it would be disaster. Third would be teacher occupation. We need smart peoples, for saving lifes in world. It is important to teach childs and give them education. Then we are growing up people, who could appreciate everything
But when some accidents happens they dont understand whay this happened only whit them. And then they maby understand that they didnt give sufficiently attention to their children. Secondly,to many parents are important only work and money. So they dont care about their children and dont know what they do.When children need a good advise then parents dont have time and children have to decide by theirself. Thirdly,best-regulated families think that they are perfect families and never not one accident will happen with them. But they are mistaken.Accidents can happen with every family and with everyone. It dont care that are you best-regulated family or arent so perfect family. But in best-regulated families are accidents unexpected. In conclusion i think that accidents will occur in the best-regultaed families because parents are uncaring and family members dont care about each other.
to get cosmetic surgery? Many people nowadays think that teenagers are getting more independent. They often do things on their own and sometimes things that they wouldn't be proud of in the future. It is certainly true that cosmetic surgery costs a lot of money. People under the age of age of eighteen live with their parents. Usually parents have to cover their expenses. On the other hand minors might get into an accident and need cosmetic surgery to look the same again. If disfigured a child can feel left out which is not good. Another point in favor is that some people might have a serious birth defect like cleft lip and they might want to get it removed. To sum up, minors might use cosmetic surgery a lot but rarely do they really need it. On my opinion cosmetic surgery should only be given to those who need it with a doctor's subscription.

Cars are the greatest danger to human life today Nowadays driving with cars are very popular because they are very convenient and fast. Even though, there are people, who don't use cars for their own reasons. In my opinion, cars are useful and they give us more personal freedom. In the first place, there are a lot of people, who die in a car accident every year. The way I see it, is that peole themselves cause the greatest harm to society, not cars. Cars are not all dangerous if they're driven with care and attention. Another major reason is that cars give us more personal freedom. We can decide where and when we want to travel without having to rely on anyone else. Furthermore, cars are very small and comfortable, that we can easily drive close to different buildings.
contaminated the nation's soil. Some rivers and lakes within the country have been found to contain toxic sediments in excess of 10 times the accepted level for safety. The nation's land pollution problems are aggravated by the 15 million tons of pollutants that are added yearly to the existing 250 million tons of pollutants. In 1994, 24,000 acres of the country's total land area were affected. Radiation levels from the nuclear accident at Chernobyl exceed currently accepted safety levels. To sum up, environmental problems should be handled by local and international authorities also. Every single person should take care of environment and moreover we have to bring up our children to be conscious citizens of a clean and preserved planet.
REPORT This report compares different types of injuries. Reading this report you will get to know what are the parts of the body that get injured most frequently. The first parts of the body are fingers. According to the graph fingers are most commonly injured 13, 4 %.I think that is normal, because we use our fingers all the time and it is easy to cut into yourself . If you have injured yourself with a knife , then you should try to stop the bleeding and use a plaster. The second most common injuries happen to your skulls 6,5 %. You might hurt your skull by falling or getting hit by something. If you do injure your skull then it is better to see a doctor, who will tell you what to do. I think that just putting criminals in prison does not help neither does it change them. Thus, when they get out of prison or pay their fine, they usually tend to fall back to their old ways and commit another crime. Criminals have different backgrounds so they have different reasons for their deeds. Some come from broken homes, some may have been influenced by their friends, some may have commited a crime out of lifes circumstances, for example poverty, and some crimes might happen by an accident, by human error. During and after their imprisonment criminals should get some mental help. A psychologist could figure out what is the reason for their criminal activity and could give them advice. If the criminal has some serious financial issues that he has not caused he should be given a job so that he could run his life back on tracks. I think that criminals should not just be sent to jail but given mental and (reasonable) financial
(Volvo trucks, 2013.) Antud referaadis on tuginetud enamjaolt kolmele erinevale teadusartiklile: European accident research and safety report (2013), Study of characteristics and evaluation of severity affecting factors associated with large-truck crashes (2013) ja Sleep, work schedules and accident risk in South African long-haul truck drivers (2002).

For and Against Mobile Phones Mobile phones have become a essential part of people's lives. Almost everybody has a mobile phone. This essay will deal advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phones. Nowadays mobile phones have internet. It is very useful and it guarantees a quick access to the information one need. Furthermore, why mobile phones are important is that one can call help. For example when there has been an accident , one can call quickly the ambulance. Early telephones were nothing like the ones we have today. Telephone is the Greek word for "far sound." Before the invention of telephone, people used fax, postal letters and birds to communicate. Alexander Graham Bell was an eminent scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who intented the first telephone. His mother and his wife were both deaf and that was the main reason which caused his interest to hearing devices. Bell invented the telephone by accident when he was trying to invent a device that could send more than one telegram at the same time. His research on hearing and speech further led him to experiment with hearing devices which eventually culminated with the telephone in 1876. The first telephone didn't have a bell, so the caller had to tap the phone with a hammer to let the receiver know a call was being sent to them. It was Thomas Watson who invented the bell.

someone has an interview or an exam. But people pass exams or interviews because they studied hard or spoke well, not because of luck. People who consider to be lucky just embrace that idea that they are lucky start approacing life a bit differently. And because they thing that they are lucky people take more risks haing more unplanned events. But there is also a possibility that the same event can be lucky and unlucky for a person. For example someone who had a bad car accident and broke three ribs and both legs, Yes we can say that he was unlucky because it happed but he survived it so he is very lucky. Accordingly, because cars are not idling in traffic there is less smog. However, there are some negative aspects of living in the rural area. For some, the lack of entertainment and smaller community is the biggest turn-off. Others are concerned about distances between two points, especially if an accident has happened and medical care is needed. What is worrying is also the fact that the unemployment rate is also much higher in the countryside than in the city. Living in the non-urban area has both advantages and disadvantages.
