REPORT Young people's activities in Simuvere Gymnasium in 1996, 1998 and 2000 Introduction The aim of this report is to describe, how are young people's favourite pastimes changed between 1996 and 2000. The survey is carried out in Simuvere Gymnasium in 1996, 1998 and 2000. Students who were questioned were 16-18 years old. My findings are presented below. Numbers have given in precentages. Changes among pastime activities. At graph we can see big changes. 1. Before 1996 students mostly watched television but in 1998 it was already ten percent less. In 2000 it was only twenty five percent. 2. Before students loved to read books, but in 2000 this number was only fifteen percent. This is not good anymore. 3. In 1996 students did not know what is computer or what we can do with that. In 2000 everyone can use computer. The most studen...

some advice on how to make buildings more crime-proof. 1 Inveiglement Firstly, people keep their valuable items in the visible places like on the window sill and that entices the criminals. Recommendation: Valuable items should be put away, where it is impossible to see them from the window. 2 Security systems Another thing to mention is that people do not give much attention to the security of their houses. That decreases dread of being caught and criminals are getting more and more impudent. Recommendation: Security systems and security cameras should be installed in the buildings. That increases the chance that the criminals will be caught or they dare not to commit the crime. 3 Dogs Finally, burglars can easily hide themselves behind the trees and other objects in the garden. They watch for what happens in the house and that helps them to plan their crime.
with their computer. Most of all children have accounts in different social networks and if they are given an opportunity to feel free while using computer at school they might get carried away and forget the purpose of this device at certain lessons. Finally, there have been many complaints about plagiarism. As long as the internet has unlimited amount of information, many students tend to copy the articles or information and give them out as their own ideas or creations. That decreases percentage of child's or adolescent's brain work, which later will not pay off. It seems to me that providing every student with computer is not necessary. After all it is very useful to have cyber classes at school, which can be visited few times a month.
The first sign that his wish had become true is seen when Dorian is very heartless and rude to Sibyl Vane, an actress to whom he wanted to marry. When young Dorian discovers that his painting has changed and that his wish had come true, he hides the painting to a room where no one but him has access to. As time goes by, he becomes more infected by the ideas of Henry, but he loses control over his behaviour and his reputation in public decreases. This grows concern in Basil, who has deep feelings for Dorian and Basil tries to put some sense into the boy's mind. After Dorian had killed Basil, the same coldness and indifference, which had been there after Sibyl's suicide, appear again. All the sins that Dorian makes reveal themselves on the portrait. He keeps the door locked, but sometimes goes to see what he really has become. The picture that he sees is so
harril oli 1 punkt What parameters are reflected at the motor replacement circuit? The rotor variables are reflected to the stator axes. For this purpose, recalculation is made resulting in the reflected (referred) rotor EMF, current, inductance, and resistance. As a result, the electromagnetic power, losses, and consumed power in the reflected and in the source machines are equal. Test V Braking time at reversing depends on speed. Regeneration occurs when speed decreases suddenly or increases. The double-phase motor have a easy breakdown. The double-phase motor are of low power and simple design. To stop the induction motor by the counter-force method, change the sign of supply voltage or set-point speed. The counter-force braking provides high value of shock current and shock torque. DC injection braking requires a single DC supply, disconnection of AC supply. At DC injection braking the following motor windings can be supplied: 3 stator
It is used to produce electricity and heat, to produce different products like fertilisers, glass, plastic, it can also be used as a fuel to our cars. Petroleum is a liquid that can be found in earth's crust. It is used as fuel and as a raw material in chemical industry. It is very important we use renewable and non-renewable resources wisely. If a resource is used and thrown away, eventually the resource becomes scarce. When the supply decreases, its price will increase. Products that are made from that resource would increase in price too. Sometimes resources become so rare they can no longer be used. In these cases, substitute resources may be used, which may make a poorer quality product, or one that is more expensive. If substitutes can not be used, some products could no longer be made. Wise use of resources includes not throwing away products that are reuseable or recyclable.
black individual is more susceptible to than most other races. Maintain a Healthy Weight: If you're on the internet reading this, you probably already know that exercise is vital to maintain a healthy weight. Any form of physical activity helps to burn calories stored in the body from the food we eat. In order to lose weight, we need to burn calories. However, exercise not only helps us lose weight, but maintain our weight as we grow older. As we age, our metabolism decreases, and so we need extra physical activity just to maintain our weight. This is why most people put on weight as they age, even when they stick to the same diet that they have always had. Build and Tone Muscles: Exercise helps to build strong muscles and bones through both cardiovascular and strength training. Strength training is any form of exercise that requires muscle resistance, so whether you're using your own body weight or an
muutusi vaid fookuses on eelkõige tootmise kulutõhusamaks muutmine. „But product innovation and process innovation are interdependent; as the rate of product innovation decreases, it is common to observe a growing rate of process innovation.“ (Utterback 1996, 83) Muutused organisatsioonis Organisatsiooni siseseid muutusi võib liigitada kolme erinevasse faasi. 1. This 20 reduces the ability of adenosine to bind to the receptors, which would slow down cellular 21 activity. The stimulated nerve cells release the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline), which 22 increases heart rate, blood pressure, and blood flow to muscles, decreases blood flow to the skin 23 and organs, and causes the liver to release glucose. Caffeine also increases levels of the 24 neurotransmitter dopamine. 25 Part of the reason caffeine is classified by the Food and Drug Administration as generally 26 recognized as safe is that toxic doses (over 1000 mg for an average adult) are much higher than 27 typically used doses. live together in peace. The boys on the desert island start to hunt pigs and find out that they enjoy killing. Which means that time by time they are losing their humanity. It is always better to have rules and to accept them, than to hunt and kill each other. Morality has rules, that restrict our freedom, but only for our own well-being and better conditions. Morality's main purposes are that it keeps society from falling apart, it decreases human suffering and also promotes human flourishing. In addition it helps to resolve conflicts of interest and assigns responsibilities for actions (praise, blame, reward, punishment). So morality is the glue holding together our society, without moral codes and values it would break down. Moralities purposes are related, but not identical. Different theories accent different purposes. For example utilitarianists think that most important are human flourishing and

With its integral storage system, a Tapchan is different to most of the other regenerative energy conversion technologies. The following equation governs the energy of water waves: Energy 1 J Energy density = = ewave = * r H2 O * g * h @ewave D = Area 8 m2 The equation mentioned above implies that as the area decreases, the wave height will increase. Using a tapered channel, wave height will increase as the width of the channel decreases. A 350 kW prototype was installed 1985 in Norway at the coast of a small island. It has a 40 m collector with a channel of 170 m length and a reservoir which is 3 m above mean sea level. It was destroyed by a heavy winter storm in 1988. For small traders it is very hard to begin and even more harder to stay on the market because of the high competition. Estonia wants to be modern and successful very fast but it should also take into account rescources what are in front of us. Developing the e-services and networks are good while being ahead in the future but Estonia should not put all of its focus into it. More and more people are moving to cities looking for a fancier job and as a result of this workforce in countrysides decreases. In addition, people tend to lose interest in agriculture. Estonia has a lot of rural land and there is an opportunity to start using it more effectively, otherwise life in the countrysides will end. Due not focusing so much on the agricultural sector, the export compared to the import is smaller. Estonia’s biggest export outputs are wood, paper and food products, so there exists good potential to invest in domestic products and organic production

proprioception; genetic heritability. Sometimes weak muscles have an impact on the development of hypermobility as well. On rare occasions, hypermobile joints are the issue of a specific medical condition, such as cleidocranial dysostosis and Marfan, Morquio, Ehlers-Danlos or Down syndrome. 2 Joint laxity occurs mainly in the joints that are located in fingers, elbows, shoulders, wrists, knees, and hips. It usually appears at a very young age and decreases as one gets older, but 58% 3 of adults diagnosed with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome do not see any indication of the recession of JMS throughout their lives. The syndrome rather delves than shows withdrawal. Hypermobility is usually a sign of fragile joints. In order to avoid injuries, one is suggested to perform exercises and physical therapies to improve one’s extension, such as yoga, pilates, dancing, tai chi and intensive stretching trainings. Why are economies of scale important? - Firstly, because a large business can pass on lower costs to customers through lower prices and increase its share of a market. This poses a threat to smaller businesses that can be "undercut" by the competition - Secondly, a business could choose to maintain its current price for its product and accept higher profit margins. The LRAC LRAC is "U-Shaped" · The LRAC initially decreases due to "economies of scale" Economies of scale are due to division of labour. · Eventually, "diseconomies of scale" begin usually lack of adequate information to manage the production process Calculations of LRAC With a little mathematics, the long run cost functions can be calculated. It is easier to use equations rather than tables and graphs.

and the Tennessee are also very long. Climate Every type of climate can be found in the United States due to the tremendous size of the North American landmass. Most of the country has a humid continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. Because of the lack of the natural barriers in south and north, dry air flows south from Canada, and warm, humid air north from the Gulf of Mexico. The Great Plains and Midwest have spectacular weather, with hot and humid summers. The rainfall decreases to the west due to rain shadow caused by Sierra Nevada. The southwest part of the Great Plains is the hottest and driest region of the U.S. The Pacific coast is almost rainless in the summer, but having often fog. IN the winter there is frequent drizzle, but the climate is still, warm. The eastern part of the county is moderately rainy and the summers are extremely humid. History The first known inhabitants of modern-day United States territory are believed to have arrived

The redundancy was made in BMW's plant in Oxford which had 4500 employees in total. It means that almost 19 per cent of them were let go. It was because of the fall in sales as a result of the global recession. During the credit crunch demand for Mini's and also for other car manufacturers' products has been decreased. In January Mini's sells were down by 35 per cent. Employees have to work in the fear because their job is undependable. Because if the demand decreases even more than company has to make another redundancy. (http://news.icm.ac.uk) Distributors Minis are sold by local dealers or by 2nd hand car sales. Local car dealers can be found in the most of the cities. Customers can search product availability online. Also distributors do not have to have Minis in their stock, because they can easily send an order to the factory where the car is sent to the distributor. Then distributors do not need so much room for stock. The
the Energy Policy Acts of 2002 and 2005. The use of renewable fuels is expected to continue to grow over the next 30 years, although we will still rely on non-renewable fuels to meet most of our energy needs. trends Consumption Total renewable energy consumption increased by 478 trillion Btu or 7 percent between 2005 and 2006 to 6,922 trillion Btu . At the same time total US energy consumption decreased 1 percent largely due to decreases across the board in fossil fuel energy consumption. The combination of these trends resulted in moving renewable energy's share of total US energy to nearly 7 percent, up from over 6 percent in 2005 During 2006 renewable energy consumption reached its highest level since 1997, which was a record year for hydropower due to water availability . Hydropower is the second largest source of renewable energy consumption.
meters was carefully examined, which stated the requirements that the optical sensors should fullfill while working. The practical part of the work was made simpler by authors two years of experience with water meters and measuring equipment used for the process. The results in table 8.1 show that the measuring deviation during the process stays well within the deviation calculated by the calibration of Metrosert AS water meter measuring equipment. Using one optical sensor with the process decreases the time consumption by 6.25 %. Equipping the measuring device with 6 optical sensors decreases the time consumption of measurements by 61.73 %. Calcualtions show that one optical sensor reaces its cost break-even point in 45 working days. While the equpping of measuring device with 6 optical sensors might cost 2700 € it will start making profit in just 12 working days. The installation and training of the staff has not been considered in the calculations.
It's arctic in Alaska and tropical in Florida. The climate is not usually temperate, in spite of the latitude. The North American landmass heightens the variations in temperature and rainfall. Most of the country has a moist continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. There are no natural barriers either in the north or in the south. This allows dry and cold air flow in from Canada and warm, humid from the Gulf of Mexico. In this region summers are very hot and humid and rainfall decreases to the west as a result of the rain shadow created by the West Pacific range and the Sierra Nevada. The Pacific coast is almost rainless in the summer. In winter there is commonly spray like rain. But the climate remains warm and dry especially in California. The climate on the Atlantic coast is continental with cool summers and rather warm winters with a permanent snow cover in mountainous regions. Further to the south the climate gets warmer, with warmer winters and hotter summers.
in a mental health standpoint. The formulated research question is how does PE affect the mood of Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium G1BK1 girls? In our research we found out how our classmates felt about going to PE and what was their mood before and after the lesson. A hypothesis was formulated that physical activity raises the students’ mood and after PE students feel better but it was not confirmed, it turned out that physical activity does not affect mood and a students energy decreases due to PE and they will not want to go to the next PE lesson. We used a quantitative method and students answered questions to give their opinions by giving answers in a poll. Our motive was to justify the necessity of PE in the study programme. There were no difficulties during doing this work because there were enough sources of learning materials and it was interesting to read them. 25
He found that women in the early trimester scored much higher across the board in disgust sensitivity than their counterparts in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. According to Fessler, many of the diseases that are most dangerous are food-borne, but our ancestors could not afford to be picky about what they ate. The natural selection may have helped to decrease the chance of disease by increasing the urge to be picky. The sensitivity seems to diminish as the risk of disease decreases. This is consistent with the view of disgust as a form of protection. Discuss ethical considerations in research into genetic influences on behavior. Genetic research aims to identify particular genes involved in hereditary diseases. This kind of research may have risks to participants because of the link between the disease and people's lives. If the genetic information is misused, it can cause problems for people, like not getting a job or insurance.

Moisture content of sunflower at maturity is usually high (80 to 90%) and would require wilting before ensiling. Nutritional quality of sunflower silage is often higher than corn but lower than alfalfa hay (Table 1). Crude protein level of sunflower silage is similar to grass hay and higher than corn silage. Generally, crude protein of sunflower decreases and lignin percentage increases after the flowering stage. High plant populations increases fiber and lignin percentage. Seed size does not seem to affect yield or quality. good to the consumer. Also known as duties or import duties, tariffs usually aim first to limit imports and second to raise revenue. A quota is a limit on the amount of a certain type of good that maybe imported into the country. A quota can be either voluntary or legally enforced. The effect of tariffs and quotas is the same: to limit imports and protect domestic producers from foreign competition. A tariff raises the price of the foreign good beyond the market equilibrium price, which decreases the demand for and, eventually, the supply of the foreign good. A quota limits the supply to a certain quantity, which raises the price beyond the market equilibrium level and thus decreases demand. Tariffs come in different forms, mostly depending on the motivation, or rather the stated motivation. (The actual motivation is always to limit imports.) For instance, a tariff maybe levied in order to bring the price of the imported good up to the level of the domestically produced good

It has been suggested that spirituality also leads to finding purpose and meaning in life. · Enesetõhusus - self-efficacy´is one's belief in one's ability to accomplish a task by one's own efforts. Low self-efficacy is associated with depression high self-efficacy can help one overcome abuse, overcome eating disorders, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. High self-efficacy also improves the immune system, aids in stress management, and decreases pain. · Õpitud optimism - learned optimism is the habit of attributing one's failures to causes that are external (not personal), variable (not permanent), and specific (limited to a specific situation). For example, an optimistic person attributes his/her failures to external causes (the environment or other people), to variable causes which are not likely to happen again, and to specific causes that will not affect his/her success in other endeavors

The higher Reynolds number results in higher overall heat transfer coefficient. This is expected because of the velocity of the water inside the coil increases, the convective heat transfer resistance decreases, the internal heat transfer coefficient rises, and consequently so does the overall heat transfer coefficient. The effect of the agitation rate is not as clear. For a Reynolds number of 1993 and with the change of agitation from 618 rpm to 1703 rpm the overall heat transfer coefficient changes form 636 W·m-2·K-1 to 666 W·m-2·K-1. For a Reynolds number of 2628 and with the agitation changing from 618 rpm to 1703 rpm, the global heat transfer coefficient changes from 661

(e.g. nature, social groups, organizations, movements, traditions, belief systems) Enesetõhusus - self-efficacy´is one's belief in one's ability to accomplish a task by one's own efforts. Low self-efficacy is associated with depression high self-efficacy can help one overcome abuse, overcome eating disorders, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. High self- efficacy also improves the immune system, aids in stress management, and decreases pain. Õpitud optimism - learned optimism is the habit of attributing one's failures to causes that are external (not personal), variable (not permanent), and specific (limited to a specific situation). For example, an optimistic person attributes his/her failures to external causes (the environment or other people), to variable causes which are not likely to happen again, and to specific causes that will not affect his/her success in other endeavors. This explanatory style is
relatively linear over a limited range of temperatures, but if the range of mea- surement is wide, the software will need to compensate for nonlinearities. The formula for thermocouple voltage is a polynomial, just like thermistor resis- tance is. Solid State The simplest semiconductor temperature sensor is a PN junction, such as a signal diode or the base-emitter junction of a transistor. If the current through the forward-biased silicon PN junction is held constant, the forward drop decreases about 1.8 mV per °C. The Maxim MAX1617 is an IC that measures temperature using an external transistor, such as a 2N3904, as a temperature sensing element. The transistor can be a discrete part, or it can be embedded in the die of an IC to measure the IC temperature. The MAX1617 has a serial SMBus output. The LM335 (Figure 3.5) from National Semiconductor produces an output voltage proportional to temperature. The LM135 produces 10 mv per degree Kelvin. At 0°C, the output is 2

answer with giving lethal gas in exchange) Small arms proliferation Trading of the arms is the most profitable business. To limit such trade it's almost mission impossible. The aim is to prohibit fully. Prohibited methods of warfare: denial of quarter aka no prisoners kill everyone even if one wants to surrender, it's a war crime. perfidy War Crime (because it dramatically decreases the protection by IHL and international law, it undermines aims of this law); could be in different forms, but two criteria should be filled: 1) you should misuse the protection which is provided by the international law, 2) you should use with misuse to achieve certain military advantage. The most famous example: put ammunition in a red cross car; or you can use UN uniform with its protective
which can be toxic.2 The increase in iron was far more alarming to me than the changes in cholesterol. Here is just one of several explanations from the research literature: In addition to contributing to metabolic abnormalities, the consumption of fructose has been reported to a ect homeostasis of numerous trace elements. Fructose has been shown to increase iron absorption in humans and experimental animals. Fructose intake [also] decreases the activity of the copper enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and reduces the concentration of serum and hepatic copper. The moral of the story? Don't drink fruit juice, and absolutely avoid a high-fructose diet. It doesn't do the body good.
