Natural resources are land or raw materials like minerals, fluids, gases, organic matters and also woods, groundwater, animals and so on, in other words it’s everything that human hasn’t created. These resources are also used in industry.

We get natural resources from the environment. Many of them are essential for our survival while others are used for satisfying our wants.

When this gas is trapped, however, it can be made useful, instead of just being a nuisance. Trapped biogas can be used to power stoves for cooking and heating, in addition to other applications. Many of these resources can be of local origin and promote local business and industry. The main advantages with district heating are high security of supply through utilisation of domestic renewable energy resources, if available, low primary energy demand due to high conversion efficiency, as well as small CO2 emissions thanks to low fossil fuel use and the high energy efficiency.
