surprise between the two halves of the chocolate. At 1 o'clock, the guests arrived. They were my grandparents. Guests brought pies made by grandma and a beautiful bunch of flowers since i'd just had my birthday a week before. Mother asked me to take out a vase to put the flowers in the water. So i did and i climbed on top of a chair to grab my favourite vase with blue flowers on it. Suddenly i noticed a lot of sweets on the top shelf of the drawer and also drawings i had drawn to santa claus. I shouted "mommy, is this the dwarves' storage place?" I was frustrated, because they hadn't delivered my drawings to santa, but then mom explained that because they are so small and carrying things bigger than themselves causes difficulties for them, they make special storage places at people's homes. On the first day they bring all the presents and gifts to the storing room or place and on the last day take all the drawings to santa.

Kristjan Raud was one of the first Estonian artists who is brave enough to try and make his career in his homeland, although his talent and connections in the art world, established already during his studies in Germany and St.Petersburg would have enabled him to easily merge in either place. The long years of study in St.Petersburg, Dusseldorf and Munich ended in 1903 when Kristjan Raud settled at home. A great part of K. Rauds work is based on Estonian folklore. his drawings have been the first to give visible shape to strange and ancient creatures, ghosts, goblins and personificated natural forces and even to tales of flying lakes etc. The magic world of Kristjan Rauds drawings charms the viewer with its epic poetry. In 1935 many Estonian homws acquired a copy of their national epic Kalevipoeg illustrated by Kristjan Raud. This made his name known to his fellow countrymen. Kalevipoeg with Rauds pictures was reissued in 1975. To an

Kuidas muudab mudelprojekteerimine teraskonstruktsioonide valmistamist ja ehitamist

Dimitri Mitchell outlined in a September 2009 article in Civil Engineering entitled “The Promise of Virtual Design”, four characteristics that illustrate the construction industry. First, there is a high degree of complexity resulting from different companies collaborating on a single project. These diverse and dispersed companies are required to exchange critical information during the design and construction phases. Second, owners and other non engineering stakeholders interpret 2D drawings differently and often have an incomplete understanding of the planned construction. Third, there is a high degree of uncertainty and risk caused by site conditions. Finally, one of the biggest issues facing the construction industry, is the inability to discern constructability problems during the preconstruction phase of a project (Mitchell, 2009). To understand the effects that three-dimensional building information models are having

Among his other works, `'Mona Lisa'' is the most famous and most parodied portrait which he pained during 1503-1519. The most reproduced religious painting `'The Last Supper'' was pained by him during 1495-1498. His drawing of the `'Vitruvian Man'' is regarded as a cultural icon, being reproduced on items such as the euro coin, textbooks and t-shirts. Perhaps fifteen of his paintings have survived. His studies in science and engineering are recorded in more than 13,000 pages of notes and drawings which have found their way to major collections such as the Royal Library at Windsor Castle, the Louvre and many others. As a successful artist he was also given permission to dissect human corpses. He made over 240 detailed drawings on anatomy. During his lifetime he was also valued as an engineer. He was able to create all sorts of machines. Leonardo Da Vinci's IQ was 220 and he is widely considered one of the most diversely talented person ever to have lived

When he was about seven, Stephen became fascinated with sketching landmark London buildings. A drawing Stephen did of St. Paul's Cathedral when he was 9 . 3.slaid One of Stephen's teachers took a particular interest in him, who later accompanied his young student on drawing excursions and entered his work in children's art competitions, many of which garnered Stephen awards. The local press became increasingly suspicious as to how a young child could produce such masterful drawings. The media interest soon turned nationwide and the 7 year old Stephen Wiltshire made his first steps to launch his lifelong career. The same year he sold his first work and by the time he turned 8, he received his first commission from the British Prime Minister to create a drawing of Salisbury Cathedral. In February 1987 Stephen appeared in The Foolish Wise Ones. (The show also featured savants with musical and mathematical talents.) During his segment Hugh Casson, a

The other scene took place in 1945 when school students arranged a party. Of cource they got caught. This party implicated such much trouble that some students had to leave the school. The designer of the play was Ursula Vanamölder. Her designs and superb drawings were miracular. Musical artist of this play was Siim Aimla. He used songs from very many noted composers. Such as Veljo Tormis, Gustav Ernesaks, Mihkel Lüdig, Valter Ojakäär etc. I really liked this play. The music was really good and I was really surprised by the young actors and also the extraordinary young musicians. I wonder if they are so good at such a young age, then what great things can they do years later. I would definitely recommend this play to anyone who

Henry Moore

His forms are usually abstractions of the human figure, typically depicting mother-and-child or lying figures. Reclining line was even considered as his signature. Moore's works are usually suggestive of the female body, apart from a phase in the 1950s when he sculpted family groups. His forms are generally pierced or contain hollow spaces. Many translators liken the wavy form of his lying figures to the landscape and hills of his birthplace, Yorkshire. Moore made many preparatory sketches and drawings for each sculpture. Most of these sketchbooks have survived and provide insight into Moore's development. He placed great importance on drawing; even when he had arthritis, he still was able to draw. After the Second World War, Moore's bronzes took on their larger scale, which was particularly suited for public art commissions. As a matter of practicality, he largely abandoned direct carving, and took on several assistants to help produce maquettes. By the

Batman's original mask was inspired by the film "The Mask of Zorro", but when Kane showed his drawings to Bill Finger, they decided upon adding the distinctive points on the character's cowl to make him look more like a bat. Finger also found the original wings to be too gangly and recommended more elegant and simple scowled cape for the hero. It was also Finger's suggestion to have the hero's eyes while wearing the costume be simple white spots, which would remind the empty eyes of a bat. But these peculiarities can be mitigated or eliminated altogether. One of the main problems connected with the construction industry is that paper-based (2D) drawings are used for information exchange and constructing. Paper-based modes are prone to errors and omissions due to the reason that the drawings are created by hand and by many different parties. This often causes unanticipated field costs, delays, frictions, and eventual lawsuits between the different parties involved. A common problem associated with 2D paper-based documentation is that considerable time is needed to generate critical assessment of a proposed design in terms of cost,

First describe what your design does and then how it works. If appropriate, you can describe a scenario for its use. Include an overview line drawing (hand or CAD) but no photographs. The reason is that it is much easier to understand a design by viewing a line drawing than by viewing a photograph because the line drawing is limited to showing only the most important elements. This is why patents only have drawings and no photographs. Detailed Description This section dives down into the details of your design. Use subsections to guide the reader through this section as it will be long and complex. Start the section with a block diagram that shows the major functions or layout of the design, then use subsections to drill down into each block. For example, your design may have mechanical, electronic and software components

which benefits. That is why their opinion is worthless. Banksy work is very simple and intelligible, they always have humor (irony at least) and there is always a social overtones. And then everything depends on whether you like it or not. “People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible and childish. But that's only if it's done properly.” —Banksy CONCLUSION I believe that people should recognize street art as an art. I would like to see more of such drawings on my streets than advertising. It seems to me that there are a lot of inappropriate advertising in the world and even in our city. Advertising privatises our public spaces. Ads are placed out in the public strategically. They are built to coerce, and manipulate. They affect us, whether we want them to or not. But this is not reciprocated. Not all graffiti or street art are vandalism. In 1897 the Tate Gallery was opened to house the more modern British paintings. Most of the National Gallery collections of British paintings were transferred to the Tate, and only a small collection of a few masterpieces is now exhib-ited at Trafalgar Square. Thus, the Tate Gallery exhibits a number of interesting collections of British and foreign modern painting and also modern sculpture. The collection of Turner's paintings at the Tate includes about 300 oils and 19,000 watercolours and drawings. He was the most traditional artist of his time as well as the most original: traditional in his devotion to the Old Masters and original in his creation of new styles. It is some-times said that he prepared the way for the Impressionists. The modern collection includes the paintings of Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon and Graham Sutherland, Peter Blake and Richard Hamilton, the chief pioneers of pop art in Great Britain

José Victoriano González-Pérez (March 23, 1887 May 11, 1927), better known as Juan Gris, was a Spanish painter and sculptor who lived and worked in France most of his life. His works are closely connected to the emergence of an innovative artistic genre--Cubism, creating several of the movement's most distinctive works.[1] Biography Born in Madrid, he studied mechanical drawing at the Escuela de Artes y Manufacturas in Madrid from 1902 to 1904, during which time he contributed drawings to local periodicals. From 1904 to 1905 he studied painting with the academic artist José Maria Carbonero. It was probably in 1905 that José González adopted the more distinctive pseudonym Juan Gris.[2] In 1906 he moved to Paris and became friends with Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Fernand Léger, and in 1915 he was painted by his friend, Amedeo Modigliani. In Paris, Gris followed the lead of another friend and fellow countryman, Pablo Picasso. Although he submitted

Thanks to Galileo, Renaissance mathematicians and scientists understood beam action and the theory of framed structures. The truss, used by the Romans as stiffening on the Rhine bridge (55 BC) and in roof structures, was refined by the Italian architect- engineer Andrea Palladio. His classic treatise on Greek and Roman architecture, I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura, was published in 1570, and was widely distributed after translation into English by Isaac Ware in 1755. It contained the first drawings of a truss, the simplest and most easily visualized form for transferring both dead and live loads to piers and abutments, accomplished by a rigid self-supporting system of triangles. Palladio built several truss bridges, the most important being the Bassano Bridge (1561) over the River Brenta in the Veneto region in northern Italy. Destroyed several times, it has been carefully rebuilt faithfully following the original layout and exists today as the only example of one of Palladio's bridges.

Also recently drawings of planes and spaceships, motorcycles, buses, cars and other transport became widespread. Presumably the transport image is a prototype of traditional symbols, such as a bird, the river, the road, the ship. whether they were bred for body type or purely for colour and pattern with little regard for shape. Another problem is that artists often stylize their illustrations. The extinct Annamese from Vietnam is also considered by some to be the ancestor of modern Siamese and that the Siamese cat of Thailand arose through interbreeding Birman and Annamese cats. An early description of the Seal Point Siamese in 1676 calls it "Vichien Mas" (meaning "diamond mouth") and drawings depict extreme expression of the colourpoint pattern - dark ears, nose, paws and whiskers. A cat with Siamese markings appeared on an old engraving discovered by the naturalist Pallas on his journey into Southern Russia between 1793 and 1794. It was the opinion of Sir Russell Gordon (who closely studied these cats) and Auguste Pavie (French explorer and one time resident at Bangkok), that the Siamese cat derived from a cross between the Burmese Temple Cat (i.e. Burmese, not the Birman which

The picture-gallery, and two or three of the principal bedrooms, were all that remained to be shown. In the former were many good paintings; but Elizabeth knew nothing of the art; and from such as had been already visible below, she had willingly turned to look at some drawings of Miss Darcy's, in crayons, whose subjects were usually more interesting, and also more intelligible. In the gallery there were many family portraits, but they could have little to fix the attention of a stranger. Elizabeth walked in quest of the only face whose features would be known to her. At last it arrested her--and she beheld a striking resemblance to Mr. Darcy, with such a smile over the face as she remembered to have sometimes seen when he looked at her
