Prompt #3
We all have to make a decision about what to do with our lives after graduating from high school. Many people start to think about it in their early years . Some of us struggle with it even after graduating. Lucky are those who have had a specific goal in mind for long enough where they can keep an eye on the target and know what they need to do and work on it right away .
Aviation has always been one of my biggest intrests since the eighth grade. I became interested in it after my brother had applied to the Estonian Aviation Academy . Unfortunately he did not make it and, of course , my desire to become an air traffic controller began to increase due to

Edulugude võistlus

Even so, it is unfair to say that schools which are situated in big towns are giving better education than the ones in small towns. Mostly, examination results are being compared, when making this kind of statistics. I truly believe that the only difference between schools is that some institutions just give better conditions for students. At the moment I am studying in Hugo Treffner Gymnasium and this school is highly valued in our country. After finishing the basic school, I knew that I would like to continue my studies in that school. The main reason was the fact that in Hugo Treffner Gymnasium it was possible to study social sciences extensively. The contest was hard to get in, but I had set a goal and I managed to fulfill my expectations. This school has given me better conditions to study the subjects which interest me. Still I think it is wrong to say that so called valued schools are essential for a good education

CHANGE YOUR THINKING CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Even though I wanted to be a big success in life, I was unskilled, uneducated, and unem- ployed. I had no idea what I could do to improve my situation. I felt trapped between big ideas on the one hand and limited resources and opportunities on the other. Then I discovered a series of re- markable principles that have been responsible for all the great suc- cesses and achievements of the ages, and my life changed forever. After proving these laws and principles in my own life, I began speaking, and training others to apply the same ideas. Since then, I have given more than two thousand talks and seminars as long as four days in length, in 24 countries, to a total of more than two mil- lion participants. Most of them were also skeptical when they first heard these ideas of optimism and possibility, until they learned what you are going to learn in the pages ahead

Education

much to educators. Since I don't have an educational theory neatly worked-out, nor an outline of my perceptions, my intent is to address each educational ingredient that comes to my mind. After I've said what I think about each topic, readers may have a fair comprehension of my philosophy. First comes sensitivity. If a person be insensitive, be it from numbing cold, exhaustion, drugs, genetic makeup, or upbringing, then the process of education is bogged down, and results come only after great efforts. Sensitivity in my integrated meaning is broad, covering literally the senses, so that deaf and blind people are less sensitive, as well as people whose senses work perfectly, but whose receptivity or thought processes are blunted for whatever reason. A person can be insensitive in one way, such as blind, and extraordinarily sensitive in another way, such as in hearing. It is also possible to be so ultra-sensitive that the result is disadvantageous

button, and happily pulled the covers back over my head for another seven years. 2000 2006 (Writing is really hard for me, and I’m always happy to have a reason not to do it. Give me a good old root canal over writing any day.) So why now, finally, a new edition? Two reasons. #1. Let’s face it: It’s old There’s no doubt about it at this point: It feels dated. After all, it’s thirteen years old, which is like a hundred years in Internet time. (See? Nobody even says things like “in Internet time” anymore.) Most of theWebpages I used for examples, like Senator OrrinHatch’scampaign site for the 2000 election, look really old- fashionednow. Sites these days tend to look a lot more sophisticated, as you might expect. www.orrinhatch.com1999 www.orrinhatch.com2012

Vocabulary: championship -- tournament -- to cheer -- water-polo -- cycling -- diving -- fencing -- gymnastic -- rowing -- weight-lifting -- wrestling -- fan -- Summer Way of Spending Time In my opinion there is a great number of different ways of spending summer holidays. It depends on person, on his culture, education, age, social level and personal tastes and preferences. So, everyone likes his own way of summertime spending. It is a great pleasure to have a rest after a whole year of hard work or study. People like to travel during their summer holidays. Some people go abroad to see new countries, some people prefer to go to the country- side to enjoy country-life far from noise and fuss of big cities. Other people like staying at home doing nothing, but watching TV and playing computer games. Some people like to spend their holidays in cities, visiting theatres, museums and going sightseeing. But a great number of people go to the seaside.

A New Earth

............................183 The New Earth Is No Utopia.....................................................................184 Notes...........................................................................................................186 About the Author........................................................................................189 CHAPTER ONE THE FLOWERING OF HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS EVOCATION Earth, 114 million years ago, one morning just after sunrise: The first flower ever to appear on the planet opens up to receive the rays of the sun. Prior to this momentous event that heralds an evolutionary transformation in the life of plants, the planet had already been covered in vegetation for millions of years. The first flower probably did not survive for long, and flowers must have remained rare and isolated phenomena, since conditions were most likely not yet favorable for a widespread flowering to occur.
