My room

My room I live in a comfortable city flat in a 9-stored block of flats not far from the centre of Tallinn. It is not a very green place, but still there are many trees around the house and in summer the yard looks very beautiful and cozy. The house is located comfortably because there a few supermarkets, pharmacies around. My flat is on the first floor. It's very comfortable and well-planned. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony. The largest room in our flat is the living room and me and my husband room too. My family uses it as a sitting room. On the left there is my bed and desk. The desk has a lot of drawers where I keep my text-books, notes, pens, pencils and other necessary things. On the right there is a sofa and a built-in wardrobe. In the right corner there is a comfortable arm-chair. Beside it stands a lamp with blue shade. I like to turn on the lamp, sit in the arm-chair and read an interesting book.

My Ideal Room

My Ideal Room My ideal room should be a medium sized. It would have probably more than one window, to have more natural light. There might be some stylish curtains in front of windows; their color might be something in the middle, not too dark, but also not too light. Walls, which would be covered with wallpaper, would be the same type, as the curtains. I'd probably have hard floor, which would have maybe one carpet on it. All the furniture, I'd have in my room, would be in some kind of a brownish

My perfect room

My perfect room My perfect room would be spacious. On the wall would be white wallpaper with light pink flowers. There would be a wooden floor with some fluffy carpets and a massive bed with a soft fluffy duvet wrapped in white, freshly washed 100% cotton covers. There would be a big fireplace with a beautiful painting on the wooden mantelpiece. An overstuffed cosy armchair with a soft blanket would be in front of the fireplace and a big cupboard would be next to the bed

My favourite room

My favourite room I love my house and especially my own room. I am very interested in Feng Shui and I try to decorate my room for this style. When you decorate room you put there a piece of your soul. With room, where I moved five years ago, I have a lot of memories. The main object of the bedroom is a bed. Remember like in evening I lied there and read books, studied, dreamed. Sometimes mom came to me. She could always listen to me and give advice. From time to time we just lied in bed, talked about life, education, love and boys. My room is bright, simple and very comfortable. It's spacious, but not

To Room Nineteen

“To Room Nineteen” “To room nineteen” is considered to be one of the best short stories by Doris Lessing. The book takes place in a mid-twentieth century in London suburb. It gives insight about women’s rights and London society on these days. Showes how the perfect lives as they seemed from outside, acctually weren’t that ideal on the inside. The book itself is about a middle-aged woman, Susan, whose life is spinning around her four children, ideal husband and lovely home. Everything seems to be just perfect

Book Report: The Spare Room

I read a book called The Spare Room. It is written by Helen Garner who is an Australian writer and journalist. She was born on 7th November in Geelong and now lives in Victoria. This novel has won several awards and that's one of the reasons I chose to read it. The Spare Room talks about a 64-year woman Helen who lives in Melbourne, Australia. One day, her friend Nicola who lives in Sydney calls and asks if she could stay with her for three weeks. The reason she calls is that she is a cancer patient who needs to be taken care of. As they have been friends for a long time, Helen gave her consent and welcomed Nicola in her home. In Melbourne Helen also has a treatment in an institution called the Theodore. Chemo

House of my dreams

House of my dreams Vsevolod Dolgov So, today I want to tell you about my house and house of my dreams. I live in a three-bedroom flat with my mother and brother. Our flat is very big, well, it is very big for me. It is very warm in there, but my mom says it's cold. I have my own room, and it is very cool, because it is like my own flat. I have all my things in there, such things like: a computer, books, my big bed, a guitar and diplomas. There, in my room, is all my life, if you want to know something about me, all you need is to visit my room. We live on the ground floor, and because of that, we do not get a lot of sun in the flat. Our city is not so big, but we live far from the center, our house is in the north-east of the city- it is about fifteen minutes by bus. But it is not so bad, in big cities you need fifty minutes! That’s why I love my city. My dream house should be located outside the city, where I can find true

So it does not take much time to go to the shop and you have a very good opportunity to go jogging in the morning. Further, the rent is not expensive, only 800£ a month. Secondly, the house is very nice and spacious. It is a new stone building house or as the owner calls it, a castle. You do not have to worry about furnish, because it is fully- furnished. It has 2 floors and it contains 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Then, it has a large dining room with fireplace, modern fitted large kitchen, central heating, built-in wardrobes and a living room. Also, house has got a driveway as well as garage. In addition, it has a large garden and a patio in the backyard. So, if the weather is good you can make a barbecue and a house warming in the backyard. Finally, that's all for now. I look forward to your opinion. If you want, I can send you a pictures or talk to the owner, Mr Joe, for you. Just give me a call if you have any questions

My ideal home

My ideal home I have always dreamed about my ideal home. My dreams are not big. I would rather live in a small house in a cosy place. I would prefer country. If i would have a big garden i would be happy. My wife could work in the garden. My ideal home would have 2 floors with a basement. In the basement there should be a big room where i could relax. There should also be a gym and a sauna. That room should have a big couch around the room and a big table in the middle. On the ground floor there should be the kitchen with the latest technology. The fridge should be full of food. The living room should also be on that floor. It should have all comforts. The first floor should be the floor where are the bedrooms. There should be my and my wifes bedroom and our childern bedrooms. Also there should be the guests room. I think my dreams aren´t so big that I can not make them true. I`m looking forward to live in my dream home.

Beside the saunahouse there is a grilling place, where you can enjoy barbecueing, when the weather allows you to. Now I'll talk about the house itself. Main entrance is a big oaken door. When entering, we can see a stairway heading to the second floor in the right and in the left a coatroom. Right in front of us is a living room, with big leather couches and a huge home movie-theatre. There are self-made sofa cushions on the couch and a rug made out of recycled old clothes. Dining room and the kitchen are separated from the living room with a wall. Kitchen is fully-equipped and there you can find everything you need. A big table, where the family gathers in the evenings, is in the dining room. As I love fire, you can find a fireplace and a lots of candles, which make me feel warm inside in the cold winter nights

Nimetu

There are two approaches to music therapy for children: The therapy session can be one-on-one or in a group setting. When a therapist meets with a child for the first time, it is good for the therapist and the child to come up with goals for him or her to meet during the duration together. Music therapy can help children with communication problems, attention, motivation, and behavioral problems. The setup of the room where the session takes place is very important, in order to make the child feel comfortable and to allow the child to produce the music right. It should be a room dedicated for music. There shouldn't be other distracting things in the room. The room needs to be well lit and the temperature of the room should be moderate; it shouldn't be too hot or cold. It is important that the room offers easy access, in case they have a wheelchair.

There's not much space, therefore, this is fulfilled only essential things. On the right hand, there is a low cupboard, which is next to the vase of globeflowers. On the opposite wall, there is rocking chair and a peg. The ceiling is painted white and cream colored carpet covers the parquet. The next room consists of dining and livingroom. This is the biggest and the brightest room in this house. A rich mintcream walls and hardwood floors these two are well contrasted with furniture. One wall is all glass with a nice view of the ocean, so it's left almost uncovered. Only dining table and four chairs in oak are located close to it. This way you should have a good view at sunset. It is even better in autumn and spring, when you can enjoy it at dinner time

Dear Ann, I am writing to you from my new house, that I just moved in yesterday. The house really looks fantastic, it is surrounded with a luxuriant garden. And it's a quiet area, but the best thing about it is that it is less that kilometer from the city center. Inside, the house is nice and comfortable. It has two floors. On the ground floor there is bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. Upstairs there is my own huge bedroom and bathroom. I hope I'll see you here soon, darling! Yours sincerely, Katrin Agejeva

I only need to add one white nightstand where I can put the candles on and two orange lamps and the room will be so comfortable yet so easy. On the first floor there is a kitchen and living room. I love open plan because it makes the room much bigger and it is more useful

Letter of complaint

Dec 11, 2011 Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you about my bad experiences I had while staying at your hotel from 1st of December to 4th of December. First of all, I stayed at a small room with noisy guests in the next room. Although, I had been told that I would be staying at a large private room far away from other guests. Second of all, the food was terrible. However, the brochure said that you have one of the best chefs in your hotel and that the food will be amazing. Furthermore, when I got the bill, I was shocked how overcharged I was. I assume you will replace my bad experiences with a full refund. I hope that this will not happen anymore and you improve your service. Yours faithfully, Kristi Rapper

My dream home

My dream home My dream home would be a beautiful two-storey detached house in a small town. The house is surrounded by a nice garden full of gorgeous plants and a lot of types of flowers. I would also hire a gardener, so I can have time for my other duties. There are many spacious rooms in my house that are in well-lit and pastel tones. There are a living room, a kitchen and lightly coloured guest room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is also a living room, two nurseries, a toilet and a study with a bookshelf that covers the entire wall. I would hang pictures of my travelles on the walls, so it's easier to talk about my trips to my friends and family. As I'm the quiet type I would like to have the house in the suburbs. I think it would be nice if it were to be a gated community.

Chat rooms

Not at all. Just be aware of what you are doing and saying, and if you have small children, be sure to monitor their activity on the Internet. There are several programs, as I recall, that allow parents to track what their children are seeing and doing while on-line. One of the biggest threats on chat rooms is the presence of pedophiles, online stalkers and other predators always looking to exploit the vulnerabilities of pre-teens and young teens. Chat room regulars can become easily disconnected from real-life activities and extra-curricular pursuits, leading to general aloofness, less contact with real- world friends and a gradual process of social disengagement. Thats a good question. And it all depends on how responsible your child really is - and what kind of relationship you have with them. Chat rooms are the most common place kids find themselves getting into trouble. And it's important to remember that online predators often hang out in

Complaint letter

Dear Sir, My name is ... I am writing this letter following my stay at your hotel, Hotel Titanic. I stayed in room 603 from September 3rd to September 10th. I am wiriting becouse of the poor level of service and overall an unpleasant experience. When I first got to the hotel, I had to wait for 15 minutes in the reception before a young woman came, and helped us book in. Throughout my stay I was served mediocre food. The bathroom wasen't cleaned properly and the room servise was pretty bad. The room servise rearly changed my bed sheets and towels. There were 6 power-cuts wich each lasted for atleast 2 minutes. Worse still, I had an extremly noisy neighbour who was entertaining his visitors until 4 AM, two nights in a row. I even complained to the manager but that didn't impove the situation until the third day. Overall the stay wasen't worth the cost but I am not asking for a chargeback. I just hope that you

Getting physical

dynamic communicate more than our actual spoken words. A stiff, immobile speaker is often a boring and usually ineffective speaker as. It is therefore essential to know how to be physically relaxed, which will allow your actions to complement your words. Before we start, two important definitions: A podium is the raised platform at the front of the room where speakers stand to deliver presentations; it is also called the dais (pronounced dayus). The stand used to hold notes is called the lectern. A lectern can be a short stand placed atop a table, or it can be a freestanding unit with a light, microphone, and sometimes a clock attached. The terms podium and lectern are often interchanged and misused, and for that reason, the skilled speechmaker should know this distinction. THE EYES

Agatha Cristie - The Clocks

Book Review I read a book The Clocks by Agatha Cristie. It is an exciting detective story about a investigation that takes place when a unknown dead male was found in a blind lady's hotel room. The dead body was found when the blind lady, Miss Pebmarsh called to the secretary bureau and needed a stenographer to her room at three o' clock. The stenographist, Sheila Webb found the body lying on the ground after she went in. The investigation begins when two police inspectors Colin Lamb and Dick Hardcastle start to question people who lived nearby. Since the police dont get very far, Hercule Poirot is hired to solve the case. Particular intrest in this story will be on Josiah Bland and Valerie Bland, because it is found that Josiah had another wife long time ago, who is now dead. The family
