Biggest dangers to wild animals in Estonia.

What are the biggest dangers to wild animals in Estonia? Wild animals in Estonia, like in many other places in the world, are in danger. Forest industry, agriculture and other human activities in the nature, as well as pollution, disturb and even endanger the life of wild animals. Firstly, big forest machines disturb animals. For example, in winter the machines disturb animals who hibernate in winter. As a result, animals can leave their habitations and go somewhere else where is quiter. In addition to disturbing animals, the forest industry endanger wild animals' lives. Some machines can simply kill some animals accidentally. Besides, there are some species which are rear in Estonian forests. These species should be protected. A further problem is poaching- although it is not a very big problem in Estonia, it affects the number of animals. There are, however, a lot of wild animals in ou...

The Most Influential Figures in British History

The Most Influential Figures in British History There are many important historical figures, who have helped shape Britain into what it is today. In my opinion Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill are the ones who stand out and have had the biggest impact on British history. Firstly, Elizabeth I made a great impression on British history as she kept England from major wars during her reign, the kingdom expanded and she supported culture. The rule of Elizabeth I can be called a peaceful time as England did not enter any huge conflicts. She managed to keep good relations with other great countries. However, the defeat of the Spanish Armada left no one questioning the superiority of the British navy. In addition, the kingdom’s

Bollywood's biggest problem is piracy - where people copy the films and either sell them or show them to other people for free. The Great Guild/Suurgild

The Great Guild Liisbeth Kallakmaa The Great Guild Medieval Tallinn's social institutions were guilds and brotherhoods, whose main function was to provide members with social interactions and ensure their rights, but also played an important political and economic role. Tallinn had three important guilds - The Great Guild, St. Canute's Guild and St. Olaf's guild. The Great Guild was the youngest among them, founded in the 14th century, but soon became the biggest and most important. It was founded as an organization of the wealthiest merchants and shipowners. The name of the Great Guild was introduced in the late 15th century. There were close ties between the guild and the town rules: only members of the Great Guild had the right to belong to the town council and could be elected for mayor. Tallinn's small coat of arms is also the Great Guild's coat of arms. Guild was led by Alderman, with the assistance of two advisers

1. Which are the main cornerstones of EU-Russia cooperation? Which have been the main developments and success stories in this partnership in 2000-2012? Which side is more interested? The main cornerstones of the EU and Russia relations are the trade and energy relations. One biggest breakthrough has been gas pipeline Nord Stream. Russia is the third biggest trade partner of the EU and is the main importer of gas and crude oil. The economic benefits are the biggest cornerstones of the relations. Cooperation between Russia and the European Union progressively strengthens in foreign policy and security issues, in combating illegal migration, organised crime and terrorism. The main achievement of recent years, which can be hardly overestimated, is the understanding increasingly gaining ground that partnership between Russia and the EU is one of the cornerstones of maintaining stability and prosperity not only in Europe, but world-wide.

air. Some people prefer to live in the country for ecological reasons. For example, eating home- grown or locally grown food may easily become a part of lifestyle. Some people even raise their own animals. Accordingly, because cars are not idling in traffic there is less smog. However, there are some negative aspects of living in the rural area. For some, the lack of entertainment and smaller community is the biggest turn-off. Others are concerned about distances between two points, especially if an accident has happened and medical care is needed. What is worrying is also the fact that the unemployment rate is also much higher in the countryside than in the city. Living in the non-urban area has both advantages and disadvantages. I think that the biggest advantages are fresh air, scenic landscapes and comfort. As with anywhere, living in the country has its drawbacks

Car v. walking

People are buying more cars than ever, and are starting to forget what is walking; they tend to forget that walking is also one of the ways of traveling. But which is better travelling by car or walking on foot? On the one hand, travelling by car is much quicker than travelling on foot, on foot, people are travelling about 5 km/h, but with car, you can travel so fast, how fast you are allowed to. Also, car is much more comfortable, especially nowadays. But the biggest plus in travelling by car in my opinion, is that, when you are travelling by car you can travel long distances, but when you are walking, you can travel about 10 km and then human organism needs a rest. But there is no healthier travelling way than walking; when people are walking every day their health becomes strong and when human body is trained and strong, then it is strong against illness. On the other hand, travelling by car isn't so good and healthy as it seems. Some
