Life in Estonia through the eyes of an economics student With a population of 1 313 271 people, Estonia is one of the least populous member states of the European Union. However, according to the IMF, it is a developed country with an advanced and high-income economy. Estonia follows market economy system which ensures the little government intervention and the determination of prices of goods and services in a free price system. Therefore, economic decisions are guided solely by the aggregate interactions of a country's citizens and businesses. In addition to mentioned afore, Estonia tends to perform favourably in measurements of civil liberties, education, and press freedom. Living in Estonia has many of its good sides, for instance it is a secure place from nature disasters and it has a beautiful nature. Although, when not to look only through rose-tinted glasses, there are still some minuses in country’s organiz...
Life in Estonia through the eyes of an economics student I have been studying economics for a few months now and I would not say that my point of view on life in Estonia has changed. There are some things I recently started to look on differently but I am not sure is it because of TUT or not. Through my entire life I have seen Estonia as a strong and fast growing country which is also a fact because Estonian economy was one of the fastest growing in the world until 2006 with growth rates even exceeding 10% annually. I find it being quite impressive. There are some fields which Estonia can fill with supplies by itself. We are nearly energy independent country, supplying over 90% of our electricity need with locally mined oil shale. Estonia has also an alternative energy sources such as wood and peat. I could call myself earth friendly because I love walking around the forest and breading some fresh air but I do not li...

SUMMARY Smart devices are nowadays widely used by most of the peole. Smartphones and computers are used in schools, at work and at free time for social interaction and communication. Using these devices can affect the condition of an eye. Eye is an organ in both humans and other animals, which allows the living creature to see. Smart devices radiate different light. THE POOR FARMER'S DAUGHTERS Once upon a time there lived a poor farmer who only had seven children as his treasure. They were all girls, named after every famous queen the country had had. However, none of them was his child they were all orphans, found in the nearby forest many years ago, during the Great War. The eldest one was Margaret; she had long dark shiny hair and big blue eyes. She was a true beauty compared to the other maidens at the village. However, she had a bad side as well the only one she ever cared about was she herself. And when living at the county-side, being an egoist is not good. Lucia was the next. This year she would turn 16 if she hadn't played with a magical potion in the childhood. But, unfortunately, she fell in the kettle filled with liquor of youth and now remains as a 10-year-old for the rest of her life. It's sad, but at least she looks

Why is the rainbow so different?“ I asked him. My friend didn’t answer. Suddenly I heard something strange. The city gates opened and an army of monsters came in. They were all dressed in black. They had big teeth and they were carrying swords and gems. They had a very similar faces to humans, but something was different. They had tales. I couldn’t understand whether they were humans or animals. I was really scared. Suddenly they shot my friend. I was shocked and I couldn’t believe my eyes. People ran away screaming, some even fainted. I was upset and didn’t know what to do. I closed my eyes for a second. Tears fell down on my face and I asked myself: „Did I really just see, how my best friend died?“ I knew that I had to take myself together. I opened my eyes, stood up and took a guy which was laying in front of me. It was very wet because of the heavy rain. I tried to kill the monster that killed my friend but I couldn’t – the gun didn’t work
internet. Internet has became very popular because for low price you can send letters, chat with your friends live in msn and even have video conversations with them. Furthermore, the internet is like a world biggest library. There is a lot of information about everything. For example, if you want to know the name of Estonian president you will find it in the internet,in few minutes. In the other hand, sitting too many hours in computer is not good for your eyes. For example, more and more people are wearing classes because of watching the screen everyday. Takeing everything into consideration internet is very important, because it makes many things much easier. Unfortunately it is not good for our eyes and being too much in computer might harm our eyes.
13, 4 %.I think that is normal, because we use our fingers all the time and it is easy to cut into yourself . If you have injured yourself with a knife , then you should try to stop the bleeding and use a plaster. The second most common injuries happen to your skulls 6,5 %. You might hurt your skull by falling or getting hit by something. If you do injure your skull then it is better to see a doctor, who will tell you what to do. This graph shows that eyes are injured also quite commonly-6,1 %. Your eyes might get hurt because of wind or something might fall into them. If your eyes are, hurt then you should use eye drops, and if they are not helping, then go and see a doctor. To conclude, according to this graph people injure themselves in many different ways. It shows that the most common way to injure yourself is by falling. I don't really know how to improve it, because people will always be injuring themselves by accident.
For my big sister, Emily, without whose enthusiasm this story might still be unfinished. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17 PREFACE I'd never given much thought to how I would die -- though I'd had reason enough in the last few months -- but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. I stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at me. Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something. I knew that if I'd never gone to Forks, I wouldn't be facing death now. But, terrified as I was, I couldn't bring myself to regret the decision. When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

Batman's original mask was inspired by the film "The Mask of Zorro", but when Kane showed his drawings to Bill Finger, they decided upon adding the distinctive points on the character's cowl to make him look more like a bat. Finger also found the original wings to be too gangly and recommended more elegant and simple scowled cape for the hero. It was also Finger's suggestion to have the hero's eyes while wearing the costume be simple white spots, which would remind the empty eyes of a bat. Finger later acknowledged that the idea had come from another superhero, the Phantom, who also wore a black mask with no visible eyes. II The Story of the Hero The fictional American Gotham City based on New York or more specifically, in the words of Finger it is "Manhattan below Fourteenth Street at eleven minutes past

I look rather like any human being I have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. Maybe my head is a bit bigger than usual but it is very beautiful. Actually I am glad to be a bit different from humans as I don't really see the different in their faces. I mean they all look alike. It would be way easier if some had, let's say, both eyes on one side of their nose. I love my life. I sit here, with my legs crossed, on this high and narrow wall and I am not afraid to fall. Well and even if I did fall, which will never happen, then the king promised me to send all his horses and his men and put me in my place again. But there is no need for it since this wall is my home and I am very sure in my capability of staying here. My most valuable asset is my cravat. It sometimes upsets me when others can't tell the

They are now called Amber and Light Amber. The Amber effect is due to the extension gene (also called red factor) which controls the production of red and black pigment. The dominant version of the gene produces normal black pigment in the coat while the recessive version produces red pigment. The name comes from the effect of black or brown pigment not being extended throughout the whole coat, but being restricted to the skin of the extremities and to the eyes (for example in bay horses). This Norwegian Forest Cat was bred by Yve Hamilton Bruce from a silver mackerel tabby female (imported from Denmark) and a classic red tabby and white male. When furious, her eyes have a poisonous flame of danger in it; when glad, her silent praise is like the soft wind of pleasing sakuras. Every day we spend no matter the emotional appearance, is filled with lots of happy laughter and fun remarks no other teacher even notices about her students: my teacher is a really special, yet mysterious person. The man stared wide eyed at the blushing girl who obviously wanted to ask something, but was feeling that this question wasn't very polite. "What is it?" he asked her then. The princess turned her eyes off him and was staring at the library door now. The man got closer to her. "Your highness..." he whispered, but no answer was given. She didn't even turn her eyesight to him. Then the man smiled and said as gently as he could, "Eliza..." The princess blushed even deeper now and turned slowly her head. Eyes still low she said," Are you his father, Edward de la Valjerio?" The man wanted to laugh and cry at the same moment, but then he suddenly hugged her and a gentle kiss was exchanged.

It was a perfectly ordinary Friday evening. Dark, muddy and full moon shining in the sky.Parents decided to go to our summer cottage on this weekend. It is a little old house in the woods, but not far from our house there are ohter summer cottages. Father helped us carry things into the house, after that sister and I decided to take a walk in the woods. Mom asked us to be careful, because people were talking about a creature that was hairy, fast and with bloody eyes and sharp teeth. We thought it is unbelivable and funny, just for people could have something to talk about. After all it seemed impossible. We took different way than usually. We walked until we came to an old, ugly, deserted house. Curiosity was so great that we forgot mom's advice. Approaching the house we saw window frames covered with cobwebs . We decided to open the door even tough we were frightened... Creeeek! We trembled and took a step back .

She hated that but since she was only seventeen her opinion was often unheard. Nobody cared that she hadn't even wanted to move there. A big house with three storeys and an attic is usually the place where all scary movies take place and she knew that. Ella was feeling terrified. She was on the ground floor, in the living room. It wasn't exactly the best place to be in, since the walls of the room were covered with old paintings of men with harrowing looks in their eyes, eyes that seemed to be moving. But she couldn't move. The thought of being anywhere, closer to the attic made her faint. Ella was sitting on the couch and listening to her favourite song, trying not to hear the howling wind and the baying of distant dogs outside. The volume was set almost unbearably loud because she knew that all scary movies started with the main character hearing footsteps or creaking from the attic. She pretended to read a magazine and hum along with the music
When she woke up, she was lying on the floor of a beautiful castle. There were flowers everywhere, but no doors as she noticed soon. "Where oh Earth am I?" the girl wondered now. She wasn't scared, just tired of the work she had to do on her father's farm. Suddenly, strange music of a lonely violin started playing. The melody was so unhappy that Shatelie wanted to cry. She didn't see anyone, yet the music was so close to her heart! "You're so sad," she said and closed her eyes to listen, but an unexpected silence arrived. "Why?" asked Shatelie now, "Continue, please! Your violin brought me here from a totally different world... So don't stop! Please! Before I disappear again..." "Who are you?" a scared man's voice called," This is the cursed castle of the Devil are you a Demon, his servant?" Shatelie laughed saying, "The Devil? Here? But there are so many nice flowers around!" "Flowers?" "Yes! Come and have a look yourself if you are so superstitious!"

Besides, now you have Bingo with you," I tried to comfort her. I winked at her while she was closing the hatch behind me. I made it back to the house and I screamed for my parents. I was panicking and losing hope when I suddenly heard a clattering noise from upstairs. I bounded up the stairs and searched for them. "We are here! Help us!" I heard them shouting in the attic. Kadi Bruus I felt tears in my eyes when I opened the attic hatch. Never have I ever been so happy to see my parents. We hugged and hurried back to the shelter. The lashing rain washed the tears from my eyes. Now safely in the shelter, dry and warm clothes on, I can relax and listen to the nature telling us how magnificent and fierce it can be.
