When there is a problem or a difficult situation people do not think how can they solve it. They think, "Where is my bottle of vodka?'' There are several possible solutions to this problem. What clearly needs to be done is to encourage people to handle their problems without using alcohol. Lots of moments in this book were really similar to some periods of my life and many relatives seemed very similar to characters of this book. Many people think that our school system is out of date and we should make it more modern. Even teachers and students say that some changes need to be made. Maybe our government should consultate more with poeple who know the real situtation, when they create new laws. If I were minister of education I would deffenetly prefere American educational system to Russian. Our children should do more practical exercises in school and develop creative thinking. Stress of the Young people Today I think every young people have been faced with stress, like feeling exhausted or undrer excessive pressure. It may cause a desire to run far away from problems just because couldn't cope with it. The main thing in school age peoples what causes stress is probably school. We use private cars just to go to the supermarket but we could just take the buss or walk wich is much more environment friendly. The one that we do the most is leaving rubbish around that doesn`t turn into compost. We should save energy by just turning off the electic appliances when we don`t use them.
Dear Jaanika, It's been a while since we last wrote, so I thought I'd drop you a line to bring you up to date with what's been happening here. Actually, right now I'm laying under the palm tree and having a nice vacation at Bahama Island. I've been here for a week already and the time is just flowing by. I'm planning to relax and enjoy my vacation for another 2 weeks. Then I have to fly back home and start to work hard. But as a matter of fact I'm already thinking about my summer plans. I'm kind a sure that it wont be that relaxing at all, because I've thought about some money collecting. So my plans are that the first 2 months I'll mostly spend working. I have lived all my life with my mum . Sometimes it is hard but I don 't even imagine what life I would have if I should live with my dad . Because I don 't trust him . He was very violent to my mum . He is never there If I need him . My father should pay us alimony every month . He did it few months but now he has not sent us the alimony abot three months . Everytime when he came to our village , he didn 't came to visit us or to ask how we live . I have been thinking about him lately . Just wanna know how is he , is everyting OK and just wanna see him . I think that I don 't even recognize him when i should see him .
Positive sides of the economic recession The economic recession is inevitable. Without it people would not have any understanding about how economy works and what are the future expectations. During the recession people start thinking about cheaper ways of living. Since the monthly income might not be as brave as it was before, they turn their attention to discounted alternative products and find out that for example it may be possible to use low-priced detergents instead of purchasing a highly recommended one and double the expense. Mercy killing should not be punished. People with terminal illness usually experience a lot suffering and when they have a choice whether to live in pain and be a burden to their family and hospital or die in peace, many usually prefer the second choice. Some prefer to die with dignity and if mercy killing would be punished they simply would have the freedom of choose. On the other hand mercy killing should be punished. If mercy killing becomes something usual younger people might start thinking life has a smaller value. A tremendous amount of resources is used to keep the terminally ill people alive and doctors might start using euthanasia as something to save up the resources. In the end it all comes down to the person himself, whether he wants to live or die, and being punished for helping another person end his suffering should not be allowed.
I shouldn’t have booked this trip alone. I should have invited a friend with me. Rest of the group standing few hundred meters away from me were punks. I mean literally punk people with their weird hairstyles and entirely dressed in black. They seemed so terryfing to me. Few of them noticed me standing here and they gave me smirky smiles. That scared me even more. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy this trip with these guys? I started walking slowly towards them, thinking that maybe I should turn around and not go to this trip. But I payed so much money and waited for this journey for so long. I reached the group and I was shaking a little. But you know what? They turned out to be the nicest and friendliest people and I had the best trip ever with them. People should have the right to design their own babies. Have you ever caught yourself thinking about what if you had the power to design your own baby? Most likely everyone has. It is every parent's hope that their child will turn out to be a perfect human being without any physical or mental disabilities. But is it moral? First of all, if parents could design their own baby everyone would be perfect. What is more there would not be any babies born with illnesses or disabilities, both mental and physical
But definately that day would help me see the world as the way boys see it. And I think that day would help me a lot in my following life because probably I would understand the life better beacause I could see it from different corners. If I could experience one day as a boy I think without doubt it would change many things and viewpoints of my life. Definitely I would like to have a day like this. So I think it would be very useful to me to study in your greenest school on earth and I can share my experiences and knowledge with your school and students. I am applying to the Green School for several reasons. I am usually dealing with music, but I have taken part of chemistry workshops for a two years. My wish is to improve my English skills about green thinking and ecology. I also want to learn more about this holistic vision what you are practising on your students. And when we don't then we have to accept with something not so good. If we fail to do something that we have planned. Like when we fail an exam. Then our school results aren't so good, that all affects our future and our plans to go to colleges and universities. And when we don't achieve our goals, then our life is a little bit more complicated. We can't go to the universities we wish. We can all avoid some bad things and wrong decisions we make, by thinking everything trough and by planning our future. We have to make our goals clear and we have to try to achieve them. Life is unfair, but never surrender and always keep trying for better results. Because when you surrender you won't achieve anything.
