Chinese government $1 million a year in fees, as part of a typical ten- year contract. On the other hand, zoos can be useless to keep specific animal species because they do not give their residents accurate copy of natural habitat. Lions can not have an active lifestyle because the area around them is too small and as for polar bears, who need low temperature for existence it is impossible to turn zoo into so said natural habitat. In conclusion, zoos are necessary alternatives to a natural environment. Not only zoos can protect animals from being poached, but also can help research centers, that try to find the solution to rebuild original natural environment and help animals to reproduce. There are big organizations such as UNESCO and WAZA that are sure that zoos are irreplaceable. SHIP DISPOSAL ESTONIAN MARITIME ACADEMY SCHOOL ERIK ALVISTE 2009 SHIP DISPOSAL The Maritime Administration's management approach is to remove all vessels that present the highest risk to the environment as soon as possible, and to have disposal alternatives and the necessary funding in place to ensure that obsolete vessels can be disposed of at a rate greater than obsolete vessels coming into the Maritime Administration's fleets. Ship disposal methods There are 4 methods for ship disposal. 1. Domestic Recycling Through ship sales offers and direct fee-for-service solicitation. The program awards ship recycling contracts to seven domestic ship recyclers. 2. Artificial Reefing The Maritime Administration accepts
Should class attendance be mandatory for university students? It has been heavily debated, whether class attendance in general should be compulsory or optional. While most people can agree on the necessity of class attendance in elementary, as well as secondary school being obligatory, then opinions on required class attendance at university are quite divided. Both two alternatives have their respective up- and downsides but all aspects considered, which is more beneficial? To start off, the students’ chosen specialty usually reflects their interests which means that said students, in fact, want to attend classes. In this case, it seems unnecessary to make classes mandatory as it will be more time consuming and virtually even pointless for them to explain their reason for absence. After all, it is relatively common that when students take interest in a

There are five drive-in restaurants in Tallinn, two in Tartu and one in Pärnu, Narva and Saaremaa. In the near future we are planning to expand into Nordic countries. The Greenery does not have many competitors, because the most fast food restaurants do not offer many healthy food alternatives. What differentiates us in the marketplace is that we focus on procuring organic and local food and each guest can easily customize the meal to their specific taste and diet requirements. The menu will offer seven categories of fast, simple, nutritious, and delicious dishes. The categories are: wraps, burritos, salads, rice, pasta, soups, smoothies, and frozen yogurt. A customer can choose to order a "Chef-Designed" option from one of these categories, or can
others? Are we too humane and lenient? When looking for the reasons why people commit crimes I can only say what I believe to be sure of, and it is that individuals go against laws because they choose so, as criminal behaviour is a matter of choice. Today, there are many excuses cloaked as reasons for criminal behaviour. The misguided nature of these assertions has a serious impact upon crime control strategies. The classical approach holds people to choose freely among alternatives in behaviour. In this view, the perpetrator plans his or her actions before carrying them out. The social environment in which the person is amidst of, is a key factor in causes of criminal behaviour, with weak or broken bonds to family, school, and religion being the catalyst of criminal behaviour. They may not see the benefits of adhering to conventional social values and believe crime is a way to improve their social conditions.

(Fair, 2013) The use of drones brings back to the subject of intent and “kill lists”. Therefrom, people are questioning its morality. Naturally, it is vital to put a lot of effort in identifying the civilians from the combatants and protecting them. This is the moral responsibility that needs to be taken into account when targeting extremists. (Beautmont, 2012) Using drones when fighting a war is proven to be strategically beneficial and more humane than its alternatives. However, when analysing their usefulness in war, we also need to take into account the long-term implications of widespread psychological warfare. (Owen, 2013) To summarise, using drones may not be desirable, as well as any other way of killing. Still, I think it is the best option at the tribal areas. (527 words) Bibliography Beautmont, P. After a long, guilt filled moment of consideration, Edward agrees saying that Bella is his first priority. Bella feels even worse, that she is asking him to choose between her and his family. But he replies that she has offered him two alternatives -- to stay together at the site of the battle or to sit it out together -- and he has chosen the one that he can live with. Alice arrives to keep an eye on Bella while Edward goes to talk with Jasper about the strategic implications of his decision to sit out. She reiterates Edward's reassurances that the battle will be a piece of cake. Charlie returns home, and Alice takes this opportunity to maneuver him into suggesting that Bella keep Alice company Friday night and Saturday, while the rest

Alternatives to petroleum In the United States in 2007 about 70 per cent of petroleum was used for transportation (e.g. petrol, diesel, jet fuel), 24 per cent by industry (e.g. production of plastics), 5 per cent for residential and commercial uses, and 2 per cent for electricity production. Outside of the US, a higher proportion of petroleum tends to be used for electricity. Alternatives to petroleum-based vehicle fuels Alternative fuel vehicles refers to both:
Production 4. Marketing 5. Distribution 6. Customer service. Supply chain describes the flow of goods, services, and information from the initial sources of materials and services to the delivery of products to consumers, regardless of whether those activities occur in the same organization or in other organizations. Five step decision making process: 1. Identify the problem and uncertainties. 2. Obtain information. 3. Make predictions about the future. 4. Make decisions by choosing among alternatives. 5. Implement the decision, evaluate performance, and learn. Steps 1-4 are collectively referred to as planning. Planning comprises selecting organization goals, predicting results under various alternative ways of achieving those goals, deciding how to attain them. Most important planning tool is budget, quantitative expression of a proposed plan of action by management and is an aid to coordinating what needs to be done to implement that plan.
The preference for high-quality ingredients is increasing as customers are learning to appreciate the qualitative differences. · Presentation/appearance. As presentation of an element of the culinary experience becomes more irrelevant, customers are learning to appreciate this aspect of the industry. · Health consciousness. As people in general are more acknowledged of their health, people are requesting more healthy alternatives when they eat out. For example - they recognize that an entree can be quite tasty, and reasonably good for you. · Selection. People are demanding a larger selection of foods; they are no longer accepting a limited menu. SWOT Strengths · Strong relationships with vendors that offer high-quality ingredients and fast/frequent delivery schedules.

Researchers opine that consumption of inorganic poisonous vegetables, fruits, poultry, and meat could probably be one of the reasons for causing such damage in the human body. ✘ There are many hybrid varieties of livestock, plants, and poultry available today. The livestock and poultry are injected with hormones and other chemicals to increase the yield. Alternatives? Organic Farming: We are all well-accustomed to this concept of farming. It produces good quality food without using any chemical fertilizer or pesticides, helps reduce diseases, and lowers the environmental impact. Hydroponics: In this method, plants are grown not in the soil but in water containing dissolved nutrients in greenhouses. This technique eradicates diseases caused by soil organisms but the plant needs constant support, supervision, and is grown in areas where there's no soil.

Products must be formulated with the functionality that sophisticated consumers demand. Slowly roll your shoulders backward five times in a circular motion. Next, roll your shoulders forwards. Chest stretch Stretching the chest may be one of the best exercises you can do for your body, since most of us spend much of our time hunched forward. This example shows a chest stretch using a resistance band. You can find resistance bands at most sporting goods and department stores and they're great to keep in your desk for quick stretching or strengthening moves. There are alternatives below if you don't have a band. 12.Chest stretch: This stretches the muscles of your chest, upper back and the back of your neck.Lace your fingers together behind your head, bringing your elbows back as far as possible. Squeeze your shoulder blades together until you feel your muscles stretching. Hold for 20 seconds. Relax. Repeat. Stretches for the Back Sitting for prolonged periods of time can also affect the lower back, leaving it tight and achy.
present carbon dioxide level in atmosphere. So the earth remains as polluted as it is but it prevents atmosphere from getting imbalanced more. But it is not a perfect solution. For example I think that hydrogen fuel is way better than biogas fuel, because hydrogen is the most abundant chemical element, constituting roughly 75 % of the Universe's chemical elemental mass. So, I think that biogas is definitely a source of future energy but there are other alternatives which can be useful for us. This report gave me lot of knowledge about biogas as well as other fields of renewable energy. Also I think that my English has improved thanks to the new vocabulary and material I have worked through. SUMMARY The present course paper consists of 34 pages of text. It also includes 7 diagrams, 11 illustrations and a blank original questionnaire for the research. As source material, 2 books, 3 articles from 2 different magazines, 29 sources from the internet and the teaching material of facial treatment given by the school was worked through. The paper is written in Estonian. The theme of the paper is alternatives to the traditional facial treatment in beauty salons in Estonia. The theme is topical, because constantly new opportunities and products for facial treatments are developed and launched. This was also the reason for the author to write the course paper on that subject. The problem is that the effect of traditional facial treatment is traumatic to the skin, uncomfortable for the client and its results are short-term.
However their attitude towards vegan lifestyle is quite negatiive. Overall thinking is vegans eat only hay and nothing else. Also students think only meat and dairy products are the ones where they can get the necessary substances. Actually it is not so black and white topic. Today vegans food table is very large and wide opened because people awareness how good veganism really is grows every day. So many companies produce alternatives for vegans. For example dairy products are replaced with plant based ones such as almond milk, soy milk etc. Vegans often take extra vitamins where they get necessary substances what they do not get from the food. Also health of vegans are often better than people who eat meat. To change students negative opinion about veganism I would suggest that schools should educate children about veganism and talk about it in a positive way rather than how terrible it is. One key word is definitely media
3 the Internet and responding by telephone to prerecorded interview questions, known as Interactive Voice Response or IVR, emerged in some countries. Nevertheless, in some countries the face-to- face interview remained the reliable and predominantly used survey mode. Never in the history of surveying have their been so many alternatives for collecting survey data, nor has there been so much heterogeneity in the use of survey methods across countries. Heterogeneity also exists within countries as surveyors attempt to match survey modes to the difficulties associated with finding and obtaining response to particular survey populations. Yet, all surveys face a common challenge, which is how to produce precise estimates by surveying

Janis has documented eight symptoms of groupthink: • Illusion of invulnerability –Creates excessive optimism that encourages taking extreme risks. • Collective rationalization – Members discount warnings and
