Tartu 2009 Acid Rain Acid rain is rain consisting of water droplets that are unusually acidic because of atmospheric pollution - most notably the excessive amounts of sulfur and nitrogen released by cars and industrial processes. Acid rain is also called acid deposition because this term includes other forms of acidic precipitation such as snow. Acidic deposition occurs in two ways: wet and dry. Wet deposition is any form of precipitation that removes acids from the atmosphere and deposits them on the Earth's surface. Dry deposition polluting particles and gases stick to the ground via dust and smoke in the absence of precipitation. This form of deposition is dangerous however because precipitation can eventually wash pollutants into streams, lakes, and rivers. Acidity itself is determined based on the pH level of the water droplets. PH is the scale measuring the amount of acid in the water and liquid. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14 with

3. Tühja kõhuga on aeroobne treening kõige tõhusam Pikalt on tõstetud esile aeroobse treeningu tegemist tühja kõhuga kui parimat viisi põletada dieedi ajal rasvasid. Tõsi on, et rasvapõletustrenn tühja kõhuga tähendab seda, et insuliinitase on madal ning organism on meelestatud rasvapõletusele. Pahupooleks on aga see, et sel juhul ähvardab meid ka lihasmassi kadu. Ühes uues uuringus leiti, et väike lisa BCAA-d (Branched Chained Amino Acids ­ hargnenud aminohapped) enne madala intensiivsusega aeroobset treeningut takistab lihasmassi vähenemist. Kindluse mõttes soovitaks süüa ka väikese proteiinirikka eine (5-10 grammi valku) enne treeningut, et mitte alustada päris paastuseisundist. Sunflower accounts for about 14% of the world production of seed oils (6.9 million metric tons in 1985-86) and about 7% of the oilcake and meal produced from oilseeds. Europe and the USSR produce over 60% of the world's sunflowers. The oil accounts for 80% of the value of the sunflower crop, as contrasted with soybean which derives most of its value from the meal. Sunflower oil is generally considered a premium oil because of its light color, high level of unsaturated fatty acids and lack of linolenic acid, bland flavor and high smoke points. The primary fatty acids in the oil are oleic and linoleic (typically 90% unsaturated fatty acids), with the remainder consisting of palmitic and stearic saturated fatty acids. The primary use is as a salad and cooking oil or in margarine. In the USA, sunflower oils account for 8% or less of these markets, but in many sunflower-producing countries, sunflower is the preferred and the most commonly used oil.
