Tolerance
Ladies and gentlemen, before I move to my actual topic, think with me for a second on this scenario ... A black exchange student from Kenya comes to our school and you see him getting beaten up by a bunch of bullies without no apparent reason , what would you do? More then a few of us pretend as if they had not seen anything . I myself would feel awful, but I wouldn't know what to do either. Although I would condone myself with the idea , that life is difficult and it's just something you have to deal with.
But does tolerance mean that all manners should be accepted? No, of course not. Manners that disrespect or hurt others , like being mean or bullying , or manners that break social rules, like lying or stealing, should not be tolerated. Tolerance is about accepting people for who they are — not about accepting bad behavior . Tolerance also means treating others the way you would like to be treated. Nobody wants to be mocked or even be a victim of physical violence. In reality , we have no idea how much pain our small insignificant words can cause . We may think we are strong , but we fought inconsiderate of the fact , that not all are as strong as us.
A person , who has sustained constant mocking in matters, which he might not be the one to blame, might be smiling on the outside , but going through hell on the inside. And hell is definitely not the place we would like to find ourselves.
That points us to the fact that religious people are often persecuted and even the Bible says , that the life of a Christian is no picnic, you have to stand above mockery and the fact that you may be rejected from the society. Of course there are many people who think differently. The facts that Christians burned heretics, tortured thousands of innocent people until they confessed to something they did not do and that Christianity goes against science makes us difficult to be tolerant . Some of us may have a question: “Why should we be kind to them if they have done so much bad to us?” There are no us or they. We all have our good and bad sides .
However evolution doesn't like tolerance. Tolerance means, that we will accept all abnormalities and freaks. It will corrupt our system and stop evolution in its tracks. Already human average IQ is falling due to too tolerant habitat for people.
For a conclusion I must say that we should be considerate with everybody . We all are different . It should not matter what color is our skin or what we believe. We all are equal.

How far can we go being tolerant?

How far can we go being tolerant? Tolerance- it is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody ot something especially opinions or behaviuor that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you. When we speak about tolerance and being tolerant, then of course all of us do not have the same opinion about tolerance. There is saying that there are as many different opinions as people in the world and talking about tolerance is not different. How we tolerate other people and their behaviour depends a lot of how we are raised and educated, where we live and who we connect to When we hear word ,,tolerant" then mostly we connect it with homo sexuals, racism, religion and all kinds of different people(disabled people for example) and how we tolerate those things. Speaking of homo sexuals then for me they are same people as I am and I have nothing against them. I only would not like if homo sexuals would start

Tolerance and diversity

Tolerance and diversity Tolerance is a very important issue for the people all over the world. Sadly the lack of it has influenced us more than the existence. On the other hand people have always liked the diversity of this world. For example, we can't imagine life without our Chinese food, Italian pasta and especially McDonalds , can we? We have to admit that it would be very unpleasant without simple things like these so is it so hard for us to cope with different types of people? We live our lives differently and see the world in different ways, everyone use words that they feel like using , but in the end we are all trying to answer the same question. There is no such thing as the correctness of one people with his religion because each and every one of us thinks that the one he believes is the only real. You do not have to like the same food, dress the same way or listen to the same music as your friends do. But always be opened to get to know about

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

THE CAPITALIST NIGER Chika Onyeani ………………………Every African must internalise this book - period….DAA INTRODUCTION In October 1960, Nigeria received its independence from Britain. By then, Ghana the former Gold Coast had been independent for three years under the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkumah. It was a time for celebrating Africa’s coming of age, as more and more African countries received their independence either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s natural resources by our colonial masters accorded us would be things of history. That is more than forty years ago. Unfortunately, the promise of independence has not been fulfilled. Today, Africa has become more desolate; there is more starvation

Tolerance and diversity

Tolerance and diversity First of all I had to pose myself a question what does tolerance mean to me? I came to the conclusion that for me it means accepting people the way they are- not caring about their appearance, orign, religion, attitude or skin coulor, even if their beliefs and thoughts are not just the same as mine. I think that every one of us should pay respect to other people. I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and how they live. Estonia is a culturally diverse society. It is home to approximately 1,4 million people and not all of them are Estonians
