second on this scenario... A black exchange student from Kenya comes to our school and you see him getting beaten up by a bunch of bullies without no apparent reason, what would you do? More then a few of us pretend as if they had not seen anything. I myself would feel awful, but I wouldn't know what to do either. Although I would condone myself with the idea, that life is difficult and it's just something you have to deal with. But does tolerance mean that all manners should be accepted? No, of course not. Manners that disrespect or hurt others, like being mean or bullying, or manners that break social rules, like lying or stealing, should not be tolerated. Tolerance is about accepting people for who they are -- not about accepting bad behavior. Tolerance also means treating others the way you would like to be treated. Nobody wants to be mocked or even be a victim of physical violence. In reality, we
Tolerance and Diversity Nowadays people are cautious and like to be independent to choose who they want to be acquainted with. The origin of a person is usually top priority. However, some people do not care where their friends are from and what the colour of their skin is. "Tolerance" is a noun with profound meaning. It has been built on an individual opinion, on the influence of friends and how the society affects people. Human nature is one-sided, because they believe in exact stereotypes of people and try to follow them. Many characteristics are also immediately being added to the person's characteristics according to its origin. It is better if you never evaluate anything by its appearance in order not to come to the wrong conclusion. People are very easily affected
Tolerance and diversity Tolerance is a very important issue for the people all over the world. Sadly the lack of it has influenced us more than the existence. On the other hand people have always liked the diversity of this world. For example, we can't imagine life without our Chinese food, Italian pasta and especially McDonalds , can we? We have to admit that it would be very unpleasant without simple things like these so is it so hard for us to cope with different types of people?
Tolerance and diversity First of all I had to pose myself a question what does tolerance mean to me? I came to the conclusion that for me it means accepting people the way they are- not caring about their appearance, orign, religion, attitude or skin coulor, even if their beliefs and thoughts are not just the same as mine. I think that every one of us should pay respect to other people. I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and how they live. Estonia is a culturally diverse society. It is home to approximately 1,4 million people and not all of them are Estonians
Tolerance and Diversity Janne Susi In today's world, the coexistence of different cultures is one of the most vital developments. Furthermore, the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence of different nations have often been underlined by the representatives of the European Union. The same ideas have lately been spreading in the Baltic countries. So, what are the main dangers to the tolerance and friendly coexistence in these countries? There are several phenomena which counteract the successful coexistence and integration of people from different cultural backgrounds. First and foremost, both coexistence and integration require a high level of tolerance from all those involved. Here, the major obstacle is often xenophobia which may be caused by a wide range of factors. As a rule, xenophobia occurs in big, mostly mono-cultural societies, where strangers are
Thirdly, the situation with religions is a diverse. It is a fact that Estonia is the most atheist country in the world. The biggest religious minorities are lutherans, Russian Orthodox. Some people have faith is very important. It is believed that God is the one who forgives them for their sinful. But in our country are not forced religion against, we have freedom of religion. Finally, In my opinion, it is a problem to some extent in every country of tolerance between different races. In particular, a large grudge against the Russians, Estonians, just because of our past.
The highest result of education is tolerance Ladies and gentleman! Today I will discuss a topic what is opened by a quote by beautiful Helen Keller: The highest result of education is tolerance. Today is the day you will understand that her quote is accurate. So I should probably start with a question. Why should we be tolerant to weird kids at school? Does anybody in this room know why?........Okay, let's just drop that question for now, we'll come back to it later. If I would ask you Where do we get our education from you all would probably say: From schools duuuh! But what is a school? Tallinn English College? Yeah, it is a school with all
Then it would not be that hard to live side by side. For example, when you have a new neighbour in your home town, who's English, you should go and visit him/her, introduce the town to the person, the customs and the traditions. Then it would be easier for the newcomer. If you're alone in a big strange and different country, you will need someone to support you. Someone, who could teach you to understand the foreign culture and language. We all should have some tolerance, humanity and some compassion. Then we could share our land friendly.
How can the issue of intolerance be addressed by the government? Intolerance in society is actually the intolerance of it’s individual members. Intolerance is rooted in fear and ignorance. People are afraid of the unknown, it is natural. But it can only grow, if it gets encouragement, either from parents, who are also ingorant or school, who just do not teach children any better. And fighting intolerance requires Law. Intolerance can be fought with education. Tolerance can be teached at an early age only, later it is difficult change a person’s values. And if intolerance starts with the fear of the unknow, education can help. Government should emphasise education more and more. Children should learn about tolerance and human rights and about other ways of life. School should teach children to always be open-minded. Teaching about tolerance and human rights and that the world is bigger than it
How far can we go being tolerant? One of our most valuable and rare qualities is tolerance. It is the ability to see things from the other side, capability to take our companions as equal and bravery to show out all those things. Just like all valuable things are uncommon, tolerance is rare too. It is caused by the fact that comparing to the previous centuries people have changed more self-centered and envious, forgetting others around. Tolerance as a characteristic feature is an acknowledged ideal in today`s modern society. The democratic state is based on tolerance. Over the last few years the attitude against ethnic monorities has been a frequently discussed topic in Estonia. Russians, who settled in Estonia during the USSR occupation are causing economical, racial and religious conflicts between them and Estonians. Although Estonians don't have any particular reason why we don't accept Russians as equals, we are used to
How far can we go being tolerant? Tolerance- it is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody ot something especially opinions or behaviuor that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you. When we speak about tolerance and being tolerant, then of course all of us do not have the same opinion about tolerance. There is saying that there are as many different opinions as people in the world and talking about tolerance is not different. How we tolerate other people and their behaviour depends a lot of how we are raised and educated, where we live and who we connect to When we hear word ,,tolerant" then mostly we connect it with homo sexuals, racism, religion and all kinds of different people(disabled people for example) and how we tolerate those things. Speaking of homo sexuals then for me they are same people as I am and I have nothing against them. I only would not like if homo sexuals would start

Some people experience sleep disruption if 30 they consume caffeine, especially during the evening hours, but others show little disturbance 31 and the effect of caffeine on sleep is highly variable. 32 Caffeine is quickly and completely removed from the brain. Its effects are short-lived and it 33 tends not to negatively affect concentration or higher brain functions. However, continued 34 exposure to caffeine leads to developing a tolerance to it. Tolerance causes the body to become 35 sensitized to adenosine, so withdrawal causes blood pressure to drop, which can result in a 36 headache and other symptoms. Too much caffeine can result in caffeine intoxication, which is 37 characterized by nervousness, excitement, increased urination, insomnia, flushed face, cold 38 hands/feet, intestinal complaints, and sometimes hallucinations. Some people experience the 39 symptoms of caffeine intoxication after ingesting as little as 250 mg per day

bodily behavior. For example, woman in many Western cultures traditionally curtsy, whereas men bow. As a sign of respect in almost any form of the military is a salute. A salute is used by enlistees to show respect to the position held by officers and by officers to those of higher rank. The 21-gun salute is done within the military for funerals of military members and for high-ranking civilians such as the President. Sometimes the word respect can mean also toleration and tolerance. It means that we accept people who- and like they are. Does not matter what skin color you have, do you love men or women or are you religious or not. No one in earth is the same as I am and I am not the same like they are. I have the right to be different and like other people should accept it, I should accept and respect them. To respect other people means some how to make compromises. It means that, we need to find the best possible solution

I’d like to teach in my hometown, Tartu. I want to become a teacher beacause I like kids. Also, I like to teach and explain. Literature was my favourite subject in school. I like almost all books from compulsory literature. Especially I like „Master and Margarita“ and „Dorian Gray“. I think it is very important to read books, especially young people should read. Literature improves their vocabulary and changes their picture of the world and maybe teach tolerance. I’d give enough time to read every book carefully. I wouldn’t just make a test with fact-questions, I would discuss about the books with them. We would talk about the problems and the main ideas of the book. Later, they would have to write an essay about the book. Writing an essay improves their writing skills. Maybe I’d let them work in groups, then they can discuss about book together. Arabia...). In Africa, recently, several presidents have brutally acted on their will to combat personally this "scourge" which they consider "anti-African". Even in other countries where homosexuality is not considered a crime, persecutions have multiplied. In Brazil, for example, death squads and skin heads spread terror: 1,960 homophobic murders have been officially reported between 1980 and 2000. In these conditions, it is difficult to think that "tolerance" is gaining ground. On the contrary, in the majority of these nations, homophobia appears more violent today than ever before. The tendency is not, therefore, towards a general improvement, far from it. Tolerance is the ability to be fair and understanding to people whose ways and opinions are different from one's own. It seems like a good and challenging streak to have, but the question is, how far we can go with it. I would say not very far. More and more media and public encourage us to be tolerant to homosexuals and their lifestyle and many countries have actually made their marriages legal and tolerate them. Also, there have been numerous discussions on whether they should have the right to have, adopt and raise children. To me, it is absolutely unacceptable because this is not normal. They could have good facilities for bringing up children and lots of love to give them, but in my eyes it just is not suitable for a child. How could a child live a normal life having to live with two mothers or two fathers? It may sound very intolerant and rude from my part, but I do not think any child could live like that and have a normal...

feelings, risk their lives believing in love or trust some stereotypes and fears they have. Although Mattias and Hannah made a lot of mistakes, they always tried to help each other. The film made me think more about people, who have mental illnesses, because the movie tried to show mental problems as they really are. This movie can deeply affect the public, drawing attention to the needs of mental patients, and increasing tolerance towards psychologically ill people. In conclusion I can say, that “The Polar Boy” is a powerful movie and it is definitely worth seeing. It is about hope and trust and it shows how kindness and love can cure even the deepest wounds.

First, very important trait for persons from counties “such as the UK and USA” is democracy of expression. I do think, that in Arabic culture there is no such freedom to express yourself publicly, that just don ´t suit their traditions. Second, I find very important a role of experience. So I´m free to try something, to go abroad or to choose different profession. I´m not limited in my decisions by family or country. And last important assumption, what I really share is tolerance and respecting others individuality. In our culture I can dress like I want and I can think the way I want – and I know, that other people have the same rights. So, it turns that the most powerful factors what influence our identity, our project and concept, are people around us and processes around us. They change us, make us reflect and learn – the only thing what is rest to one particular character is to stay himself.

7 elutähtsat mikroelementi: KROOM (Сг) Kroomi tähtsaim bioloogiline roll seisneb süsivesikute ainevahetuse ja vere glükoosi taseme reguleerimises, kuna kroom on madalmolekulaarse orgaanilise kompleksi - glükoosi tolerantsusfaktor (Glucose Tolerance Factor, GTF) koostises tähtsal kohal. Mõned mult. koll. tunnused a) Mõne sõltumatute tunnuste paari omavaheline korrelatsioon on tugevam kui korrelatsioon sõltuva muutujaga. Mult.Kollineaarsuse avastamiseks viiakse lisaks regressioonianalüüsile läbi ka korrelatsioonianalüüs. St leitakse paarikaupa kõigi tunnuste korrelatsioonikordajad ja
The first set of values is thought to be associated with males, while the second more with females. Masculinity is high in Japan, in some European countries like Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and moderately high in Anglo countries; it is low in Nordic countries and in the Netherlands and moderately low in some Latin and Asian countries like France, Spain and Thailand. 48 Määramatuse vältimine The dimension deals with a society's tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity.
