Bullying

BULLYING Bullying is a very big problem in almost every school. When bullying goes out of the limit, it might end with a terrible gunfire(Colombian massacre). I believe everyone have been bullied by someone and have been a bully for a once. Bullying is an issue that is very important in nowadays and needs a special attention. Some of the ways to bully other people are by: calling you names, making things up to get you into trouble, hitting, pinching, biting and pushing, taking things away from you, damaging your belongings, stealing your money, taking your friends away from you. Now, to talk about why people bully someone there are many aspects. Some bullies do it to get attention or to make other people afraid of them

Bullying Some people are bullies. They want to have attention. Many people at school only laugh at it, nobody tries to stop it. Bullies at school are usually bigger children. Teachers are always against bullyng, and they know that it is bad. When I was jounger i was bullied by my grandfather, and I bullied him too.We are now good friends, we do not bully each other any more. When I was younger I was a bully, because I thought that it was cool. Now I understand that bullies have mental deseases. I hate bullies and being bullied.

Bullying

Bullying I hadn't faced the real bullying, I think I have really carried only some smaller bullying casts. I don't even know what to talk about. But well, we all make mistakes, sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller. I'm going to talk about a short story about bullying in my childhood in my other school. We had a really great class and almost everybody held together. But like in almost every class, there is someone different from others and that may cause them problems with the other people. We had very many these classmates who were a little bit bullied and couldn't stand for themselves. There was a girl, who wasn't very thin and that's the main purpose she was bullied. She wasn't very rich also and she lived only with her mother. The

I love you all so much!" Most Canadians remember the tragic 1997 murder of Reena Virk, a high-school student whose battered body was recovered from the Gorge Waterway, near Victoria. Her head and internal organs had been severely damaged by a beating that rendered her senseless before she was deliberately drowned. One girl and a boy were convicted of second-degree murder, and six girls were found guilty of aggravated assault. Her death is an example of bullying taken to its ultimate expression. But even in its mildest everyday forms, bullying is about one thing: the strong taking unfair advantage of the weak. Bullying has been defined as "the tendency for some children to frequently oppress, harass or intimidate other children, verbally, physically or both, in and out of school." It is not the minor behaviour problems that are a part of growing up, such as horseplay,

My Magna Carta. When I first started my own Magna Carta, I thought what's the most near heart and important to me. I chose two main topics, what I find important and relevant. I'm sure that I'm not the onl one who thinks like that. The first thing I would do, is forbid bullying. What is bullying? Bullying is the use of force, threat or duress to abuse, terrorize or aggressively dominate others. There are different types of victims. One of those is the one that ignores all the hate and insulting what comes at him/her. The other one takes it all by heart and seriously. Words can hurt, a lot. Most of the people don't realize what are they causing the victim, when bullying him/her. The worse cause that bullying can cause, is suicide. There is 7% of young people who attempt suicide every year

Corporal punishment

Corporal punishment In my opinion corporal punishment is unnecessary in our society, because nowadays students may react too fiercely. I believe with all the changes taking place in our world today, it is not realistic to think that the idea of corporal punishment would ever take hold again in schools. I think that most children would respond negatively to a change like this and that this change would only create more of a problem in the long run. Bullying can have a very bad effect on the child who is being bullied and on the child who is allowed to go on bullying. Corporal punishment was not allowed in our school. That is strictly denied to physically punish students in any way. In closing I believe that corporal punishment in schools is a thing of the past. I think that corporal punishment is wrong. Children should be punished when acting out in schools, but that punishment should be in a non-violent form.

School uniform pros and cons

School uniform's pros and cons School uniforms are verry popular nowadays, mostly in private schools. But would school uniforms make our lives better? There is no doubt that school uniforms have many advantages. Firstly, they encourage discipline. It would also free children from the pressure to buy trendy clothes. All the childrens would be dressed in the same way and as a result it would cut out a school bullying, which is often used, because some children do not have money to buy expensive and fashionable clothes and they are bullied because of that. Children would not have to think about what to wear in the morning and parents save time taking children shopping and spending extra money. Children will be that much less focused on appearance and more on learning. However school uniforms are good there is some disadvantages too. For example children can

Gays as Parents

And here is the problem, to let gays adopt babies or not? I do not have a clear opinion in gay parents. I would like to believe that if a same sex couple has proven that they can raise a kid then they keep their word. I cannot say that it is perfectly fine to grow up with gay parents, because we really do not know if it has a bad effect on children. Of course it is better to live with loving parents even if they are gays. But at the same time other children might start bullying the kid with gay parents and it might ruin his or her childhood. In conclusion there is no right way to act in this case, because it has cons and pros.

School Uniform

To start with, school uniforms have many good sides for students. However, uniforms also have bad sides which are particulary involved with financial problems. Each and every person in the world is different, and by making people dress the same, they can't express themselves fairly the way that they would like to. Having school uniforms is not necessary, and there are many reasons to prove it. Some people say that wearing a school uniform stop the bullying, because all children wear the same clothes. But it's not true - the bullys and other evil student will always find another reason to make somebody feel bad - like glasses, pimples or overweight. Second reason that schools have school uniforms is because of the gangs. They believe, when all of the children wear the same clothes, they will not have any gangs. But students communicate with each other outside school too, so gangs will still arise.

It was a safe place to hide while hurricanes and thunderstorms were bullying. The room was equipped with all the necessary things food, water, batteries, flashlights, warm clothes, etc. But to my surprise, I was the first one there. Where were mum and dad? Where was my younger sister? I tried to remember where I saw them last. I couldn't think straight, I was overwhelmed with worry. I heard someone banging on the hatch. constitution, but much of the British constitution is embodied in written documents, within statues, court judgments and treaties. So in my opinion that's a stupid system. Because if you watch other countries how much do they pay for compensation claims then it's nothing. Though in other countries there are huge sums what civilians get from companies. A former female police officer was awarded an estimated £1,000,000 in a package, after complaining of bullying and sexual and racial harassment. For instance I think it's absolutely ridiculous to get a million for that. I think many people have suffered much more and would deserve much more. But that all concludes in people's ego. It's the side that people get greedy. At that moment lawyers step into play. They have helped create a world in which dissatisfaction leads to blame. Most victims of legal harassment will settle with money in order to avoid a lengthy and expensive trial

But when his mother got ill Julie prohibited being around her that much. He did not like the evenings without her. Tom hated and was afraid of going to school because of the bullying. It was hard to force him to go to school, he screamed and pounded. He was clever in a petty and argumentative way — the perfect victim on the playground. “Tom was just this sort of whom to nag at” (translated). He believed that being a girl would had been easier because girls were never hit. Tom had a couple of friends who he sometimes played with outside, but they were never allowed to come to the house. Truancy in school – individual responsibility

The effect that poor attendance at school can have on a child's education can be permanent and damaging but skipping should be child's own responsibility and it is not right to punish the parents for it. Students have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions. However it does not refer to the small children who attend the primary school but they usually do not skip. The ones that do skip are mostly the students of the secondary and high school who are definitely old enough to take responsibility for their actions.

"koška" instead of "kot", "medvešonok" instead of "medved", "saichik" etc. Did not make much sense and we mostly played some games in Russian (Tare-tareke etc). Learned as much playing outside, since we had Estonian-Russian kids around as well. Not that we played with them. It's sad to say but it was not a nice time to be a Russian kid. We were mean to them, and we did not even know why. I think that's the only time I've ever been part of bullying someone, but there was this kid everybody called Vene-Russ and we spent a lot of time playing mean tricks on him. Well, there's that. And I also learned a lot of Russian from my mother's lover who was a Russian military officer and pretty much my father figure at the time. I tried to teach him Estonian and learned some Russian instead. My Russian studies in school have always been very hectic and making very little sense

Tollington without a fair chance finding employment. As a social outcast, there is no useful palce for Sam in the society that has rejected him. Meena's parents want to hang on to her; they don't want her to grow up too quickly; and they are incredibly protective because they don't understand their surroundings themselves

He once reflected: I don't have prejudice against myself. My father was a white and my mother was black. Them call me half-caste or whatever. Me don't dip on nobody's side. Me don't dip on the black man's side nor the white man's side. Me dip on God's side, the one who create me and cause me to come from black and white. Marley and his mother moved to Kingston's Trenchtown slum after Norval's death. He was forced to learn self-defense, as he became the target of bullying because of his racial makeup and small stature (5'4" or 163 cm tall) [citation needed]. He gained a reputation for his physical strength, which earned him the nickname "Tuff Gong". Marley became friends with Neville "Bunny" Livingston (later known as Bunny Wailer), with whom he started to play music. He left school at the age of 14 and started as an apprentice at a local welder's shop. In his free time, he and Livingston made music with Joe Higgs, a local

the Western Front is that war brings out a savagery and hunger for power that lie latent in many people, even if they are normally respectable, nonviolent citizens. Himmelstoss is just such a figure: an unthreatening postman before the war, he evolves into the "terror of Klosterberg," the most feared disciplinarian in the training camps. Himmelstoss is extremely cruel to his recruits, forcing them to obey ridiculous and dangerous orders simply because he enjoys bullying them. Himmelstoss forces his men to stand outside with no gloves on during a hard frost, risking frostbite that could lead to the amputation of a finger or the loss of a hand. His idea of a cure for Tjaden's bed-wetting--making him share a bunk with Kindervater, another bed wetter--is vicious, especially since the bed-wetting results from a medical condition and is not under Tjaden's control. At this stage of the novel, Himmelstoss represents the meanest, pettiest,

make such decisions. I'm afraid that is a bit of a far-fetched notion. Speaker 3 There was this radio thing about Korczak recently and we listened to that the guys from the school council and I. So he had this idea about peer courts at school and we just couldn't believe it. I mean there's no school that wouldn't benefit from a court like that. If students could judge one another and take responsibility into their own hands, then we could do something about things like bullying and theft at school. I mean who knows better than the students who does what and which punishment would really work? And most of all it would make teachers listen and respect our opinions and feelings. I wish our school would allow us something like that. Speaker 4 We were all surprised at Korczak's instruction to gather in the X-ray lab. The doctor arrived, bringing along a four-year-old from his orphanage. The X-ray machine was switched on and we saw the

It's no accident that we call neighborhood saloons and cocktail lounges our "local watering holes." T h e crossing of the First Threshold may have been long, lonely, and dry. Bars are natural spots to recuperate, pick up gossip, make friends, and confront Enemies. T h e y also allow us to observe people under pressure, when true character is revealed. How Shane handles himself in a bar fight convinces a farmer to become his Ally and stand up to the bullying cattlemen. In the tense bar-room confrontations in Star Wars, Luke Skywalker sees flashes of Obi W a n Kenobi's spiritual power and H a n Solo's "look out for Number One" mentality. T h e bar can be a microcosm of the Special World, a place through which everyone must pass, sooner or later, like the saloon in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean. "Everybody Comes to Rick's," says the title of the play on which Casablanca is based. 139
