5C’s of Credit

5c’s of Credit When you apply for a loan, the lender will evaluate your request in order to determine whether or not it is a good decision to lend you and your business money. A common evaluation framework is the Five C’s of Credit: capacity, capital, collateral, conditions and character. Capacity refers to your ability to meet the loan payments. The prospective lender will want to know exactly how you intend to repay the loan. The lender will consider the cash flow from the business, the timing of repayment, and the probability of successful repayment of the loan. Lenders will also consider payment history as an indicator of future payment potential. For example, if you have a history of not paying back loans then it becomes more difficult to obtain additional loans. Capital is the money invested in the business and is an indicator of how much is at risk should the business fail

The influence of television

Television has the potential to unite communities, provide information to allow positive cultural, social and environmental change, and to create a true global village. It also has the potential to alienate, desocialise, to promote aggressive and negative behaviours, provide negative and inappropriate role models to our children, and to create negative values such as values of consumption and possession. TV has a big influence amongst younger people, because sometimes they intend to listen more to strangers than their parents, siblings or teachers. Television shows very big variety of different newscasts, reality shows and documentaries, which all can be a big impact of their lives. Children who consistently spend more than 4 hours per day watching TV are more likely to be overweight. They usually tend to grab a snack while watching TV or even eat their supper or afternoon snack in front of a TV.

Exposing the Human Condition in Antigone

"I will bury him myself./If I die for doing that, good:/I will stay with him, brother;/and my crime will be devotion." This decision, to bury her brother, was very heroic in that even though she knew death was at stake, she knew where her loyalties lied. On page 39, lines 560-575, Antigone stands up to her uncle and tells him to his face that he has disobeyed the Gods decrees. In line 562, 563, and 564 she says: "I did not intend to pay, before the gods,/for breaking these laws/because of my fear of one man and his principles." Antigone accuses Kreon of overstepping the laws of the gods, by relying on his own thinking. As is brought out later, Kreon never listened to other peoples advice until it was too late. In the above passage Antigone heroically faces up to the most powerful man, the King, knowing he could kill her in an instance, but still she tells him he is wrong.

The next day when students come to class, everything collapses and falls apart. The Vigils is the secret organization at Trinity high school. B: That'll be great. 2) We normally use the present continuous rather than be going to with verbs which express movement, especially the verbs go and come. e.g. Sam is going to the market in a few minutes. Sheila is coming to my house for tea this afternoon NB! The future simple and be going to are used with the following time expressions: tomorrow, the

MASS MEDIA By ''mass media '' we intend to those means of communication which can reach large or mass audiences. The most important are probably Television, Radio, the Press and Internet. The English-speaking peoples have always allowed more freedom of speech and of the press than most other countries. This gave them an advantage from the start in communications. The ground work for mass communications in the 20th century was laid in the 19th century by two inventions which allowed people to communicate by wire

Connecting Ideas Logically and Effectively

UNIT 6 Connecting Ideas Logically and Effectively The aim of the section is to assist you to produce an effective topic outline: a skeleton of your document. If this stage of the production process is done properly all you really need are the language control techniques to connect your ideas logically and effectively. If you have a well documented list of techniques to connect your ideas effectively the writing process is less formidable. You will want to know how to join similarities, compare and contrast certain facts, introduce the next topic, offer a supporting idea, or refer to previously presented facts. You will also need to know how to present different shades of argument to produce logically a recommendation you wish to make. This requires an ability to emphasise certain facts and 'bury' others. However, all facts need to be linked to give a logical flow. This unit will give you language practice in...

use: "A speaker who uses a definite description referentially in an asser- tion . . . uses the description to enable his audience to pick out whom or what he is talking about" (p. 285). The description does not "occur essentially," but is "merely one tool for doing a certain job--calling attention to a person or thing--and in general any other device for doing the same job, another description or a name, would do as well" (ibid.). "[W]e expect and intend our audience to realize whom we have in mind . . . and, most importantly, to know that it is this person about whom we are going to say something" (pp. 2856). This all sounds straightforwardly correct, for the "Smith's murderer" case.9 However, Donnellan goes on to add a further characterization: in the attributive use of "The ø is Y," "if nothing is the ø then nothing has been said to be Y," whereas in the referential case "the fact that nothing is the ø

Tartu nähtavad linnastruktuurid. Kevin Lynch`i teooria rakendus

The thesis at hand tried to give an overview of the importance of the elements of the city and their importance for the image of the city. To conclude the author found that Tartu at present is visually very well readable city and the image of the city promotes people to find their way in the city. Also in the city planning the present good situation is taken into account. As for the future the plans with the left bank of Emajõgi river indicate that city planners intend to keep the image of the city well readable. One should still take into consideration the visual city structures and elements when making plans for the future, not to pile up too many high structures in one cluster to avoid the blurring of the image of the city. 37 Kasutatud allikad Banerjee, T., Southworth, M., 1995. It involves identifying a specific group or category of people and collecting information from some of them in order to gain insight into what the entire group does or thinks; however, undertaking a survey inevitably raises questions that may be difficult to answer. How many people need to be surveyed in order to be able to describe fairly accurately the entire group? How should the people be selected? economically. On ever account, we are all guilty; and especially on the question of economics, if we were to be sentenced for the crime we have committed against the Black race, we would all be shot. Of course, this section of the book is not about recriminations, I think I have already detailed the problems succinctly in the preceding sections. I know that, as a lot of critics would correctly point out, it is far easier to criticize that to offer solutions. I intend not to do that – I have my own prescriptions for the diseases which has infected and permeated the Black race. It may not be to everybody’s liking, but who cares, it is my prescription; if you don’t like it let’s hear your own solution. In offering my solutions, I am a realist, and I know my limitations; I don’t pretend to be an in-depth expert on the history, sociology and culture of the Black race. On this score, I intend to speak freely. I

This rule has later on been supported by other scholars such as Díaz Cintas (2003), who applies it to longer lines than the ones referred to by D'Ydewalle (72 characters instead of 64), thus setting the recommended speed at 144 wpm (12 cps) (ROMERO FRESCO 2009: 114). As mentioned before, the "6 second rule" seems to be the most accepted one among viewers. If we equate this reception best practice with the reading speed parameters we intend to use, it all comes down to figures of 12 CPS and 144 WPM. 2.Commercial subtitling software programs and reading speed figures provided by them The process of subtitling involves two fundamental stages: "spotting" (or text seg- mentation including time assignment), and subtitle creation in itself. TARTUFFE (inglise keelne)

Give him my daughter, give him all my fortune: And he meanwhile, the villain, rascal, wretch, Tries with black treason to suborn my wife, And not content with such a foul design, He dares to menace me with my own favours, And would make use of those advantages Which my too foolish kindness armed him with, To ruin me, to take my fortune from me, And leave me in the state I saved him from. DORINE Poor man! MADAME PERNELLE My son, I cannot possibly Believe he could intend so black a deed. ORGON What? MADAME PERNELLE Worthy men are still the sport of envy. ORGON Mother, what do you mean by such a speech? MADAME PERNELLE There are strange goings-on about your house, And everybody knows your people hate him. ORGON What's that to do with what I tell you now? MADAME PERNELLE I always said, my son, when you were little: That virtue here below is hated ever; The envious may die, but envy never. ORGON What's that fine speech to do with present facts?

black humourists are the extensions of extistentsialism. However theres a difference, existentsialist respect the self. Black humourists don't, they reject the idea of choice. They consider man as a play thing in overall chaos. The characters in a black humour novel are usually neurotic people. Often physically and spiritually sterile, unable to love and also these characters are divided by guilt, alienation. The most popular forms of black humour novel is the fable. Black humourists do not intend to reform the world, however they want to respond to the absurdity of the love. Their response is laughter, they laugh at the absurdity whats around us. This kinda laughter is often cold laughter, bitter laughter, theater of the absurd. The absurdity of life is put into novels through techniques, series of ridiculous events, the characters are very often distorted, exaggerated, often caricatures, and language is often

Jane Austen

"This walk is not wide enough for our party. We had better go into the avenue." But Elizabeth, who had not the least inclination to remain with them, laughingly answered: "No, no; stay where you are. You are charmingly grouped, and appear to uncommon advantage. The picturesque would be spoilt by admitting a fourth. Good-bye." She then ran gaily off, rejoicing as she rambled about, in the hope of being at home again in a day or two. Jane was already so much recovered as to intend leaving her room for a couple of hours that evening. Chapter 11 When the ladies removed after dinner, Elizabeth ran up to her sister, and seeing her well guarded from cold, attended her into the drawing-room, where she was welcomed by her two friends with many professions of pleasure; and Elizabeth had never seen them so agreeable as they were during the hour which passed before the gentlemen appeared. Their powers of conversation were considerable

This proposal for their jobs would include a description of what they intend to do, how they intend to do it, how much they would charge for their work, and how much the company would gain or save by paying them the salaries they are requesting for what they are proposing to do. As you can imagine, many employees are completely baffled when they are confronted with this exercise. The very idea of thinking through their current jobs and describing them in the

"much that of a soda-water bottle with the wires cut but the cork unexploded." It exploded on February 22, 1917. Unable to wait any longer, the British gave the cork a push. Hall, with Foreign Office approval if not under its orders, showed the Zimmermann telegram to Edward Bell, a secretary of the American embassy who maintained liaison with the various intelligence offices of the British government. He read an astounding tale of German intrigue against his country: We intend to begin on the first of February unrestricted submarine warfare. We shall endeavor in spite of this to keep the United States of America neutral. In the event of this not succeeding, we make Mexico a proposal of alliance on the following basis: Make war together, make peace together, generous financial support, and an understanding on our part that Mexico is to reconquer the lost territory in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. kittens. They mated the offspring together and achieved the desired longhaired Siamese. In 1936, Keeler and Cobb produced the first Colourpoint Longhair (Himalayan) type kitten, "Newton's Debutante". They published an article and the "formula" for producing her in the American Journal of Heredity and then abandoned the breeding programme. They had accomplished the goal of studying how the factors were inherited (longhair and colourpoint are both recessive), but did not intend to create a new breed. In Britain, at the Siamese Cat Club Show in 1947, Brian Stirling-Webb was approached by a cat owner, Mrs Barton-Wright, who wanted to mate her "long-haired Siamese queen" to one of his Siamese stud cats. She lived close to his Briarry cattery and was anxious to breed more long-haired Siamese, believing they would make a great addition to the Cat Fancy. Stirling- Webb disagreed and told her that she would get only short-haired kittens from mating her cat with a Siamese

Ridiculously so. I was dying to see Gideon naked. Dying to run my hands and lips all over him. Dying to have another go at driving him crazy. And I was damn near desperate to be under him, to feel him straining over me, pounding into me, coming hard and deep inside me... "Keep thinking those thoughts," he said roughly, "and you'll be late again." I looked at him with raised brows "How did you know what I'm thinking?" "You get this look on your face when you're turned on. I intend to put that look on your face as often as possible." Gideon covered his plate again and stood, withdrawing a business card from his pocket and setting it down beside me. I could see that he'd written his home and cell phone numbers on the back. "I feel stupid asking this question considering our present conversation, but I need your cell phone number." "Oh." I forcibly dragged my thoughts out of the bedroom. "I have to get one first. It's on my to-do list."
