What is needed for good society
Good society needs three things. These things are: rudimentary democratic consent, universal access to human essentials and accessibility to other desirable items . If these aspects are not fulfilled; it is not a good society. In my opinion, good society is not the thing what suits for everybody , because if you will not agree with good society standards, you really are not the person who would be advantageous for this kind of society. Person who is not accepting these standards is communist and only fits in to the dictatorship supportive countries. For being appropriate member for food society you have to accept other people needs and at the same time sacrifice some of your own needs. Good society is not a paradise.
Universal access to human essentials means that everyone have the rights to access elementary things for living , such as: air, water, food, protection from harsh weather ( clothing and shelter), and safety from harm . So these right- hand duds are major for good society, in Estonia these things are usual for some people, but not for anyone . In the world generally I still do not know any place where you can see all the people owning all of these things. So we are doomed. Some thoughts I found at internet : “If there are homeless people on the streets while rooms in mansions sit empty, we do not have a good society.” “If some are idle while others work too much, we do not have a good society.”
Accessibility to other desirable Items means that there is also other basics that could be desired by nearly everyone. These items are like: tasty food, comfortable housing (with furniture, running water, and electric lights ), transportation, a clean and healthy environment, healthcare, meaningful work, regular exercise , rejuvenating leisure , fulfilling relationships, family, and a close -knit community. None of these things are not essential , but life without these is not that fun. A good society would enable for most people to have most of these luxuries and would allow everyone to have just like the least of these items ( even like 1-3 would be enough). Most of the time desirable things are not indispensable, but most of the people who will read my masterpiece could not live without these things. E.F. Schumacher once said: “I’m not at all contemptuous of comforts, but they have their place and it is not first .” and I could not agree more with that saying. If only more people would have this kind of approach to their lifestyle, it would be easier to for us all to live.
Good society is not a paradise, but it is enough for us to get awesome life. And because of the fact that everybody have their own definition of good society, there cannot be single , universal standard- there are at least as many opinions as there are people (this means that there are no laws that make good society, only standards). Luckily most of the humans would agree that in good society there cannot be one leader . And to end this essay I will bring out my good friends Cicero 's quote : “ The good of the people is the highest law.”

Education

Education Education is so multifaceted that it is difficult for me to know where to begin discussing it, or how to prioritize the many factors. Relaying my own experience is easy: I had a standard classroom approach, supplemented by inordinate reading. In only the briefest and least memorable instances did I receive any individual tutoring. Education is commonly thought of as the job of schools. Adults cry "educate our children!" Everyone has opinions about the best way to do the job. It is of urgent importance, and all the

Why do we need morality

Why do we need morality?

This means that people are constantly competing with each other and that makes all of us (who desire the same things) enemies. Hobbes names the insecurity and fear people feel towards each other a "state of nature". In this state there are no moral rules or enforced laws, also no justice or injustice. People, being violent and arbitrary, will only follow their own interest. So without laws and boundaries, people would be in constant war - every man for himself. In this kind of society there is no time for cultural or industrial development. No one can enjoy life because of the constant fear they life in. The "state of nature" or in other words chaos is not be beneficial to anyone. So to get what we all want - happiness, peace and security, we must make compromises and obey the laws and moral rules. In general, morality is a form of social control. As long as most of us follow the rules and cooperate, our lives are good

THE VALUE OF THINGS VS THE PRICE OF THINGS

Anna-Maria THE VALUE OF THINGS VS THE PRICE OF THINGS The price and value of things has changed a lot of over the times. Every person value things variously. It depends on people, what they think is important for them, some people value expensive things like diamonds or highly rated technology, some people on the other value things that are not financially valuable, like family, love or friends. The value of things is quite different from the price of things. A good example to prove it, is Apple. The price of Apple products are simply overrated. Iphone is like any other phone, but people buy it just to be popular and because everyone else are buying them. For Apple it is

ESTONIAN EDUCATION POLICY. MAIN PROBLEMS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS Hanna-Loora Bobrov Since I was a teenager, I remember thinking of the school education quality. How to improve it, where teacher could be more efficient and how to make a better environment for the pupils. And now all these years later I am a young teacher and it is still important for me what is going on within my society in education. I believe I have some kind of advance of knowing what is really going on in Estonian schools and how the education policy really works. Because not long ago I finished the high school, before that changing a lot of different schools and I think I can say that I superficially know how different schools are working in various regions of Estonia. Being a student at the faculty of education has opened my eyes for a lot of different things,

Kodutöö 1 17.09 1. What is site-specificity and Genius Loci (spirit of place)? Site-specificity is an abstract understanding of place/site what is used to manifest “best” qualities of it. Usually this term is used when nature, vocation and all spheres what around the place are analyzed and object (art object, building or installation) fits perfect in this place. Object needs to be in harmony (balanced) with the environment. Site-specificity is place character or atmosphere what human can feel but can’t scientifically measured. As I understood site-specificity is all what surrounds it: nature as greenery, nature as weather (climate), traditions of humans, history of the place, etc. Genius Loci is the spirit of place. How I understood Genius Loci is the idea that every a human has his own place in this world and every human needs to identify himself. Before modern timeline human was in opposite with the place where he lived, he tried
