Essee Choices after elementary school

Choices after secondary school There are lots of choices after secondary school. The main question is which is better to do - to work or go to university. Both options give many advantages. On the one hand, there are definitely some good sides to going to work. If you could not choose the subject that you would study to learn then it is better to get a job. Working can show if there are any of professions you are good at, as it will arouse your interest in certain occupations. On the other hand, many people know what they want to do with their life after secondary school and therefore going to university is a good idea. After graduating university it is easier to find a job, because you will have a necessary education then. In my opinion, it is better to go to university after high school because 18-year-old students are not ready to start their career. They do not have any profession after graduati...

United States and Estonian education systems Essee inka.

Most children enter the public education system around ages five or six. Children are assigned into year groups known as grades, beginning with preschool, followed by kindergarten and culminating in twelfth grade. The American educational system comprises 12 grades of study over 12 calendar years of primary and secondary education before graduating and becoming eligible for college admission. After pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, there are five years in primary school (normally known as elementary school). After completing five grades, the student will enter junior high or middle school and then high school to get the high school diploma. According to the National Association of School Nurses, 17% of students are considered obese and 32% are overweight. Schooling is compulsory for all children in the United States, but the age range for which school attendance is required varies from state to state

same amount of time as our Estonian children. And basically learn same amount of same things. Like everywhere there are always differences. Education in the United States is mainly provided by the public sector, with control and funding coming from three levels: federal, state, and local. Child education is compulsory. A sub-type of compulsory education is public education. Public education is universal at the primary and secondary levels (known inside the United States as the elementary and high school levels). At these levels, school curricula, funding, teaching, and other policies are set through locally elected school boards with jurisdiction over school districts. School districts are usually separate from other local jurisdictions, with independent officials and budgets. Yet in Estonia our school system mainly stands on government. Public schools gets their funding from government and it's controlled directly by the municipal government

secular and compulsory between the ages of 6 and 16. However, there are some private schools that are not subject to these obligations and particularities of the French education system. Nursery school classes accept toddlers at 2 or 3 years of age, starting in September. The children develop their basic faculties, improve their speaking skills and are introduced to the world of reading and writing, numbers and other key areas of learning. From age 6 to 11, the children attend elementary school which is mixed and freein the case of public (state) schools. The 'collège' accepts all pupils after elementary school without the need to pass an entrance exam. The teaching is structured by subject: French, mathematics, history-geography, 'civics' or civil education, biology and earth sciences, technology, art, music, PE, physics-chemistry. The objectives are fixed by national programmes.

Does children who have a very high IQ need special education at schools?

Some people say that children who have a very high IQ need special education at schools that are specifically designed for people like them. I couldn't agree more because usually people with very high IQ are a little bit different than people who have normal IQ. First of all, I would like to say that when kids are in elementary school and some of them are smarter and quicker than others they may be labeled as nerds and weirdos. They are also often ostracized. Another thing is that, in extremis gifted children often knows more than their teachers and are very bored. Gifted students need more than most regular schools can offer to them to improve their knowledge. On the other hand, some of them, who have very high IQ, may be very different than normal people. Some of them may have disabilities like autism, anxiety

Level of education

A significant number of men have basic education. This implies that most men prefer not to pursue education. In case of women, they want to get a better education. This is demonstrated by the fact that only 18 % of women have basic education. A large proportion of women have chosen secondary vocational. This indicates that is chosen an occupation, which suggest a fixed income. A higher level of education is not certainly necessary. This is illustrated by the fact that about 6 % of people have elementary education. A small number of men and women have no schooling. This suggests that some people do not have opportunity to get an education. A substantial number of people have a university degree. This implies that education is valued and people achieve goals. In conclusion, different levels of education are spreaded out in people and having a higher level of education is made much of. actually i came here because i have an exercise for school. i study english and i had to do a story

There should be more e-learning lessons, because when I can't or do not want to go to school today then I can do the lessons at home on my own and then submit them to the teacher. If I were the minister of education, then I would do all that what makes kids love school. All teachers should love children and also love working with them. Teachers should believe in children's abilities. At least in elementary schools falling out should be impossible. I would do anything it takes for all kids to get the best education they need. Konrad Mägi in English

He has also participated in the foundation of the art association and school "Pallas". He was one of the most colour-sensitive Estonian painters of the first decades of the 20th century, and Mägi's works on motives of the island of Saaremaa are the first modern Estonian nature paintings. As well as nature paintings, he also painted flowers and portraits. He always used sky in his paintings. His favourite colour was cadmium red, which is quite light and warm red tone. Mägi received his elementary art education from the drawing courses of the German Artisans' Society of Tartu. Mägi continued his art education in Saint Petersburg, where he was expelled due to his participation in revolutionary activities. Then he spent the summer on the islands of Åland in Finland and after that moved on to Paris. There Mägi practised drawing at free academies. After that, he lived in Norway, where he actually executed his first masterpieces a series of Norwegian landscapes. In 1912 Konrad Mägi

Text about Disc Golf

Disc golf, is a flying disc game, as well as a precision and accuracy sport, in which individual players throw a flying disc at a target. The early history of disc golf is closely tied to the history of the recreational flying disc and may have been invented in the early 1900s.The first known instance of anyone playing golf with a flying disc occurred in Canada in 1926. Ronald Gibson and a group of his Bladworth Elementary School buddies played a game throwing tin plates at targets such as trees and fence posts. They called the game Tin Lid Golf and played on a fairly regular basis on a disc golf course they laid out on their school grounds. But, after they grew older and went their separate ways, the game came to an end. Modern disc golf started in the early 1960s, when it seems to have been invented in many places and by many people independently. Students at Rice University in Houston, Texas, for example, held tournaments with trees...

I told about that to my friend and she had also recognized that her math skills have reverted. A century ago nobody knew technical instruments such as calculator or computer. People calculated by themselves, the letters were sent by post and people had more time to spend with family than nowadays, because now the majority of us are spending time on the Internet. So is the development of technique our fortune or accident? Of course the technique makes our lives easier. New agricultural machines are able to do more work than we. Planes and ships enable us to discover foreign countries thousands of miles away and broaden the mind. Moreover we have a chance to find interesting and educating information from computer, but with what price? All these robots and facilities prevent us from t...

Should class attendance be mandatory for university students?

Should class attendance be mandatory for university students? It has been heavily debated, whether class attendance in general should be compulsory or optional. While most people can agree on the necessity of class attendance in elementary, as well as secondary school being obligatory, then opinions on required class attendance at university are quite divided. Both two alternatives have their respective up- and downsides but all aspects considered, which is more beneficial? To start off, the students’ chosen specialty usually reflects their interests which means that said students, in fact, want to attend classes. In this case, it seems unnecessary to make classes

Learn From Mistakes, Improve Your Intelligence

for a better future, to learn, to differ the wrong form the right. Now why do we bollocks up in the first place? The answer lies in you, yourself have to find out why did you fail and what can be learned from it. Frequent failing can cause sadness, depression and lack of motivation but it's not the way to go if you want to succeed in life and become a better you. It's better to understand your mistakes and learn from them to expand your knowledge rather to get everything right and stay on elementary level of problem solving. To fail or not to fail, that is the question. To everyone who state they've never felt failure, first of all, remember when you missed the bus or burnt a meal, tripped over something or got an F in school, they are all but backslides. Secondly if you've never failed you have yet been successful to learn anything in this life. My point is: it's better to fail than do everything right

What is needed for good society

not agree with good society standards, you really are not the person who would be advantageous for this kind of society. Person who is not accepting these standards is communist and only fits in to the dictatorship supportive countries. For being appropriate member for food society you have to accept other people needs and at the same time sacrifice some of your own needs. Good society is not a paradise. Universal access to human essentials means that everyone have the rights to access elementary things for living, such as: air, water, food, protection from harsh weather (clothing and shelter), and safety from harm. So these right-hand duds are major for good society, in Estonia these things are usual for some people, but not for anyone. In the world generally I still do not know any place where you can see all the people owning all of these things. So we are doomed. Some thoughts I found at internet: “If

Children begin at elementary school, move on to middle school and finish at high school, where most gain a diploma. New York offers a variety of high schools for pupils who want to specialize from their teenage years, for example the School of the Performing Arts. New Yorkers seem to be always on the move. In Manhattan the pavements are full of pedestrians, while cars, buses and taxis jam the roads. Driving in central New York is only for the daring, so people often take one of the famous yellow taxis instead

Why I came to study English essay

competitions left and right and not only that. By that time I had also found out that I loved to write, specially poems and I used every opportunity to submit my works for competitions and I had the luck to win some of them. It felt good to be one of the best students in our class. As the school went on and I finally found myself in 9 th grade, just before the exams, and I realised that in the following years after my graduation from elementary school, my mathematic skills had gotten a bit rusty and I was mortified. Our teachers kept saying to us that math is really important in the future and that you have to have the knowledge in mathemathics to actually achieve something in your life. But still, there I was, writing poems and essays, even in my free time, because unlike my skills in maths and other subjects like chemistry and biology, my skills in writing had actually improved and I had also discovered my love of reading in English

Positive sides of outdoor learning

that students are keen on and parents are too cautious, preventing accidents. Outdoor education can improve student's health, while taking place in fresh air and making students physically active. The more students show their potential and skills, the more parents will allow them to be independent. If we want to set the pattern of being active daily, we should involve outdoor education into our curriculum on a regular basis. Students practitioning outdoor education already in elementary school are more likely to be physically active and enjoy outdoors in their future life too. Outdoor education includes lots of teamwork and interaction between students, therefore it is an excellent way to get students socializing. All students need friends in school. Sometimes it is hard for some pupils to make friends and they need help. Doing teamwork in lessons are always a good way to get children communicating and making platforms for further friendships

Sotsioloogia essee: Hechter ja Horne

Q: Social order requires social behaviour to be predictable and individuals to cooperate. Amongst the explanations of social order are five outlined by Hechter and Horne: `meaning', `values and norms', `power and authority', `spontaneous interaction' and `networks and groups'. Describe how at least three of these (or other) factors might explain social order, and discuss the extent to which you find the explanations convincing. Introduction For societies to cohere and cooperate, it is necessary for individuals within them to have a predictable and collaborative behaviour. The presence of social order enables individuals to feel more secure publicly, as it enables them to somewhat predict their lives. Social order is also necessary for stability and serves as the basis for collective advancements. There are several theories and explanations for why social order persists and emerges. Hechter and Horne in the reader Theories of Social Ord...

Libraries

Our school library is very nice in my opinion. It is also good compared to other school libraries in our country, even one of the best. It has many good books and it's good to spend time there, laying on a couch and reading a magazine. There are about 16000 books there and you can use them there or take them home with you. If you want to borrow a book, you must take it to the librarian and she will write up your name to the database, the name of the book and the date of borrowing. Elementary school pupils can take book home for two weeks to one month. High school pupils can borrow the books for one month but they can prolong the time. If you lose your book you have to compensate for the loss. You can either buy the same book and or buy a book that the librarian values equivalent to the lost one. If you return the book when the date has expired you don't have to pay a fine for it. We have fiction on the 2nd floor and non-fiction, periodicals and reference

Summary of philosophy of right (õiguse filosoofia kokkuvõte)

between individuals for one another's rights, is only a particular expression of a wider and deeper dimension of moral life that Hegel calls ethical life. Ethical life is a system of norms and mores belonging to a social body, made up of spheres of social interaction and interdependence in which all individuals are embedded. Ethical life is present in the three important levels of social life. In its most elementary form, it is present in the family and finds expression in basic emotions such as love and altruism. In civil society, a sphere of social interaction corresponds to economic life or the "system of needs." Civil society engages individuals as bearers of Abstract Rights, as owners of property and bearers of legal rights. In civil society, individuals relate to one another in universal terms. While private property as the basis of abstract right and morality is a positive force in promoting
