Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment Just like our bodies, the environment functions best when it's in balance. Unfortunately, we're not quite there. Many of us believe that we lead lives that respect nature but our consumption habits give us away. Many little habits that seem to be sustainable are in fact polluting. Along with pollution, issues like depletion of resources, the rise of consumerism, and the "throw away" culture have led to serious issues. That being said, the fight's not over yet. Fortunately, more people than ever are both aware of and active in the protection of the environment. To protect the environment, waste management and recycling are crucial. When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw material from the Earth, through mining and forestry. R...
headaches. Then, vomiting, diarrhea and rash usually follow, along with decreased function of the liver and kidneys. At this time, generally, some people begin to bleed both internally and externally. The aim of an article is to inform people of Ebola and make them think that it is not just a disease it is very dangerous disease because of how easily it spreads. The article "Why Ebola is so dangerous" is very current right now because the disease is spreading all the time, and more and more people are dying due to it. There is no cure for the ones with Ebola. It is very important right now to talk to people about

How far can we go being tolerant? Tolerance- it is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody ot something especially opinions or behaviuor that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you. When we speak about tolerance and being tolerant, then of course all of us do not have the same opinion about tolerance. There is saying that there are as many different opinions as people in the world and talking about tolerance is not different. How we tolerate other people and their behaviour depends a lot of how we are raised and educated, where we live and who we connect to When we hear word ,,tolerant" then mostly we connect it with homo sexuals, racism, religion and all kinds of different people(disabled people for example) and how we tolerate those things. Speaking of homo sexuals then for me they are same people as I am and I have nothing against them
Soon after that the makers of the first radio realized that it could also be used for `broadcasting'messages for information or entertainment. Regular radio bradcasting had first started in the United States in 1921. It was immediately popular. New radio stations mushroomed. Journalism is one of the most importnant professions. It informs citizens about events is the community, the nation, and the world. The reports of journalists also help people form opinions about current affairs. Every day, journalists throughout the world gather, write and edit material for thousands of news stories. Local reporters, for example, cover school board meetings, fires, sports events and other local stories. Other journalists, including foreign correspondents cover national and international news. In democratic countries, people depend on the news media for the fair and truthful reporting of current events. These nations grant the press freedom to report
To give an answer by topic I decided to hear the views of other people. I was published a topic in Facebook. The theme was "How to survive in Estonia. Guide for foreigner". Analyzing the answers I see the stratification of society, where one side is set extremely negative, but I am glad that there are positive opinions about living in Estonia. But everything in order: The first group of people are inclined to say that in Estonia is difficult even for local people and what to say about those who come from abroad. The problem is particularly acute elderly (old people). Their pensions are small, wherefore they are often forced to work. When people say about government, they responds terms like "corruption" and "incompetence". It is sad to state
What is funny about it all, that people with similar lifestyle and habits do not define themselves as hippies, they might even hate the hippies, altough they life the same way. In my opinion, the 1960’s hippies behaviour has been an influence on today’s adolescents. At the head - hipsters. If I look at my friends and people I communicate, then many of them have the attitude “I don’t care” or the same “If it feels good, do it”. They don’t bother themselves with the opinions of others nor ask for the opinions of others. I can say that even I think kind of the same way. Why should I care about what someone thinks of me when I am happy the way I am? We all have only one life, so why not live this life to the fullest? Enjoy all the little things, show love and kindness, do good things and make your life the best it is in your opinion!
I couldn't live without music What is music? In my opinion music is a real art, not only a sound and lyrics. It makes people want to sing or dance. It makes us feel happy, sad, inspired or uplifted. Music influences our mood in all kinds of infinite ways. Music is outlet for my feelings. I can't find one song that doesn't remind me someone or something i've been went through. Music is all around me and influences my feelings and sometimes my opinions as well. It brings me up when I'm down and it also brings a smile on my face. I can't imagine a life in silence without radio, music videos and probably without movies either because a movie without music is an authentic. Life is not the same without it. In conclusion I can't imagine a world without music, but in fact it is impossible to imagine things that are possible. There will always be music in the world, so there is no way to imagine what it would be without it.

even violent movies where they can see crime and investigation. I think a good movie has to be true-to-life and stunning. I especially love movies that surprise me. A superb movie has to be educative it has to let me know about something new. The best movies have professional actors. Without great actors and actresses, the movies are not so stunning. They need to make the movies seem real and original. People don't think the same way. We have different opinions, so not everyone like the movies that I enjoy watching. Nevertheless a movie has to be fascinating and gripping to make me enjoy it.

6000 EEK for one trip. Adults like to travel by car too and their favourite accommodation is a hotel, while older people like comfort. More than 90% of questioned adults found that a hotel is the best accommodation. Adults are willing to pay about 5000 EEK for one trip. Most of the questioned people would like to go to Spain, China and USA but in Estonia they would go on the islands and to the South-Estonia. To sum up can be said that adults and students do not have very different opinions. The biggest difference between the students and adults was the price that they are ready to pay for one trip. Students are ready to pay more money that adults.
Television Television is the most common way to spend free time. Although everyone watch TV, they still have different opinions about it. I think TV helps people to be closer to news or other important incidents. Especially now when there's a economic crisis everywhere and people wants to know what's happening around them. TV also helps you to relax easily. It is a lot of fun to watch TV and have a beer with your friends. TV also helps to take up a new topic to talk about. Some TV programmes are very educating and help students with their school work. My favorite TV programmes are political talkshows
You what you eat Anthelme Brillat-Savarin once said ''Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are''. Is it really true or not? There are a great amount of opinions in the world. Firstly, from my point of view we could make certain of a man by his food preferences. Food would inform not only about man's favourite meals but also about his life. Moreover where and what does the man eat tell us about his resources. With regard to the national food could tell about nationality and religion. Secondly, man's nutrition demonstrates his relation to life because life depends directly on health in its turn health depends on nutrition
Has the Growth of Technology Improved People's Lives? It is known that technology was created to be useful for people. Nowadays there are different opinions whether technology has made our life better or it is the worst achievement of the human being. On the one hand, technology makes our life easier and it saves our time. Just imagine, if machinery had not been invented, we would spend whole days on doing our house work. Moreover, as we live in the information society, collecting data is essential for us. It is also more comfortable to search for information without having to leaf through an encyclopedia and using a contemporary computer instead

Crime is a Disease Every day there are thousands of crimes commited in the world. Some are accidental, others planned. People have different opinions what should be done with criminals. Some say that as primitive people they need primitive punishment. Therefore they would just be sentenced a large fine or sent to jail. I think that putting criminals in prison should help and change them, but in reality it doesn’t go like that. Even if they get out of prison or pay their fine, they usually fall back to their old ways and commit another crime. Criminals have different backgrounds so they have different reasons for their actions. Some
The obstacle can very easily be even the language. If you don't know or understand the language of the country, it can be very tricky to live on. But in good will, learning the language isn't very hard, unless you're learning Chinese symbols. The threat of terrorism may get worse as the result of multiculturalism. Many people can also choose the wrong path, so they may become criminals and murderers. As well there may arise problems, disagreements and opposite opinions about racism. Multiculturalism is good and beneficial, when it when it doesn't destroy the country's own traditions, habits and of course people. In that way, multiculturalism is useful and developing society !

theatre.TV is a great force in the world. It enriches1 our intellect, gives us opportunities to see the best actors and performances, to hear the latest news, to listen to political discussions. TV gives wonderful possibilities for education and helps us to relax after a day's work. There is a considerable variety of programs, and we can choose what we want to see. TV brings the world into our living room. We can learn more of other countries, customs, occupations, opinions, problems -- you can see a programme which enjoy you most: current events, documentaries, sport and educational programmes, films, plays, the arts, news, variety shows, etc. You always decide which programme is the most exciting, valuable, informative or amusing and is worth seeing. Subject: Proposal concerning the new shopping center Date: November 11, 2013 Introduction The purpose of this proposal is to give insight into the residents' committee's opinions regarding the new shopping center. Reasons it should be built The resident's committee has concluded that the new shopping center would be useful for people in our town as it would give them more choice in where to shop. Also, since there are no any decent sized shopping centers nor malls nearby, the new one would make people's lives easier since they would not have to drive as far out of the town as they are used to at the moment. Stores the shopping center should contain
many changes. From the Magna Carta to the creation of the English Parliament, England laid the foundation for representative government and regulated sovereignty. The Magna Carta clearly defined the ancient rights and privileges of the people 1. It established the principle that the king no longer had absolute control, and prevented English rulers from taking advantage of their subjects. Later, England would institute a Parliament to allow British nobles the opportunity to voice their opinions in political matters. This entire process moved the world one step closer to the types of governments that are seen today. 3.12.2012
Lisett Oras 10a It is better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven People have different opinions about this quote. It makes them think and discuss about Hell and Heaven. I think that this quote means that it is much easier to be a ruler of a place that has no rules and bans. People are allowed to do anything they want, but they still have to somehow obey to the ruler of the Hell s. However in Heaven the ruler has been and will be God. There you must obey and honor the God anyway. If you have lived your life like God would have wanted you to live and you already

"To like and dislike the same things, that is indeed true friendship" Friendship is based on many things. You have to have trust, respect, humour and many other things with the person so he or she could become a good friend. But maybe one of the most important things is to have something in common. When I think about my best friends then I can really see how much we have in common. We very often think the same about life, things and people. We share very many viewpoints and agree on so many things. There is always something to talk about and fun never ends. It's sometimes great to have somebody who shares your ideas. Then you know that you are not alone and you can complain to someone who really understands. On the other hand, I can also see, when looking at my friendships, that having the same ideas and thoughts can sometimes be disturbing and boring. I like to be different. I like to have my own...
There are lots of inventions being made to spare our time and make our lives easier. The invention I am going to talk about is an internet, which I find is one of the most important contraptions. However, the opinions about the computer network are very opposed. The first advantage is that internet is very easy and quick to use. Whereas uploading news to the computer network is very fast, is the internet better than TV shows or radio. Secondly is an internet the biggest infomation resource, where you can find almost anything you need. The third point is wide opportunity of communicating with other people. For instance you may use different programs such as skype or MSN Messenger.
men and women. Australians are friendly and open, but directness and punctuality is very important. They maintain good eye contact during conversations. They bring small gift of chocolate, wine or flowers if invited to someone's home, but gift giving is not very common in bussiness. They avoid littering and when approaching a queue, they go to the end and wait their turn. Australians shake hands when meeting and when leaving and some women may greet each other wit a kiss on the cheek. Opinions are respected in Australia. Australians are active listeners and if they can't catch something they will ask. They love talking about sightseeing and sports. Australians love tea and they drink afternoon tea at 4pm and evening tea at 6- 8pm. The main things to consider while going to australia are that there is very warm and they are very friendly and open to conversations. Australian population is located in a few major urban centres.
mean as every person has his own view on it, which depends on our lifestyle and upbringings. There are a lot of kinds of freedom in the modern world. It can affect on people`s life positively as well as may cause different problems. To begin with, there are certain arguments in favour of being free. Firstly, people in developed countries have a freedom of speech. As a result, democratic policy in such regions offers a great opportunity to citizens to have their opinions heard and be considered. Moreover, some people suggest that being free mean material independence. If a man provide himself (materially), he is able to act as he wants to do it. In spite of having many advantages, being free may also be harmful for certain people. The most important disadvantage is that too much freedom in children`s upbringings could cause a big variety of problems of person`s character in the future life. For instance, that young ones, who
Marriage is an outdated institution Is marriage a wonderful institution nowadays, when the meaning of this word is totally different from the meaning that expanded many years ago? Is this document which indicate the union of two people who have given a permission to love each other in sickness and in health, until the death do they part is the evidence of everlasting love? I think the answer for these questions is No and I would talk about my opinions why i think so. First of all, i think everyone know that the rate of divorces is quite high. For example, 50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce in America. There are many reasons why this happen and people get divorced. Infidelity, poor communication, change in priorities and cte. Nobody can't say that it does no happen to us, because we love each other so much. but never say never, because if your marriage ends you
Sandra Demitseva Capital punishment The opinions on capital punishment are usually based on justice and moral. There are people who believe that an ideal community should be merciful even to the ones who have not shown mercy, but there are also people who think that violating the rights of fellow members of the community, particularly if it happens consistently, should be punished as severely as the death sentence. Most Christians are firmly against capital punishment, because they believe that there is some
Computerised world – a better or a worse place to live in ? Although computers are said to be one of the most successful inventions there are many people who do not totally agree with that saying. Computers are able to do everything that make our life easier, but why are there still so many different opinions about ones' usefulness? The positive side of having computers in our life is how much it actually changes our life and makes it easier. There are no problems, I mean literally no problems that computers could not do. Computers are used to find information, read news, study, and some even play computer games. But to be exact, computer is not only that small box that stays under our desks or the lap-tops that are well known today
What makes a good leader? There are many different leadership theories and opinions about characteristics and skills that leader should have. The Great Man Theory declares that the leaders are born not made, but the another theory claims that some people just have more leadership gifts than others. It's good to know leadership theories because the better you know them, the better you are likely to lead. If you want to succeed in your career or business, it is important to be the leader in your field. Leaders

Relvakonflikte saab liigitada erinevatesse gruppidesse ning neid on kokku neli: 1.ulatus eristatakse ühe riigi või selle piirialade lähistele jäävat, mitut lähialade naaberiiki haaravat ja globaalset leviala 2.kasutatav relvastus tavarelvastus, keemia-, tuuma- või bioloogiline relvastus 3.taktika konventsionaalne (õhu-, mere või maaoperatsioonid, väeliikide kombineeritud lahingutegevus) ja mittekonventsionaalne (sisetegevus, terroism) sõjategevus 4.kestus lühiajaline relvakonflikt (mõni päev kuni 1 kuu kestev sõjategevus) ja pikaajaline relvakonflikt (mitu kuud või aasta kestev sõjategevus) Inimesed üle kogu maailma on pidevalt arutanud selle ...
The role of the free press Newspapers and magazines play an imoportant role in today's society and are capable of influencing people's lives in many ways. The new electronic media have become even more influential in shaping people's opinions, attitudes and behaviour. However, does the free press offer a valuable service, or is it, as American journalist, Edward Egglestone said, "organised gossip"? On a personal level, the media can be very entertaining and informative. Reading about the lifestyles of the rich and famous is amusing and can help people forget their own problems. However, journalists frequently intrude on the privacy of celebrities, following
Friends have more influence than family Mikk Ludvi 10.a Parents always want best for their children. However when people are teenager they don't want their parent's advises or opinions .In this period the most important thing in young adults life is being popular, having more friend, more parties or more fun. For them parents are only bar to achieve that. Parents don't influence their children and they don't understand each other. Therefore I think teenagers are influenced by their friends more than their parents. Teenagers can get along well with their peers easily because they have same expectations about life. In school, in their social life they always with their friends
Men and women in politics Women have become a force to be reckoned with in the world of politics. Over the past decade, women have resolved into leadership positions, encouraging the same sex to voice their opinions in voting booths, political debates, and society. Not only in America, but nationwide. Women comprise over 35 percent of the lower house in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Demark; 15 percent or less are seen in parliaments within ten countries . Over the years, women had to protest and fight for this right so that young women today can vote and have a say so in who represents the people of our city, state, and country. A woman's influence in politics has yet to be recognized
Should class attendance be mandatory for university students? It has been heavily debated, whether class attendance in general should be compulsory or optional. While most people can agree on the necessity of class attendance in elementary, as well as secondary school being obligatory, then opinions on required class attendance at university are quite divided. Both two alternatives have their respective up- and downsides but all aspects considered, which is more beneficial? To start off, the students’ chosen specialty usually reflects their interests which means that said students, in fact, want to attend classes. In this case, it seems unnecessary to make classes mandatory as it will be more time consuming and virtually even pointless for them to explain their reason for absence

once said: “I’m not at all contemptuous of comforts, but they have their place and it is not first.” and I could not agree more with that saying. If only more people would have this kind of approach to their lifestyle, it would be easier to for us all to live. Good society is not a paradise, but it is enough for us to get awesome life. And because of the fact that everybody have their own definition of good society, there cannot be single, universal standard- there are at least as many opinions as there are people (this means that there are no laws that make good society, only standards). Luckily most of the humans would agree that in good society there cannot be one leader. And to end this essay I will bring out my good friends Cicero's quote: “ The good of the people is the highest law.”

Tolerance is the ability to be fair and understanding to people whose ways and opinions are different from one's own. It seems like a good and challenging streak to have, but the question is, how far we can go with it. I would say not very far. More and more media and public encourage us to be tolerant to homosexuals and their lifestyle and many countries have actually made their marriages legal and tolerate them. Also, there have been numerous discussions on whether they should have the right to have, adopt and raise children.
Media and television are the main influencers. People today just watch television, read newspapers, magazines and take almost everything they say very seriously. Sometimes it seems that people's brains have been paralyzed by the media. They are not able to think themselves, which leads them to stereotypes created by mass media. Today young people are more tolerant than the elder ones. They don't have stereotypes of people built in their mind. In addition they are not influenced by elder's opinions. Elder people do not agree with the fact that their daughter or son might get married to a representative of another race. However young people would say that love is blind and so is friendship. Diversity is related to tolerance. Countries with rich diversity also do not have a tolerance problem. However, small countries with only one or two nationalities can be the centre of such problem. The people in these countries do not have any experiences with other origin folk,
dwarf the importance of sporting trophies and achievements in such a way that sports becomes relative to the size of a gnat to an elephant. How long will we continue to delude ourselves about the importance of sports and its participants in relation to the value and vital nature of research technologies? The question of "what is a sport?" was recently bandied about on the BleacherReport.com and besides the myriad of opinions is this. A sport is merely a pastime, an amusement and nothing else. It makes me laugh to see how seriously it seems to be taken, by so many, considering the plight we are putting ourselves in ecologically. Besides all of this, I myself still enjoy sport and being distracted by it. It is merely the importance placed on it that bothers me so much. It remains ridiculous to me that the pursuit of sport has gotten to be in certain situations to be a more powerful thing than the pursuit of knowledge
Understanding between the members of the family and consideration for others are very important in family relationship. Tenderness, warm-heartedness and respect must always be present in the family to make it friendly. A lot of activities help members of the family to be on friendly terms: discussing all the family plans together, going on trips hikes together, visiting museums, theaters, exhibitions and exchanging opinions about them, sharing the same joys and sorrows. If you think of the others in the family you show your love and attention in everyday life, you can hurt them if you are selfish, not sincere and rude.
