Report ehk aruanne

Report The aim of this report is to give information about what kind of items should be sold as our school's souvenirs. Many people think that items sold as souvenirs should be items that a person uses on a daily basis. The best items to sell would be mugs, pens and T-shirts. Our school emblem is an eagle spreading it's wings, therefore, the souvenirs should have a picture of an eagle on them. Another option would be to print our school's initials on those items. Initials do not take much space and above all they are practical. It is believed that red and yellow are irritating colors, blue and green on the other hand are soothing. Keeping that in mind, the souvenirs should be in blue and green shades. Text on

Police warn of 'lethal' fake beauty products on sale

Police warn of 'lethal' fake beauty products on sale Police have warned that rats' droppings, human urine and arsenic have all been found in potentially lethal fake beauty products on sale to British consumers. Counterfeit make-up, perfume, hair straighteners and sun creams are all affected, warn the City of London Police. At least £90 million is spent every year on fake items as the rapid growth of online shopping has expanded the market. Counterfeit beauty products have become increasingly common and are readily available on auction sites, online forums and social media. Authenticating products has become more challenging as shoppers are unable to physically inspect items before committing to purchase them. Police warned that criminals are using generic stock images to deceive consumers into believing the items they are browsing are authentic.

What is needed for good society

What is needed for good society Good society needs three things. These things are: rudimentary democratic consent, universal access to human essentials and accessibility to other desirable items. If these aspects are not fulfilled; it is not a good society. In my opinion, good society is not the thing what suits for everybody, because if you will not agree with good society standards, you really are not the person who would be advantageous for this kind of society. Person who is not accepting these standards is communist and only fits in to the dictatorship supportive countries. For being appropriate member for food society you have to accept

Litter in our country

A lack of bins is not a major factor in littering. Sometimes you can see the bin in the street, and a pile of litter half a meter away from it. The main reason of littering is behaviour. The more litter people see on the street the more inclined to litter. For example, cinema complexes, football ground and theatres are cleaned up but such areas as parks and streets are neglected. But people don't think that litter can be dangerous. It can especially be dangerous when it involves items such as broken glass, needles and syringes. Litter can get into the drainage system and block it. Litter scattered all over the city. Makes it look ugly. And it usually costs a lot of money to clean up the city every year. But the biggest problem is municipal dumps, because they cause environmental pollution. Most of the municipal dumps are filled with plastic bags, different wrapping, shopping bags and supermarket bags. We can also see empty cans from different drinks, broken glass and others

Report - how to make buildings more crime-proof

To: The Crime Prevention Officer From: - Date: 28 October 2010 Subject: Increase in crimes Introduction The purpose of this report is to suggest reasons why criminals target the area and give some advice on how to make buildings more crime-proof. 1 Inveiglement Firstly, people keep their valuable items in the visible places like on the window sill and that entices the criminals. Recommendation: Valuable items should be put away, where it is impossible to see them from the window. 2 Security systems Another thing to mention is that people do not give much attention to the security of their houses. That decreases dread of being caught and criminals are getting more and more impudent. Recommendation: Security systems and security cameras should be installed in the buildings. That increases the chance that the criminals will be caught or they dare not to commit the crime. 3 Dogs

Report to the shop manager

To: Walter White, Manager From: Rick Grimes Subject: Suggested improvements to make the shop more profitable Date: 3rd December 2012 Purpose: The purpose of this report is to make recommendations on how to improve the shop and make it more profitable. Discounts: Firstly, one suggestion would be to make several discounts on popural products. For example, reducing the price of a popural item by about 15 percent would really pay off. Also if a customer buys two same items, he gets the third one for free. This would certainly be profitable and I am confident that more people would visit your shop. Extra shop assistants: Lastly, I think that hiring an extra two or three shop assistants would be a very good idea too. Then customers would have to wait less to pay for their items and the shop could service a lot more customers than before. Bonuses for regular customers: Secondly, I think that regular customers who have been visting your shop for years, should

Use of plastic products

From the car you drive to work in to the television you watch when you get home, plastics help make your life easier and better. But what is plastic impact on wildlife? In the 21st century, people have become their own killers. From countryside to the cities, the use of plastic materials has greatly increased. In the grocery stores, tons of products are packaged using plastic materials. About 30 years ago, in some countries , there were no plastic bags used for packaging and carrying items. Items in the shops were packed in biodegradable paper bags. Plastic bags as litter create a visual pollution problem, and affect our aquatic wildlife. Many of the grocery store use the plastic bags as a tool to keep the things easy to carrying. Plastic bags aren’t just at the grocery store, there everywhere, landfills ,some coutrys they are even in the lakes, hanging on trees around our neighborhoods and suffocating wildlife

It is said that advertising is legalized lying

It is said that advertising is legalized lying. Are the advertised products as useful and needed as they are presented to be? Ads want to make us believe that we need the things or services they are advertising. Advertisements are often placed anywhere people can easily see or hear the information such as TV- or radio commercials. Most of the potential consumers look at the products offered by the media and assume that these items would be effective and useful to them in everyday use. Therefore people who create advertisements have realized that consumers want to buy items that famous people have advertised. The stars prmoting the product most of the time dont even use it. They are just hired to make people believe that the products promoted are the best on the market. Companies need ads to make their product stand out of the large competition in the market. But are they lying? I don't think so

Yours sincerely, Mari Mets 20th February, 2015 Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you regarding the clothes I bought in your online shop on 15 th February,2015. When I received the package I was quite disappointed as there are several problems. On your web page it was said if you buy clothes or items for 100 € then you do not have to pay the shipping cost, but the bill includes it. The quality of the clothes is below the standard. The jacket that I bought has a broken zip and the jeans miss a button. Also, the sports bag’s strap is missing. Finally, the boots are of the wrong size. I ordered size 39 but I got size 41. I insist that you replace all the items. However, if this is not the policy of the company I would like a full refund. I look forward to hearing from you.

Types of Warehouses

Such pick and pack operations require special inventory management and picking procedures. Location tracking is essential. Billing methods are generally similar to distribution warehouses. Storage Warehouses Warehouses which store product for periodic delivery to a manufacturer or distribution center. This is often associated with providing just in time delivery of the product to the consignee. This could be imported raw materials or items used in the manufacturing process, such as cans or sub-assemblies. Items are generally tracked by lot, with the lot often being specified for delivery. Handling, storage and accessorial charges are similar to distribution warehouses. Refrigerated Warehouses Refrigerated warehouses often require more detailed tracking of product and special billing procedures. Handling charges often involve a table of decreasing charges based on volume. Often each transaction is subject to a minimum charge

from your online shop a few days ago. There are several aspects of my purchase that I am not satisfied with. The first thing I would like to draw your attention to is the shipping cost, which appears to be much higher than given on your webpage. My second concern has to do with the quality of the clothes as one of the items has obvious defects on it. To make things worse, you seem to have jumbled up the sizes I ordered because none of the clothing items really fits me. I therefore suggest that you either replace the items or give me a full refund. I greatly appreciate your help and I look forward to hearing from you. The value of things VS the price of things

That's what it means to have an environment. If a benefit grows scarce to the point that people feel they must directly pay cash from their pocket to keep getting it, there's probably a far more dire calamity at hand than that single point of scarcity. Most people will almost always seek other free sources of a benefit first. The price of things is usually affected by it’s value. Since many people assume that higher priced items are better, they value the lower priced items less. I know many people who assume that a freeware program is inferior to a similar commercial program just because it's free. From time to time, things actually have no value, if you think about it. It’s the activity you want to do with it. An good example is that people buy a drill bit. They actually don’t want that drill bit, but they want the hole the drill bit is sized at. In the end, price and value are two different things, but they depend on each other. Priced

for some product groups. Transport costs rose this year as airfares, particularly European and domestic, increased in February. A small upward contribution came from seafares as special offers on some routes recorded a year ago were not repeated in 2005. Fuel prices also rose in February with an average increase of 0.6p per litre on ultra low sulphur petrol. Another large upward effect came from seasonal food with poor weather reported to have restricted continental supplies of salad items leading prices to rise in February. Offsetting downward effects came from a number of commodity groups. February recoveries from sales for furniture and household equipment were not as strong as a year ago, particularly for most furniture items, producing a large downward effect on the CPI annual rate. Another large downward effect came from recreation and culture where there were reduced prices in February for games, toys and hobbies and in particular computer games.

cause only minor skin infections in healthy people. But sometimes, usually in older adults and people who are ill or have weakened immune systems, ordinary staph infections can cause serious illness. Although 30 percent of the population may be colonized with ordinary staph at any given time, just a small percentage of those people are colonized with MRSA. Healthy people can be colonized with MRSA and have no ill effects. However, they can pass the germ to others by sharing items such as towels, clothing and athletic equipment. Several antibiotics continue to be effective against MRSA in the community, but this type of MRSA is a newly evolved bacterium, and it may be a matter of time before some community associated strains become resistant to most antibiotics. Why is MRSA in the news? A CDC report published in an October 2007 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association suggested that MRSA infections are more prevalent than previously thought. It was made from wool or a wool/linen combination and twill woven in a pattern of colored stripes which today has become known as tartan, though originally the word tartan referred to the type of cloth (like linen, or cotton) and not the pattern of colors as the word almost exclusively signifies today. How to prevent petty crime?

There are plenty of things that you can do to avoid pretty crime. If you drive somewhere a car, then wherever you park do not forget to lock your doors and pay attention that your windows are also closed. If you forget to do it, someone may steal your car. When you walk in the street or you take a bus then always check that your pockets are closed and your bag is closed. You never know when someone wants to steal your mobile phone or your wallet. If you want to feel safer then always check your items in your pockets or keep them empty. If you want you may carry tear gas because when someone attacks you, then you can protect yourself. If you have a change, try to avoid empty streets and do not dress too intriguingly, because then you draw too much attention. Everyone knows that when you go out, you have to lock the doors, but if you are at home, you should also keep your doors locked. You never know, when burglars come and break in. If you want to feel safer you should be very careful

Water pollution

organisms and plants and for all of us. First, we have to talk about the causes of water pollution. Domestic households, industrial and agricultural practices produce wastewater that can cause pollution of many lakes and rivers. Industry is a huge source of water pollution, it produces pollutants that are extremely harmful to people and the environment. Dumping of litter in the sea can also cause huge problems. Different items take different lengths of time to degrade in water. Oceans are polluted by oil on a daily basis from oil spills, everyday shipping and dumping. Secondly, it is very significant to know about dangers of water pollution. Virtually all types of water pollution are harmful to the health of humans and animals. Water pollution may not damage our health immediately but can be harmful after long term exposure.

Fast food saves our time and money? Essee

work, you will be probably very hungry and there is nothing better than getting a ready meal. You don’t have to buy the ingredients on the dish and waste time for cooking. Furthermore, fast food is cheaper. If you live alone, it is usually cheaper to buy a meal for one at the supermarket. Also, certain junk foods like burgers and fries are notoriously cheap. On the other hand, junk food contains more fat, salt and calories. Many junk food restaurants increase the fat content in items even further by using cooking methods such as deep frying in saturated oils. Ground beef patties are cooked on a frying pan surface covered with butter or other saturated and unhealthy oils like lard or cottonseed oils. Consuming too much salt can contribute to high blood pressure, water retention and obesity. It is not uncommon for a single meal consisting of a cheeseburger, fries and a shake to have the equivalent of an entire or even two days' worth of calories.

What I would change if I were omnipotent

What I would change if I were omnipotent The thing that bothers me the most in today's world is the lack of care. It is noticeable everywhere: in the streets, on television or even in relationships. If I had the power to change anything I would change the attitude of humankind considering the following issues. Firstly, I am not the kind of person whose glass is always half empty mine is half full but there are some negative aspects that disturb me . Walking down the street I notice litter such as wraps of different kind of junk food, old cigarettes and pieces of gum. Furthermore, I would make the people understand not to throw their trash on the ground but to recycle everything. Make it so that it is illegal to trash and it is the law to recycle. So that eventually everyone would take trash personally. Secondly, When ever I turn on the television there are commercials after commercials. Everything ...

Floods and Tsunamis

Floods and Tsunamis Flood is a natural event or occurrence where a piece of land that is usually dry land, suddenly gets submerged under water. Some floods can occur suddenly and recede quickly. Others take days or even months to build and discharge. When floods happen in an area that people live, the water carries along objects like houses, bridges, cars, furniture and even people. It can wipe away farms, trees and many more heavy items. Floods occur at irregular intervals and vary in size, duration and the affected area. It is important to note that water naturally flows from high areas to low lying areas. This means low-lying areas may flood quickly before it begins to get to higher ground. Flooding is extremely dangerous and has the potential to wipe away an entire city, coastline or area, and cause extensive damage to life and property. It also has great erosive power and can be extremely

Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better

Also you can help the enviroment by recycling and conserving. Recycle all you can. There’s usually one trash can for bags, one for glass, one for cans, one for boxes, one for plastic and one for paper. Use them correctly. Anyway you should avoid using plastic- it never breaks down, and has led to the poisoning and death of numerous sea creatures. Don’t use plastic bags, use reusable fabric bags instead. Don’t waste food, use up your leftovers. Also if you have usable clothes or household items that you don’t need anymore, donate them to charity or sell them, instead of sending them to the landfill. You can protect the enviroment by reducing, reusing and recycling. All these little things like using rechargable batteries, turning off your computers at night, paying bills online, using both sides of paper or planting a tree and so on, all these things matter. It’s not much asked to do these simple and small things for the enviroment.
