Water
Imagine , it is a hot summer ’s day, you are walking down the street , the sun is burning your skin , you have been walking quite a while now and suddenly, you feel you are thirsty. So what would you do …. Probably you go to the nearest store down the street and buy a bottle of water; a bubbly water, a vitamin water, a water from the fridge, there is so many variety of waters and still you have something to complain about how the water is to expensive how the day is too hot, how the water is too cold . And now imagine… imagine the people, who live in African deserts, imagine feeling thirsty and not having any water at all, not around you, not anywhere. People who live there they have to make long journeys or treks over rough and barren land to get water and when they finally reach to that hole in the ground , then that water there isn’t even clean . It takes so much time and energy, just to get a glass water or in the Africans case, a filled 90’s plastic bottle filled with soggy liquid , that does not deserve the title “water”. In these countries people dream about water, children dream about water, it should not be child ’s dream, to get just enough water so that her throat wouldn’t dry. More than a 780 million people (that is 10,9% of the world’s population) do not have access to clean drinking water and estimated 400 million of these are children. Every day people are trying to survive and hoping to see tomorrow , hoping that they wouldn’t die in dehydration. Because of the fast growing population in the world the competition for water is bigger every day and more than 3.4 million people die each year from a water related diseases , that is almost the entire city of Los Angeles . Though you may think that water is very common on our planet , but most of it is circulating in oceans and due the high salinity, it can’t be used to satisfy people’s needs . Clean water is only 3% of the World’s whole water supply and even though most of it is in permafrost. Water cleaning is expensive and indicative. That is why we need to use water sparingly. You don’t have to do much to use water sparingly. Just don’t let run the water when you brush your teeth because you may waste about 30 litres of water per day with that, all depending on the time it takes for you. Don’t flush toxic substances down from your sink , because with those in the water system it is harder to get the chemicals out of that water, Instead but those into a garbage can or collecting places. With that you make the water cleaning a little bit easier and these are the little things that matter. But getting clean water to everywhere is a problem and it will always be a problem. We alone can’t do much for it, but if we join forces and work together, we can accomplish many good things. There are charity organisations that collect donations for the people in need for fresh water .I hope sometimes, when you waste water or pollute the water system or complain about your hard life think, about those poor African people in thirst and drought and about their hardships.

become increasingly aware of the problems that surround it. With a massive influx of natural disasters people need to be aware of what types of environmental problems our planet is facing. Current environmental problems make us vulnerable to disasters and tragedies, now and in the future. Unless we address the various issues seriously we are surely doomed for disaster. Current environmental problems require urgent attention. 1. Pollution: Pollution of air, water and soil require millions of years to recoup. Industry and motor vehicle exhaust are the number one pollutants. Heavy metals, nitrates and plastic are toxins responsible for pollution. While water pollution is caused by oil spill, acid rain, urban runoff; air pollution is caused by various gases and toxins released by industries and factories and burning of fossil fuels; soil pollution is majorly caused by industrial waste that deprives soil from essential nutrients.

Each part has a special job, and all the parts work together to keep you alive and healthy. Good health is one of the most important things in life. There are certain things we can do to stay healthy. We should eat a balanced diet that includes the right kinds of food and drink plenty of clean, fresh water. We should exercise regularly, strengthening our muscles and keeping us in shape. Exercise helps the blood circulate around our bodies, cleaning out waste and supplying plenty of oxygen. It is also important what we get enough sleep. The number of hours we sleep we need depend on our age. Young babies sleep for 20-22 hours each day, whereas older people often need only 6-7 hours. 2.1 Early hospitals The earliest known institutions aiming to provide cure were Egyptian temples.

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

This is what has happened in Africa. There is nowhere in Africa, except maybe in South Africa, that you could point as evidence and say this is where that $375 billion was spent. The question is where did the money go? The money did not go for infrastructural development; it did not go for building good roads; it did not go for providing better energy (electricity); it did not go towards the provision of better health care; it did not go towards providing of better drinking water. In fact, continental Africa right now is in shambles. Africa 11 is home to the poorest nations in the world; Africa is home to AIDs pandemic – more people are dying of AIDS than in any other part of the world; Africa is home to more countries at war than in any other part of the world. Africa is home to more dictators than any other part of the world.

Corralejo is the largest resort on Fuerteventura. Town Beach, with its calm waters, is best for families. Diving, fishing, and tours to nearby islands are other popular pursuits. One of the Sundays will be the most fun because we’re going too an island. After that, I might go swimming with my family. When we get there I will play volleyball mostly. Since the summer gets really hot I will enjoy getting wet at the beach. I may fish there, too. I hope I catch a fish to eat. When I go to the water park I will run through the water and get wet. I could always take my water gun and spray myself, too. My Dad and I might have a water balloon fight. Spain is a wonderful country, I especially like the language they speak and the free life they do. There’s just so much fun stuff to do in the summer at Spain . Than as soon as I get back I think I’ll relax after the vacations I had, then I will try improvise something useful until university starts on October .

amount of energy they used. So Jules decided she should figure out how much energy Les used and then compare her energy consumption to how much she really needed. To do this, they figured out how much energy Jules was using for entertainment, light, heating and cooling, cleaning, preparing food, transportation, and communication devices. They discovered that the amount of energy used for any purpose could be measured in different ways. Light bulbs are measured in watts. Air conditioners and hot water heaters are measured in BTUs, while energy used by cars is measured in gallons of fuel. They used a spreadsheet to figure out how much energy they consumed for each of their activities. Each of the lights, car miles, games, and other appliances was converted to a common unit of power consumption called kilowatt-hours. The spreadsheet was used to determine how many kilowatt-hours were used during each day, each week, and each year for each energy consumption activity

I'd like to present the main issues of our planet and today i'll name 5 of them. These are air pollution, water pollution, endangered animals, deforestation and rubbish. Air pollution Firstly, lets talk about air pollution, which endangeres our life in cities and also the forests near by. Cars and factories blow poisoned gas in the air and it mixes with the oxygen, so the air that we breathe, becomes dangerous to our health. The ozone layer around the Earth, there
