Nuclear Power: A Burden or a Blessing? Today, when the pollution of Earth is an important matter, people are trying to find economic solutions to produce power. This is where the necessity of nuclear power plants comes in question. Nuclear power plants are a cheap way to generate electricity but it also brings a lot of pollution that is much more radioactive and toxic than, for example, coal waste. But if we are looking at the facts, burning coal pollutes the Earth much more than nuclear power plants because more waste is generated. CO2, which is released from burning coal, is the main cause of global warming. Nuclear waste is collected and hidden in rocks or under

Report on using of the Internet in colleges. Introduction The aims of this report are to: 1. Give an overview of using the Internet in college by students 2. Name some pros and cons of using Internet 3. Tell you some perspectives of using Internet in college. To get ready for this report, I questioned most of students in our college and my friends. Necessity of the Internet All questioned students told me, that they used computers all time. At present, almost every youngster uses computer only for using the Internet. Advantages and disadvantages of using Internet The main goal of creating Internet Network was to get opportunity to connect any place of the world instantly. So, European or American can chat with somebody from China or even from Africa. Nowadays we have lots of opportunities to get connected with somebody:
Taking care of look belongs to grown-up behavior! Luckily of unfortunately is look the base of communication, servicing and relationships. So, look is important! Who could imagine being served by a little stinky dude, who dresses into informal dirty clothes? I couldn´t. If look was not important, there would not be loads of etiquette rules. What if look would not be important? I do not even have to generate theories. I know people, who do not think about necessity of taking care of their look. I can see them every day. Somehow they do not aware their problem. How can anyone ever feel comfortable with dirty clothes, untidy skin and fetid body? This secret remains to be under disgusting cover. In conclusion I would say that look is really important! No matter what is being achieved, look has a solid role in result! Of course if people did not care of the way they look, some doors would be closed, but life still would worth living!

Surely everyone has asked these questions from himself and has thought about that. It can not be answered the same, because people have different personalities and value judgements. It looks like for some people happiness depends on that how much money they can earn. Money is for them the most important thing in the world. Somehow money is important for all of us. We need it for everything: to buy food, clothes and other bare necessities. Also we buy other things and services that are less necessity, but we just want to buy them. Money is resource for buying things, is it also a purpose? Why are we studying? Because we want to get a good job, it means for one thing that we want to get big salary. We attempt to make career to get even bigger salary, even more money. We spend huge part of our life for earning money. It looks like this is the meaning of life. Fortunately there is also other things in the life, beside material values. Joy, friends, love we can not buy such things
The ability to chat with friends and colleagues via social networks. Today the most popular social networks are MySpace, Facebook, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Agged, Twitter. On the Internet you can find a lot of different clubs, chat, send text messages to friends. Social networks are for socializing, viewing photos, videos, listening music, creating interest groups and games. Considering everything, I think every person should think about the necessity of their time online or playing games - whether it is for the benefit of a person, or on the contrary, leads to delay its development. Maybe, you should not give the computer, but the fact that spending time on it to better control - it is unique.
Should class attendance be mandatory for university students? It has been heavily debated, whether class attendance in general should be compulsory or optional. While most people can agree on the necessity of class attendance in elementary, as well as secondary school being obligatory, then opinions on required class attendance at university are quite divided. Both two alternatives have their respective up- and downsides but all aspects considered, which is more beneficial? To start off, the students’ chosen specialty usually reflects their interests which means that said students, in fact, want to attend classes. In this case, it seems unnecessary to make classes
the German feudals. The first documented data about Kuressaare castle originate only from 1380s. Kuressaare castle remained the residence for the bishops of Saare-Lääne Bishopric until the beginning of the Livonian War. At the end of the XIV and the beginning of the XV century the castle was surrounded by a new mighty 625 m long and 7 m high belt of walls, erected around the old belt of walls dating from the XIII century. The necessity to improve the defence of the castle was due to the invention and usage of firearms. The old parts of the walls have been preserved in the new earthwork and bastions even today. In the middle of the XV century the wall was made higher and cannon towers were built. The most powerful was the Cannon Tower on the Northern Bastion from about 1470, restored in 1971-72. In 1559 Bishop Johannes V Münchhausen sold his property in Saaremaa (Oesel) and Kurland to the Danes

come to China from poorer countries in Asia hoping to earn more money and have a better life in China than they would in their own countries. To be able to become successful in China they need the Chinese language skills and consequently respect the teachers who can make a great difference in their lives by teaching them the necessary vocabulary. In Estonia on the other hand, the reason to study Chinese is often due to some level of interest rather than a necessity. Therefore the motivation and effort the students put in the Chinese language studies varies greatly. According to the lecturer, the students in Estonia question the teacher's decisions more than the students in China which also suggests that the teachers have a smaller amount of authority. She explains that in her experience the students in Estonia occasionally complain about the large amount of home assignments, tests and some classroom assignments such as moving

surpluses reached 26 million tonnes. Task: Brainstorm the new technological innovations An OPTIMISTIC approach (Alternative theory) Ester Boserup (1965) suggested that an increase in population would stimulate technologists to increase food production. It followed that a rise in population will increase demand for food and therefore act as an incentive to modify technology to produce more food. In other words, “Necessity is the mother of invention” . As population increases agriculture moves into higher stages of intensity with new methods. An OPTIMISTIC approach Followers of Boserup argue that food production is much more optimistic than that of a Malthusian, as she claims that food supplies will stay ahead of population growth. Innovations such as the ‘Green Revolution’ introduced HYVs to LEDCs who witnessed increased
As the amount of devices connected to the internet of things is constantly on the rise, making it innately more secure and protecting those devices from abuse, in a sense of unwanted access , manipulation by third parties and other scenarios, is rapidly turning into a pressing issue. According to some sources there were about 13.4 billion connected devices back in 2015 and the projections show there might be up to 38.5 billion such devices in 2020 [2]. As the number of devices increases, the necessity for a proper security mechanism concerning those devices becomes a priority in order to safely adopt the evergrowing internet of things into every aspect of a persons daily life. Privacy One of the most discussed issues concerning the security of the internet of things is the issue of privacy. According to a study done by HP, 70 percent of the most frequently used IoT devices containt vulnerabilities. One of the most common security issue was privacy related. It appears that 90%

person, the author, which delivered his “confidence.” — 2 The Death of the Author Though the Author’s empire is still very powerful (recent criticism has often merely consolidated it), it is evident that for a long time now certain writers have attempted to topple it. In France, Mallarme was doubtless the first to see and foresee in its full extent the necessity of substituting language itself for the man who hitherto was supposed to own it; for Mallarme, as for us, it is language which speaks, not the author: to write is to reach, through a preexisting impersonality — never to be confused with the castrating objectivity of the realistic novelist — that point where language alone acts, “performs,” and not “oneself”: Mallarme’s entire poetics consists in suppressing the author for the

Britain created two new colonies: New Brunswick and Upper Canada. New Brunswick was created in 1784. Upper Canada became part of Quebec in 1791. Upper Canada was the English-speaking colony and Lower Canada was the French-speaking colony. They were reunited in 1841, called Canada West and Canada East and the capital of them was Montreal. They become provinces of Ontario and Quebec in 1867. Uniting all the Canadian provinces soon became a necessity. There were five reasons why it was good to unite the provinces: they wanted to be protected from the USA, they wanted to defend themselves against the Fenians, trading would be much easier, they wanted to build a railway from east to west and Britain didn't want to support Canadian provinces anymore likewise Canadian provinces wanted to break away from Britain. 1st July 1867 the Dominion of Canada was formed of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Therefore the number of unknowns are less, than the number of equations (because the conservation of number of particles requires the density

Its in peoples nature to satisfy ther curiosity with gossip about other people sexual relations in the news columns of the daily papers. Journalists are hired to present stories that news consumers want, and if they don't, their business may collapse. This has caused the necessity to protect men and women from the invasion to his or her privacy that can harm subject mentally and give distress, far greater than bodily injury. The solitude and privacy is more and more essential to the individual. They look into several case law about breach of trust, confidence and an implied contract. That is why you can not reject it, although you may say that you don’t believe it. 3. What is Kant’s categorical imperative? It is a kind of ethic or moral law or philosophy that applies to every being. It is a motivation for an action that must be completed. For example, if i want to get a grade for this exam, it is imperative that i answer these questions. It is a certain action or inaction that must be theoretically completed in order to achieve what is necessary. The necessity for this moral law is quite simple: Immanuel Kant provided a sort of equation for the humanity, if we can name it that, that determines a reason for things we do or why we find certain things moral or immoral and why we want to follow certain things through, example given why we eat - so to not starve or why we follow the law - so to not go to jail. 4. What was civic democracy in Medieval society? Civic democracy was called feudalism. It comes from the Latin word feodum or feudum

Tema esimene avaldatud teos oli gooti romaan "Zastrozzi" (1810), milles ta väljendas oma ateismi kelm Zastrozzi kuju kaudu. Samal aastal avaldas Shelley koos oma õega raamatu "Original Poetry by Victor and Cazire". Oxfordis õppides andis ta välja luulekogu "Posthumous Fragments of Margaret Nicholson". Võib-olla tegi kaastööd kaasüliõpilane Thomas Jefferson Hogg. 1811 avaldas Shelley pamfleti "Ateismi paratamatus" ("The Necessity of Atheism"), mille pärast ta pidi koos Hoggiga Oxfordist lahkuma.
