Conclusion

I believe that the underwater hockey is very  interesting and unusual
sport, which of course I would like to try to take  part  and get an
impression of it by myself. Despite the  fact  that underwater hockey
is such unusual and in some case  strange  sport , this is  popular  in
lots  of countries , and as i am  already  told  , there is held even
World Championships . I think that in the future underwater hockey
will be more popular and more people would take part in this
competition .I think that a lot of people would like to try  himself  in
such difficult but intresting sport .

SPORT In English the word ‘sport’ describes both casual play and the highest levels of performance. Recent surveys reveal that 10% of adults play sports more than twice a week, the majority of the British population involves in sport or physical recreation at least once a month. Most people have an interest in some sports as a player, spectator or gambler, but everybody in Britain seems to be fond of outdoor exercise, be it jogging, walking, rambling or just sitting on the bench outdoors. As British homes are rather cool in winter (at least for Estonians!), the saying goes that ‘the English like fresh air outdoors and indoors’. Most people are conscious of the good influence of sport on their health. They expect a lot from it –

Canada is the second largest country in the world, bordered by three oceans, and across the country, Canadians experience many different landscapes from rolling plains and mountains to the cold tundra of the north. Despite Canada's great size, it is one of the world's most sparsely populated countries

Lacrosse Lehesalu

Lehesalu Andres AT112 Lacrosse Lacrosse Lacrosse is a team sport of Native American origin played using a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick called a crosse or lacrosse stick, mainly played in the United States and Canada. It is a contact sport which requires padding such as shoulder pads, gloves, helmets, elbow pads, and sometimes even rib guards History Lacrosse, a relatively popular team sport in the Americas, may have developed as early as AD 1100. By the seventeenth century it was well- established and had been documented by Jesuit priests, although the game has undergone many modifications since that time. In the traditional aboriginal Canadian version, each team consisted of about 100 to 1,000 men on a field that stretched from about 500 meters to 3 kilometers long. These lacrosse games lasted from sunup to sundown for two to three days straight

Ads on the whole are convenient for grown-ups. But is it good for children to watch all those ads where they show all kinds of underwear and what not? Questions: 1. What advantages does television have? 2. What disadvantages does television have? 3. What did my friend find when his TV-set broke down? 4. What do they sometimes show? Vocabulary: entertainment -- to turn on -- passive -- to dominate -- to break down -- argument -- violence -- pop music -- ads (advertisemets) -- Sport in My School If you want to keep fit you must go in for one kind of sport or another. Sport is an essential part of my daily life. Every morning all the year round I do my morning exercises. Almost every day I do some training. In summer I go swimming or rowing. During my summer holidays I go on hikes. I usually spend my winter holidays in the country where I ski, skate or toboggan. I also go in for track-and-field (athletics) events. Different sports and games are popular

Tennis

Term paper Tennis Karin Visnapuu 10B I decided to make this term about tennis, because I enjoy playing tennis. I have played it for two years. It's not long time but I have learned lots of skills during that time. Tennis is a sport played between two players or between two teams of two players each. Each player has a racket. Tennis is played with a tennis-ball. At first, the ball was white but in the later part of the 20th century it was changed to yellow to allow

above. As a soccer coach, you often tread a thin line between what has been proven scientifically and what is considered “best practice.” Unfortunately, science in soc- cer is still in its infancy, and there are still many question marks in this regard. Soccer is a very complex sport in which different physical abilities are used in tan- dem, often competing for adaptation. Because not everything in the field of soccer science has been “mapped out” yet, we often have to rely on our experience and intuition. I hope this book can help in some small way to make you a better “reasonable

Sports. Sports has a very old history. The ancient Olympic Games were the first big sports competitions. The history of the Olympic Games is linked with many myths referred to in ancient sources, but in the historic years their founder is said to be Oxylos whose descendant Ifitos later rejuvenated the Games. According to the tradition, the Olympic Games began in 776 B.C. when Ifitos made a treaty with Lycourgos the king and famous legislator of Sparta and Cleisthenes the king of Pissa
