I take part of student representive and drama group ,,X". I'm also participant in several youth projects, which include integrating national minorities and giving information about healthcare. About the sport, I used to take part of swimming trainings, but this year training times don't fit for me, so I'm going to swim and gym on my own twice a week. I'm also into skiing, but this sport can be done only in winter. We have really good skiing tracks in X, so I try to use them as much as I can. My summer-sport is camping. I like all kind of camping trips: on foot, with bike, with canoe. I enjoy camping, because of the wonderful nature of Estonia. In school my favorite subject is Math. E lessons we play ball games, do long jumps and run and have fun. I think everybody have good time there. I think we should have P.E lessons every day to keep our bodies in shape. We do it by oneself to get in good shape. Outside school there are so many sports to do after the school and it's good to do some sports outside school to stay healthy. If some person hate P.E lessons at school and hate to do sports, then it's not good. What If your friends invited you somewhere, where you need to run, swim or play ball games, you should be able to handle it. I think you get tired and get exhausted, and that's why everybody is supposed to do sport. If you don't like what you see in the mirror, you should make an effort by training a bit every day. Than one day the person looking back in the mirror is much more likeable and person who loves oneself is loveable to others too. You can start exercising step by step, so it would be easier. You

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to apply for the advertisement on your website requesting for volunteers to join a conservation expedition to a remote region of Costa Rica. I speak basic Spanish. I had learned Spanish at school for a year and after that I went to Spain. I lived there for a few years and I can easily speak with local community without any problems. I also took part in different swimming competitions. I like long distance in an openwater, so it is not a challenge for me to swim a lot and fast in the river or in the sea. I have two queries about the expedition. Firstly, could you please inform me about the animals which will be researched in the rainforest and in the waters close to the coast? Secondly, when and where will the twoweek introductory course take place? I look forward to your reply. Yours faithfully, .................

Pula, traveling

It was in July 2011. The weather was beautiful, so we went to swimming and sunbathing. There is an arena called The Pula Arena. It is an ancient Roman-style very large. This is the most beautiful building in this city. My mom wanted to go there, so we bought the tickets and went to this wonderful place. We were amazed. It was so large and beautiful. I have never seen such a fantastic thing before. I love this city, because I feel so free and comfortable there. I can swim, sunbathe, walk throgh the city and enjoy life. I can do almost all of these things there, that I can't do in Estonia. I recommend everyone who love sea, sun and friendly people to go to Pula.

How to save fresh water?

fresh water. It can seem like there's no solution, but there is! A few simple changes can help a lot. First of all, it is really important to keep our lakes clean, because nature is the premier source of fresh water. So people should stop dropping garbage into the lakes or near them. And walking pets near the lakes is also not such a good idea. It's not very nice to find some animal's body wastes while going to swim. Secondly, think about how much water you use. A few simple steps could save your money and help protect the environment. For example you should prefer shower to bath or you should turn the water off while brushing your teeth. Finally, people who work in agriculture, should start collecting rainwater to water their fields and gardens. It's much cheaper and naturefriendly. So don't just sit there! We can all do our bit from keeping our lakes clean to collecting rainwater

Students were also not allowed to sleep anywhere else than their home and to swim in cold water. For breaking the rules students could be punished with flogging, sitting on the floor, reading religious texts or a fine.

He was the person who taught me to play piano, to make pancakes and I even learned from him how to swim. My grandfather was always there for me and gave me the perfect advice that I needed. He was there with me at every event that was important for me, for example he was there listening to my every piano concert although I know that these were always very boring for him. I remember him sitting on the couch, listening to the radio and thoughtfully, quiatly solving the crossword. He was very good at these, because he was incredibly smart. Easter traditions in Estonia

We use different colors and techniques: painting with herbs, watercolors, markers, special colors etc. There aren't any certain patterns to use, everyone can do it any way they like. We also give colored eggs as presents to friends and children are cracking the eggs. More than Easter Estonians have traditionally celebrated a spring. There is a day near Easter called Paastumaarjapäev (the Day of Virgin Mary and Fast) which is a women's day. Women and girls go together to swim in a spring in the sunrise it will make them fresh and goodlooking for rest of the year. After they dance and sing and dance traditional round dances. It used to be the only day when men stayed at home and took care of the house and children. Women colored their cheeks with a herb "naistepuna" ("women's red") and went to tavern to have some red liqueur. Celebrating spring contains more or less fertilizing rituals. What i value most in a friend

We almost never fight. It's very important, that we can trust each other. I got my first friend in playschool. Her name is Anna. We started to get along very well and we did everything together. I think people make friends because they need someone to talk to and a friend who can play with. I have a lot in common with my friend Merit. We do a lot of thing together.Like..go shopping and study together. Also we like to watch comedy movies. And in summer we always go beach together to sunbathe and swim. She is very trusty, friendly and funny. Both of us enjoy dancing. We use to visit clubs very often and party there. We also have differences, like everybody does. Merit doesn't like hip-hop music, I absolutely love it. In some ways we are very different. We have different activitis and lifestyles. My friend lives with her parents at home, but I live with my boyfriend. Some of my friends party a lot, however I stay at home most of my time. Firstly a good friend is someone who is honest

and increase your motivation to sit down and learn. Secondly, I recommend taking breaks periodically. This would mean that your concentration is better and you find yourself retaining more information than if you try to revise with an over- tired mind that does not remember what it just read. Lastly, it is also important to stay calm and positive. Spend time doing something relaxing each day, such as listening to your favorite music, going for a walk or swim. You also need to make sure you eat and sleep well and get some exercise. In this way, you will feel relaxed and connected to others and the world as you keep working through the revision. Exams can seem daunting but it is really important to keep in mind that it will not last forever. I believe that by using these simple revising techniques, you will find yourself calm, focused and fully prepared for the exam.

Modal verbs

........................................ 7 Asking about possibilities ..................................................... 7 Infinitives ............................................................................. 8 Introduction Modal Verbs are can, could, may, might, must, will, would, shall, should, ought to. They are known as modal auxiliary verbs because they ‘help’ another verb, i.e. they are always used with another verb in its base form. e.g. I can swim. Do you think I should go? Characteristics of Modal Verbs • There is no -s in the third person singular: She can ski. He must be tired. It might rain. • They are used to form questions and negatives: Shall we go for a walk? What should I do? He can’t dance. You mustn’t tell lies! • Modal auxiliary verbs don’t usually have past forms. Other expressions are used instead: I had to work hard at school.
