1. OBJECT-ORIENTED PARADIGM The Model •The model defines an abstract view to the problem. This implies that the model focuses only on problem related stuff and that you try to define properties of the problem. These properties include: 1 •the data which are affected and 2 •the operations which are identified by the problem. Object-oriented Paradigm •Everything is an object •A program is a bunch of objects telling each other what to do by sending messages •Each object has its own memory made up of other objects •Every object has a type •All objects of a particular type can receive the same messages Domain Model •A domain model does not represent the entire domain as it is in the real world. It includes only the concepts that are needed to support the application. Object •Is a partitioned area of memory where object code is stored •The area of memory is protected

Applications Architecture User Systems Architecture Covers all architecture aspects of Information, Technical and Applications Architecture. 3 Modelviewcontroller (MVC) is an architectural pattern used in software engineering. Successful use of the pattern isolates business logic from user interface considerations, resulting in an application where it is easier to modify either the visual appearance of the application or the underlying business rules without affecting the other. In MVC, the model represents the information (the data) of the application; the view corresponds to elements of the user interface such as text, checkbox items, and so forth; and the controller manages the

companies. 3 According to Cohen & Lee (1988) Supply Chain Management is "The network of organizations that are having linkages, both upstream and downstream, in different processes and activities that produces and delivers the value in form of products and services in the hands of ultimate consumer." Thus a shirt manufacturer is a part of supply chain that extends up stream through the weaves of fabrics to the spinners and the manufacturers of fibers, and down stream through distributions and retailers to the final consumer. Though each of these organizations are dependent on each other yet traditionally do not closely cooperate with each other. An integrated supply chain management streamlines processes and increases profitability by delivering the right product to the right place, at the

5. Financial Institutions and Services Objectives and Outcomes To give overview of main players. 5.1. Introduction It is common to distinguish between monetary financial institutions (MFIs) and other financial intermediaries. The distinction is based on the functions of institutions institutions in the first group (MFIs) play important role in the process of money creation in modern economies. European Central Bank (ECB) describes Monetary financial institutions as including national central banks (and also ECB in the euro area), credit institutions and non-credit institutions which receive deposits from general public (individuals and non-MFI firms) and grant credit and/or invest in securities. Major non-credit MFIs in Europe are money market funds. Credit institutions are defined in the directive 1 relating to the taking up and pursuit of the business of credit institutions as:

Kuidas muudab mudelprojekteerimine teraskonstruktsioonide valmistamist ja ehitamist

The purpose of this study is to determine how 3D and BIM are changing the design, fabrication and construction of complex steel structures. The thesis is qualitative in nature, in that it tries to determine the effects of virtual design and construction based on in-depth analysis of two case studies. Data were collected during 5 interviews with people who were intimately involved in the projects. Background information was obtained from professional journals, engineering articles and conference papers. During analysis, the data were compared to propositions that emerged from the literature review to determine whether a clear pattern was present. A comparison table was created to compare the effects of virtual design and construction of the two projects. Additionally, a schedule is presented to explain the deadline slippage on one of the case studies. The schedule is accompanied with a data exchange diagram to illustrate how collaboration can affect the

A new array of commercial models is becoming more important, like the B2B2C where the service is sold by another business with an end-user base. Customer charges are likely to be associated with service value instead of usage, making connectivity an element of the service, and therefore not being visible for the consumer. Mobile operators should avoid becoming mere merchandise by boosting the potential of their networks for value added services to become a part of a US$ 422.6 billion industry. One of the latest innovations is the ability to remote provisioning of IoT devices used in hazardous locations, by using an embedded sim which takes away the need to access the sim physically. Mobile networks might have to be upgraded to recognize services in order to be able to provide the necessary bandwidth. Migratory services will likely make the use of location information and geo-fencing critically important, meaning the network has to identify the

foreign investments minus the income earned by foreign investors in the domestic market. Gross Domestic Product GDP can be determined in three ways, all of which should in principle give the same result. · They are the product (or output) approach, the income approach, and the expenditure approach. The most direct of the three is the product approach, which sums the outputs of every class of enterprise to arrive at the total. The expenditure approach works on the principle that all of the product must be bought by somebody, therefore the value of the total product must be equal to people's total expenditures in buying things. The income approach works on the principle that the incomes of the productive factors ("producers") must be equal to the value of their product, and determines GDP by finding the sum of all producers' incomes

How to write a Design Report

” If you stopped there, you would most certainly be asked one more question, “did it work?” Therefore, you would continue “After we made those changes, Tim slept great for almost three weeks. He told me everything was back to normal, and what’s better, he’s become a huge classical music fan. The only drawback was getting the mattress for free off of craigslist. Next time I’d pay a little money for one that was less dirty.” This problem is not an engineering design problem, but the way in which it is documented is identical. Proper documentation includes three parts: problem definition, design description, and evaluation. All three are required to communicate your solution. The figure below shows the basic organization of any design report and should be the model for any report that you write. The following sections provide more detail about the content for each part. Emergence of next-generation accounting – The late 20th century saw worldwide progress in harmonizing financial reporting. 5 Benefits of reporting  Effective management in a global economy, where information travels at Internet speed, requires a proactive approach.  Today’s strategic and operational complexities require a continua dialogue with

Connector header - a series of two or more metal pins on the motherboard or other PCB; used to attach a cable to indicator lights, switches, and/or other devices in the computer Jumper header - two pins or a series of two-pin groups where jumpers are used. BIOS - Pronounced "bye-ose," an acronym for basic input/output system. The BIOS is built- in software that determines what a computer can do without accessing programs from a disk. On PCs, the BIOS contains all the code required to control the keyboard, display screen, disk drives, serial communications, and a number of miscellaneous functions. The BIOS is typically placed in a ROM chip that comes with the computer (it is often called a ROM BIOS). This ensures that the BIOS will always be available and will not be damaged by disk failures. It also makes it possible for a computer to boot itself. Because RAM is faster than ROM, though, many computer manufacturers design systems so that the BIOS is copied

The Zoiper' interface Also it is necessary to choose the right audio codec for VoIP transmission which ensure us the right quality of MOS from 3,5 to 4. In this case the best choice for us will be a G.729 codec a speech codec, with the low-latency G.729 audio data-compression algorithm, which partitions speech into 10-ms frames. It uses an algorithm called conjugate-structure ACELP (CS-ACELP). G.729 compresses 16-bit signals sampled at 8 kHz via 10-ms frames into a standard bit rate of 8 kbps, but it also supports 6.4-kbps and 11.8-kbps rates. In addition, it supports voice-activity detection and comfort-noise generation. Video conferences are too important for our customer. For video codec we chose the default H.261. This standard, developed in 1990, was the first widely used video codec. It introduced the idea of segmenting a frame into 16 3 16 "macroblocks" that are tracked between frames to establish motion-compensation vectors

Others are incredibly complex, such as a survey of the general public across all countries of the European Union in which the same questions need to be answered in multiple languages by people of all educational levels. In the mid-twentieth century there was a remarkable similarity of survey procedures and methods. Most surveys of significance were done by face-toface interviews in most countries in the world. Self-administered paper surveys, usually done by mail, were the only alternative. Yet, by the 1980s the telephone had replaced face-to-face interviews as the dominate survey mode in the United

All about High Tech High tech is technology that is at the cutting edge--the most advanced technology currently available. There is no specific class of technology that is high tech--the definition shifts over time--so products hyped as high tech in the 1960s would now be considered, if not exactly low tech, then at least somewhat obsolete. This fuzzy definition has led to marketing departments describing nearly all new products as high tech. Economy Because the high-tech sector of the economy develops or uses the most advanced technology known, it is often seen as having the most potential for future growth. This perception has led to
